Today's Spoiler

At the station, Victor and Baldwin claim Abby was only trying to protect her mother. Unfortunately, Walsh finds the taped confession pretty convincing. Sitting in the corner like a chastised toddler, Abby thanks her Mom for coming (Tucker on her heels). Tucker's hearing over 'quickly', Victor wonders how it turned out.

Jill approaches Jack at the club's bar. Unable to reach Kay she wonders about the hearing - do we still have jobs?? On cue, a reporter badgers Jack for comment on 'her' condition, Jack's forced to confide that Kay collapsed at the hearing.

Meanwhile, at Memorial, Kay's hooked up to all the obligatory beeping medical apparatus; including a breathing tube.

Bumping into one another at CL's, a crutchless Vikki and 'taking a break from the hospital' Chloe are all smiles (which turn upside down when Kevin calls to report that Kay collapsed).

Hurling darts at mach speed, Billy pauses to flashback over a photo of him and Vikki (removed from the dartboard). Delivering Billy's phone, Kevin lectures; call only me - for emergencies - don't let Victor see it. Kevin's agitated state has nothing to do with Delia - it's Mrs C.

Neil and Devon step back - as Murphy charges to Kay's bedside (sure it was Tucker who caused Kay's collapse). Neil recaps the hearing - Tucker won because Jack turned on Kay (who may have suffered another stroke).

Billy has no doubt that Tucker's responsible for Kay's collapse (just like the last one). And when he whines about not being able to go to his grandma, Kevin reminds that it's his own fault. Kevin will be back to update Billy (who'll be here - in the trailer - slowly going out of his mind).

Back at the station, Tucker updates Victor on his win (assuring that Jack's offer was legit - not 'phony'. Clearly unimpressed, Victor's 'stunned' that Ashley was part of this 'vengeance'. Victor leaving, Tucker's eager to find Walsh - clear Abby - and get the hell outta there too.

In Memorial's waiting area, Neil and Devon update an arriving Vikki and Chloe (who's sure that Kay will be OK).

Hearing that the CT scan shows a blood vessel ruptured, Murphy wonders if stress brought it on. The doctor reports Kay's blood pressure was high. Her chances of recovery? The next 24 hours are critical. Kay could walk outta here in a few days - but um - does she have a signed DNR? No need to discuss it - Murphy's sure Kay will pull through.

Insisting that he was GOING to tell Jill, Jack admits he wouldn't be welcome at the hospital (because he teamed up with Tucker). How COULD you!? Damn right he's not welcome at GCM - and if Kay doesn't live, Jill will ensure Jack and Tucker pay for this!

Searching online for info on Kay, Billy comes across an article re: the Jenkins murder. What? Abby was driving - almost killed a man? he sighs.

Mike thinks it a good idea if Tucker talks to the DA - IF he's gonna corroborate Ashley's story (that she was driving). When Walsh joins them, Tucker demands Abby's release. I was driving, Ashley chimes in. The DA believing Abby's confession, Tucker will break the tie - he saw it all clearly - Ashley was driving. When Mike concludes that there's no case against Abby, Walsh has only one problem - he doesn't believe them.

As Jill goes to see Kay, Victor joins Vikki, Devon and Neil (who confirms Victor's suspicions 100% - Tucker and Jack's deal caused Kay's collapse).

In Kay's room, Murphy reports it was a stroke caused by hypertension. The doctor's think she might not wake up - but Murphy (and Jill) know better. Get off your keester and get in the game - giving up is NOT an option! Tough words - for a tough broad - but both Murphy and Jill are near tears.

Tucker scoffs and sneers at Walsh's abilities - and if the DA keeps coming after his wife and stepdaughter, he'll FINISH him. Threatening a cover story on RS (with a really loooong headline; vindictive power hungry DA railroads confused innocent woman because her father financed his opponents campaign. Tucker looks forward to giving Walsh a taste of his own medicine. Mike jumps in to suggest the charges against Abby be dropped, he and the DA walk off - leaving Tucker to make a speech to Abby (not everyone's lucky enough to have a mother who loves them enough to go to jail to protect em).

At Kay's bedside, Jill assures Murphy that it won't come to pullin' the plug - then mentions the will change (to include Devon).

Knowing Mrs C as she does, Kevin's sure that losing Jack's friendship would be more painful than losing Jabot. She values loyalty above all. Those who hold the same values will be here in droves. As always, Vikki mentions Billy (who should be here for Jill). He abandoned his family, Victor arrives to remind. What's wrong? Chloe notices Kevin pullin' a face. All then turn to glare at Jack. What the hell are you doing here? Victor plays spokesperson - blaming Jack and Tucker. Jack maintains it was a business transaction (when Neil and Devon chime in from the peanut gallery). Arms folded, Victor knows that Jack will be popping champagne when he gets home. Ignoring the bait, Jack's exit line is 'give Kay my best'. Victor doubts Tucker will show up next - he doesn't even pretend to care about his mother.

