Today's Spoiler

Phyllis didn't return Nick's calls because she knew she'd see him here, at RS. Yeah well - he doesn't appreciate being told to 'go to hell' either.

I love with Neil!? I KNEW IT! Sophia doesn't wanna be - and Malcolm's not to blame Neil (for her idiot mistakes). Done keeping secrets, Sophia's bomb stop Malcolm at the door - Devon just found out that Tucker's his father.

Why would Devon want anything to do with Tucker - when he has a great Dad like Neil (who can't imagine what Devon thinks if this 'earth shattering' news). Devon wishes he never found out.

At the club, Cane shares a table with Jill and Lily (who grumbles that something's going on - but she has NO idea what). I do, Jill admits.

Tucker not home, Ashley leaves him a message - where'd you go? He's visiting his 'heartless' mother (who blames HIM for putting her in the hospital). I'm heartless? Kay knows Tucker's angry because she didn't look for him. You didn't look for your OWN son - You have NO right to condemn ME!

A contrite Phyllis apologizes for snapping at Nick (when seeing Avery standing so close to him). Phyllis would rather get to work (than talk about family stuff). OK - but you don't have to go it alone, Nick's not the enemy.

Sophia doesn't approve of the way Kay handled things with Devon. Reminded of the situation with Lily, Malcolm decides to call Devon. He's with Neil, Sophia thinks. Agreeing to stay with the twins, Sophia's sincerely sorry. You and me both, Malcolm exits.

It may not be Jill's 'place' to tell Lily what's going on - but before leaving she says enough to get Lily even more frustrated (but touched when Cane offers support and to watch the kids).

Back on the patio, Devon has no intention of being stuck in the middle of Tucker and Kay's battle - he's done with both of em. Getting a text from Lily, they decide to go tell her.

Tucker blames Kay for ruining his relationship with his son (while Kay talks about how quickly SHE managed to find him). She came to see Tucker - and would have told him (had he shown her an ounce of compassion). Kay knew then that she had to protect Devon. It's obvious to Tucker that Devon's just a weapon - so, it must be obvious to HIM too (a thought which devastates Kay).

At CL's, Malcolm manages to spill his coffee. Having that kinda day too, Phyllis hopes his problem's an easy fix. His marriage over, Malcolm doesn't expect much 'family support'. They have bigger problems (and Phyllis is such a good friend, he'll tell her all about it).

Seconds after Lily gets home, Neil and Devon show up - to finally fill her in. What!? You're Tucker's son!? OMG - is Lily's expected reaction. Tucker just found out last night, Sophia adds that she asked him to hold off. He didn't listen, Devon snarls - neither Tucker or his mother give a damn about anybody but themselves.

Tucker and Kay continue to argue. Don't mess with my kid. You don't have a paternal bone in your body (it's the 'cold and insensitive' TUCKER who was 'messing' with Devon - hiring then firing him). Tucker wonders what Kay's plan was - was she EVER gonna tell Devon? Brock and Murphy race in - what the hell are you doing!? Tryin' to kill her!? Out - now! Pausing at the door, Tucker points his finger - the universe punishes us for our sins - whatever Kay's got comin' she deserves.

After Murphy leaves, Kay confides to Brock - she only wanted to 'do right' by Devon (and is now afraid he won't want anything to do with her).

A defeated Tucker comes home to update Ashley (Kay found his son - and figured he didn't deserve to know the truth). He HAS found him - it's Devon. Yes - Devon Hamilton. Ashley doesn't need a description of how he 'crossed paths' with Yolanda (a groupie). Tucker can't blame Devon for 'telling me off'.

Back at Lily's, Sophia explains that she only found all this out recently - and don't jump to the conclusion that Tucker has 'no respect for family'. Devon's SEEN it (with Kay) - whom he won't let Neil defend. She had her own agenda. I'm a chess piece on a board - and Devon's done playing this stupid game.

When Phyllis brings him a coffee, Nick decides that RS has gotten too 'heavy' - we need to lighten up. Phyllis has their next story. What Malcolm just told her is 'awesome'.

No, Malcolm's not 'messing' with Phyllis - Devon's heir to two billionaire's. It's GC's own 'Princess Diaries' - and Phyllis will be done with the story before Nick's done his coffee. Not so fast - they need quotes - facts etc. Already typing, Phyllis wants the 'bare bones' online now. No - Malcolm didn't tell her in confidence - he expects it to get out. What about Devon? Nick continues to worry. At least give him and Neil a heads up. That's right - Nick's telling Phyllis 'no' (much to her chagrin).

Tucker admits Kay's right - finding his son wasn't a priority. He didn't want the hassle. What does that say about me - and TO Devon? At least Kay made sure Tucker went to a good home (while Devon grew up in foster care). Ashley shares what she knows - Yolanda was a crack addict - Devon went to live with his grandmother when she OD'd. After the grandmother died, Devon bounced around the foster care system until Neil and Dru took him in.

When Jill returns to Memorial, Murphy explains why she can't see Kay today (because Tucker snuck in and got her mad). Knowing Jill's intentions are good, Murphy's just not taking any chances.

Brock thinks there's more to Kay's story (like why she was 'deceptive'). You can't throw all this 'in someone's face', Kay reasons. But that's exactly what happened, Brock points out (and yes - it IS Kay's fault). She's damaged her relationships with Devon, Neil - Jill. Where does it stop? Brock scolds.

