Today's Spoiler

Back in Collin's suite, Jill once again sets the scene for romance. Meanwhile, Collin returns to the wine cellar. Almost catching Cane in the act of trying to open the safe, a suspicious Collin doesn't believe he hung around to swipe a bottle of wine.

At CL's, Ricky Williams introduces himself to Noah. At first skeptical that Avery's intern is going up against his sister (for his Mom), Noah's buys Ricky's 'it's part of the job' (and his coffee).

At G-worm, Paul calls Nick over for an update on Sharon's trial. Is he asking as Sharon's friend or Heather's father? Both. Nick reports it was a win for Sharon - a loss for Heather.

At the GCAC, Avery's surprised that Walsh wants to discuss a plea bargain. Avery reads (then rejects) his 'great offer' - confident she'll get an acquittal. Knowing all about Avery's ambition - she better present the offer (uninfluenced or else). Avery will leave the decision to Sharon.

At the pen, Sharon whines about the testimony of a man she loves so much (and thanks him for hiring the wonderful Avery). You're strong - you'll win, Victor encourages (though Sharon's obviously stressed).

Hurry home baby, Jill leaves Collin another message - promising to make it worth his while.

Collin accuses Cane of being the one helping Genevieve (keep him and Jill apart). You're losing it old man, Cane sneers his denial - and is skeptical that Gen even locked him in the cellar. I. Had. Nothing. To. Do. With. This - Cane then shouts (swearing on the soul of his sister). Leaving to see Jill, Collin says Cane can burn his mother's house down for all he cares.

At the club, Heather's annoyed that Walsh offered Sharon a deal without consulting with her. Yeah, well, he's annoyed that she was beaten by Heather (with help from HER brother).

Thanked for all he's done, Victor feels bad about his testimony (or lack thereof) in Sharon's last trial - but not guilty. He's doing this for his family - his grandchildren (and because he knows Sharon didn't kill Skye). Boy, does Sharon regret going to Hawaii - for ADAM. Victor was right all along. Victor knows her mistakes were made out of love - and she's paid for it. Avery comes along to relay the DA's offer - involuntary manslaughter (which'll free Sharon in 18 months).

Sure Paul wants his daughter to succeed - but if Sharon's innocent, she should be free. Informing that Ricky's working against the sister he never met, Paul didn't want them to get to know one another like this. Hopefully they can still have some family fun. Paul doesn't really know Ricky. Relating (because of Noah), Nick's sure that Paul and Ricky will have a good relationship.

On the patio, Ricky and Noah discuss the random coincidence of him coming back to GC. Offering to show him around town, Noah thanks Ricky for looking our for his Mom. See you around. Heather then comes out - wondering why Ricky didn't give her a heads up (that he'd be working the other side of this big case).

Reading over the offer, Sharon finds it appealing - but doesn't like that she's admitting Skye's death was her fault - that she'd have to stand up in court and say she's guilty (a lie). Avery can't make the decision. Neither can Victor.

Approaching his suite, Collin's on the phone - explaining that his ex wife made the bank transfers ~click~ Jill greets him at the door with a kiss.

Meanwhile, Ronan meets Cane at the park; what's the emergency? Cane's finally got the evidence Ronan needs.

When Sharon accepts the deal, both Avery and Victor caution her. Looking forward to her release, Sharon hopes they aren't disappointed. Leaving to call Walsh, Avery does indeed look disappointed.

As Heather continues to grumble, Ricky explains that he had no idea she was prosecuting Sharon's case (one that could make his career). Paul's delighted to find his kids chatting - until he notices the sibling rivalry (as Ricky tattles that Heather feels he blind sided her).

Jill pulls out all the stops. Feeding Collin strawberries, she promises a massage ~kiss~ But the mood's shattered - when Collin asks Jill if she's sure that Genevieve's off on business.

Ronan's not impressed to hear about Genevieve's safe. It's not enough for a warrant, he's about to walk away. Busting it open will disqualify anything inside as evidence. There must be another way, Cane persists.

Avery joins Nick at G-worm. Reporting the deal Sharon's accepting, she asks a favour; Nick's to come to the hearing - bring Faith and Noah.

Nick's not comfortable - but will think about it ((bringing the kids) when Avery explains there'll be no media or jury. Why? You can't have too much family support, Avery smiles.