Ignoring calls from the press, Tucker sure will make an official statement - go to hell! Mike returns - all charges against Abby are dropped (thanks to the RS threat). The Abbott women thank their 'hero' (who then leaves to deal with some things - no - not at the hospital). Ashley and Abby hug - it's over - it's over! Including Abby's resentment towards Tucker (if Ashley gets her way).

Jill and Murphy leave Kevin to give Mrs C a pep talk. Oh how they all need her. Really needing some advice, Kevin's joined by Victor (who objects when Kevin says Billy sends his love). What if she CAN hear? Or if Vikki walked in? Kevin scurries out - leaving Victor to give his own brand of pep talk - don't let those bastards (Jack and Tucker) beat you - let's knock their heads together!

At his office, Jack finds Tucker behind his desk - sitting in the dark. Resting your eyes? or wrestling your conscience, Jack wonders (pointing out that Kay DID work hard to keep his empire going). She still felt a bond - and seeing Tucker now, Jack thinks he feels the same way.

Updating Abby and Ashley on Kay's condition, Devon takes a shot at Tucker (then excuses himself). Abby tells Victor and Vikki that Walsh dropped the charges - thanks to Tucker.

In the hallway, Murphy and Jill discuss whether the new will (including Devon) went through. It'd be the worst way for Devon to find out he's Tucker's son, Jill frets. Down the hall, Devon gripes to Abby (about the way Tucker treats his amazing mother). Abby may be ready to admit she's been biased against Tucker - but Devon wants nothing to do with him - ever.

Sure that God will take care of Kay (like He did Delia), a carefree Chloe again gushes over her guardian angel; Kevin. Billy would say the same thing (if he were here), Vikki feels the need to chirp. Delia has lots of guardian angels - not just me, Kevin's oh so humble.

At the trailer, a tormented Billy flashes back to Kay saying he'll always be her grandson - then sends Kevin a text (wanting an update). Receiving the text (from Unknown) Kevin looks 'horrified' (as noticed by Vikki and Chloe). And as Kevin scrambles n rambles, Victor's also noticed.

Tucker thinks maybe Jack's the one who feels guilty. Pointing out that he's not sitting in the dark, alone, Jack suggests Tucker call his mother. What if she dies?

The arrest won't even be on Abby's record, Mike basks in the praise of a job well done (but admits Tucker had a hand in it). Both Mike and Victor look concerned when hearing that Kevin left somewhere in a hurry.

Billy gripes about Kevin taking too long - Kevin gripes about getting the text. Yes - Vikki was there (representing YOU - as usual). Kevin planned to take the phone - until Billy threatens to just go out and get what he needs. Exasperated, Kevin marches out.

Abby and Devon take a turn at Kay's bedside. Devon doesn't know why she took such an interest in him - but is glad she did. Murphy makes a lame effort to get rid of everyone. And after Jill blabs that Mitchell's coming, they excuse themselves from the group (and in the hallway continue to wonder if Kay's will now includes Devon).

Both arriving, Mitchell assumes Tucker's there about the will. Will? Tucker's puzzled.

Next: In Kay's room, Jill answers the phone. Hello? On the other end, Billy remains silent..... Vikki laying on the couch (flirting?) Sam looks down at her - I think we need to talk about sleeping arrangements ... Tucker's upset when Devon says yes, they HAVE been in to see his mother. Business associates have more rights than her son?! Jill looks alarmed.

My Thoughts: OK - I was in the hospital a few days last week - but am now home. Spoilers were done by my wonderful stand in Tina - but I wasn't able to update any pages to let anyone know (very frustrating). The subscribers got theirs (albeit a bit late). I received a few new subscriptions while the site wasn't updated. So, if anyone signed up because they thought I wasn't updating the site anymore, please feel free to cancel the subscription and enjoy them free on the site (addresses still there tomorrow will be added to the subscribers list. Thanks for choosing to support the site by joining!) ... I'm slowly catching up - and have a few appointments this week - but will get back in the groove soon. Thanks to those who took the time to email me ..... What a lame reporter - getting no comment from Jack, he doesn't bother to catch Kay's pseudo daughter's reaction to the news of her collapse? ... Even lamer - DA Walsh. Seems he's only tough with Heather. Is he really that afraid of being on the cover of RS? And that's a real catchy headline Walsh. Too bad he didn't call their bluff. I'd love to see Nick and Phyllis' reaction - when Tucker tries to tell them what to print in THEIR magazine ... Wonder how they've managed to keep Ester away from Kay - perhaps they haven't told her yet (cause we know she'd be annoyingly hysterical)...... Odd that Jack - finding Tucker sitting behind his desk - didn't pressure him to sign Jabot over to him .... The secret of Devon being Tucker's son won't be a secret much longer - if Jill continues to talk about it so loudly .....When did Kevin become the worst liar EVER? .... Victor says the same line to both Jack and Kay (What the hell are you doing here?) Perhaps someone forgot to flip EB's cue card ...