In the hallway, Jill and Brock chat. She's keeping her distance (and is pleased that Brock spoke up on her behalf). And when Brock puts things in perspective (that whether Kay forgives Jill or not is no reflection on HER) a grateful Jill gives him a hug.

In Kay's room, Murphy hears that Brock 'pulled no punches'. NOW will she get some rest? First, Kay must call Devon (but is saddened that he doesn't answer).

Yes, Devon IS a survivor. Ashley heard that he reached out to Yolanda (which says a lot about his character). Knowing Devon won't reach out to HIM, Tucker knows HE must make the effort.

See that? Devon ignores another call. They're both trying to get me on their side (which Neil doesn't think necessarily the case). Sophia knows Tucker will want to get to know Devon - and Lily knows Kay would want to explain herself. Devon, however, has no interest in hearing anything from people he doesn't trust.

What's Phyllis working on? Nothing. Certainly not the Devon story - because she's already finished and posted THAT. Phyllis gives a sheepish grin - while Nick gulps, his jaw twitching indicates that he's less than impressed.

Summoned by Jill, Collin came running (to the club). She has something to tell him - a decision. People won't like it - but they can go soak their heads. Missing Collin, she wants him to come live with her - at the Chancellor Estate. Collin answers with a kiss.

At CL's, Cane's all worried about Lily (whom he saw last night). Of course she didn't mention it to Malcolm (knowing he wouldn't approve). Bunch of cowards in this family, Malcolm gripes. There's too much tension - we're family, Cane's decided.

Getting no answer, Tucker sighs - what to do now. His honestly backfired. Ashley thinks that Devon's overwhelmed . Remembering Tucker's great advice (when he first met her at the airport - with Faith), she wants to help him - the way he did her ~hug~

As Brock and Murphy head out to eat, Kay opens her eyes to say she didn't mean to make such a mess of things. Then make it right, Brock gently suggests.

Devon rants n raves. He doesn't need anything Kay or Tucker have to offer (especially a bogus job) - they're like Yolanda to him. But doesn't he have questions (like how Tucker and Yolanda met)? Devon wouldn't believe Tucker - and finding Yolanda? That's a terrible idea.

Yolanda! The short order cook dings the bell. I go by 'Harmony' now - is that so hard to remember? waitress Yolanda snaps. On her way back from serving an order, she's stunned to catch sight of the RS article online (Billionaire's Long Lost Son Found).

Next: Malcolm looks horrified. This baby's coming faster than I thought, Sophia moans and groans .... You pathetic excuse for a Dad - what you've done to Devon makes me sick, Abby lashes out at Tucker ... I need to take a few days off, Yolanda asks her boss (the cook). For what? It's kinda complicated.

My Thoughts: NOW Nick realizes that RS has veered to the 'dark side' - mayhem - murder - despair? I guess that's why Chloe hasn't been working much - there's nothing left of the original concept (the newest fashion trends - luxury and travel etc.) .... What the hell are you doing? Pretty spicy language for a man of the cloth (Brock) .... Given the accuracy rate of GC's DNA labs, WHY hasn't anyone suggested getting one done anyway? They're all going on the investigative skills of Paul Williams (a guy who wasn't able to locate his own father until Chris asked him to pass the mustard at the airport - nor was he able to solve his OWN hit and run; despite regular contact with the perp; Phyllis). That said, I love how Tucker keeps saying *I* found my son (when it was Paul who did so) .... Why would Devon care how Tucker and Yolanda met? Isn't it obvious that there's no great love story there. He probably bent her over a Fender amp ... And if Devon doesn't believe Tucker, why would he believe the crackhead mother who abandoned him? Now that Devon knows he's heir to a fortune, they're gonna bring his drug addict mother to town? That IS a terrible idea. Harmony? There's nothing harmonious about Yolanda Hamilton. Even if she's clean and sober - turned over a new leaf - her history (and what she put Devon through) can't be erased. And with the lifestyle she (and any potential baby-Daddy's) were living back then, why are they so certain that Yolanda even KNOWS who fathered her baby? .... Kay's been awake for a few hours now - why hasn't anyone brushed her hair or applied some make up? Why hasn't Ester teetered in with an overnight bag containing Kay's toiletries and a robe or sumthin? Nobody even bothered to send flowers. I guess now that Kay's in the hospital, Delia's been forgotten about? Jill hasn't been to see her - neither has Chloe bothered to visit Kay .... I definitely see the resemblance between Kay and Tucker - they both have the same hair do (which'll look nice on Devon too when he grows his hair out) ... Has Phyllis forgotten that Nick's her BOSS? Telling him to 'go to hell' is one thing (cause it was outside work) - but he clearly told her to hold off on publishing the Devon story .... Why are the uber-wealthy McCall's living in a 2 room apartment? Does Ashley actually cook meals in that bar sized mini kitchen? Guess the family Thanksgiving isn't gonna be at THEIR place. Maybe it'll be at Abby's (one 5 foot person living alone in a mansion) .... So, Kay didn't tell Tucker that she'd found his son - because he wasn't nice to her? She determined that her new grandson needed 'protection'? (too bad Tucker didn't use protection 20 odd years ago). Doesn't Kay know that he's tough - a 'survivor'? What does Devon need protection from anyway? Oodles of money?