On the patio, the William's family continue their happy little reunion. Getting the call, Heather updates Ricky (that Sharon's taking a plea). Nothing's going as planned today, Heather huffs off (leaving her brother and father to frown).

Jill gives Collin some advice - when you're about to get lucky with a woman don't ask her where your ex wife is. Collin just wonders what Genevieve's up to next. OK - let's call the cops - have them meet her at the airport. No - Collin needs to deal with Gen personally.

Cane's furious that Ronan won't take action against Collin (leaving Jill to fall in love with him again - and the woman he loves living in fear). To hell with waiting!

Blowing candles out, Jill realizes that Collin has a lot to work out - with Genevieve. Resolving things personally sounds like foreplay to her. Collin assures the romance is over between him and Genevieve. But when Collin says that Genevieve's never had reason to kidnap him away from another woman, Jill thinks it the most romantic thing anyone's ever said to her.

Ronan understands why Cane's so upset about Collin - but running on adrenaline isn't the way to proceed. Since when do you operate by the book? Cane wants Collin GONE! Tell me what to do. Be patient, Ronan instructs.

Arriving at the courthouse, Ricky thinks this must be new for Avery (who's never cut a deal before). Avery must consider what's best for the client. All now seated, Sharon's about to plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter - when Nick arrives with Noah (and Faith - who bleats Mama, Mama).

Relighting the candles, Collin leaves a message for Genevieve. He'll thank her personally when she gets back. Jill emerges in a satin robe over a black negligee. And as they kiss, the robe slips the floor.

Using a small explosive to blow up the safe, Cane fans the smoke and removes Collin's bank ledgers. Decided not to take my advice, Ronan arrives - nice work.

As Faith continues to babble Mama, Sharon turns back to the Judge (who repeatedly asks how she pleads). Not guilty! Sharon barks - if she plead to something she didn't do, she could never look her kids in the face again. Court dismissed. Don't screw this up, Walsh spits at Heather as he marches out. Sharon tells her supporters that she wants to come home someone they can all be proud of. Avery will see to it. Prevented from holding Faith, Sharon thanks Nick for bringing her. Aside, Nick sees right through Avery (who admits she hoped seeing the kids would change Sharon's mind). Very clever - another win for the unbeatable lady lawyer. But the kids better win too.

Next: Guess that means we're gonna get to know each other, Avery leans in to gush over Lucy (in Phyllis' arms). Don't do that to her, Phyllis protests ... Isn't it best of Vikki hears something from me? Billy asks. She's moved on - there's another man in her life, Victor claims .... You're Sharon Newman - we have something in common; Phyllis (Daisy meets Sharon in the pen).

My Thoughts: 30 years dropped down to 3 years is pretty damn good (even better that whomever's doing the math figures that Sharon will be out in 18 months). Even worse at math is Sharon (who's thrilled she'll be out before Faith's 5th birthday) .... Sure he interns for the Innocence Foundation, but here's something NOT so innocent about Ricky. Wouldn't be surprising if he had a chip on his shoulder - but he should be irked with Paul (as there's no reason HE couldn't raise his son) - Heather had no part in it - and it's not like she was raised by Daddy either .... If Ricky's job is to 'research all the players' how could he not know that his sister is prosecuting Sharon in this 'huge' case? And if he wants his 'career' to go anywhere, he might wanna drop 'Ricky' in favour of 'Rick'. Just sayin' ... I wish they'd make their minds up. Avery clearly tells Ricky that she HAS lost cases before - yet Nick calls her the 'unbeatable' lady lawyer (and really - what difference does her gender make? It makes him sound derogatory and chauvinistic) ... Nick calls Avery clever - but isn't HE the clever one (so easily seeing through her plan). Good thing Faith's so chatty. Me thinks Sharon has a long road in making her kids and supporters 'proud' of her. Kinda odd that Sam wasn't present for Sharon's hearing today - considering he left his home and thriving veterinary practice to stand by her side)..... I sorta see Jill's irritation with Collin - but given that he was locked in a wine cellar, checking Genevieve's whereabouts is a logical step. But, instead of getting 'lucky' with Jill - why isn't he filing a police report? ... Who knew Cane the bartender knew anything about explosives. And did he leave the front door open - or did 'by the book' Ronan commit break and enter? What? Cane doesn't know the exact date his parents first had sex?
