Today's Spoiler

At the club, to pack up Collin's stuff, Jill insists he's moving back to the mausoleum. Collin promises to be worthy of this second chance. Jack comes along - to needle Collin (assuming his recent disappearance had nothing to do with absconding with his grandkids). Hoping this stuff about Devon isn't effecting Kay's recovery, Jack's not impressed to hear it's actually putting 'the fight' back in her.

In hospital bed, Kay grumbles at Murphy and Brock (and the doctor asking her 'asinine' questions). She can rest at home - hire a mess of nurses. I need to get OUT of here! Kay has a lot of things to fix.

At Tucker's, Abby reads the tabloid headlines - denying she leaked the news. Tucker calls to warn Devon (about the press).

But Devon's busy - wondering what Yolanda's doing at his door. She HAD to come. Of course - now that he's rich - you with your hand out, Devon scoffs. Nothing's changed has it Mom?

Sophia waddles between a nurse and Malcolm. Oh God - her water just broke. And as Sophia's lowered into a wheelchair, Neil offers to wait in the lounge. But no - Malcolm points to himself and Neil - however this plays out, the father should be in the room when the baby's born.

Jill asks Jack how Ashley feels about her new adult stepson. Jack has no idea - her VM is full. Hopefully this drama doesn't distract Tucker (from finalizing the Jabot sale). As Jack goes to take a call, Jill sends Collin up to the suite - so she can pester Jack about keeping her on at Jabot. But a noncommittal 'we'll see' is all the reassurance she gets.

Sophia in a hospital bed - has Malcolm and Neil coaching her on either side. When the doctor arrives, Sophia insists Tucker be called - he's like a father to her (and the baby's Godfather)!!

Back at Tucker's, Abby can't reach Devon either. Ashley's not surprised to hear that RS (Phyllis) broke the story. And when Abby starts in on Tucker, Ashley snaps at her 'spoiled little brat'. Abby scoffs at Tucker issuing a press release (with the intention of protecting Devon). Too bad all this fatherly concern is years too late. Give it a rest! Tucker's had just about enough.

Still blocking the front door, Devon basically tells Yolanda that he's not getting any money - from Tucker or Kay. Yolanda denies she's there for money (why would she wait this long?). Why IS she there then? Yolanda regrets not being there for Devon. She can't change the past - but she can answer questions. Just hear me out. Stepping inside, Yolanda takes in her son's apartment.

At the mausoleum, Collin's unpacked - and Jill's got champagne on ice. With everyone at the hospital, the pair are happy to be celebrating alone. Pop goes the cork.

As Kay takes her meds and instructions, Murphy assures the doctor that she'll have peace and quiet. Kay can't wait to get back to her own home.

Nice place, Yolanda's proud of her 'baby'. You had nothing to do with it, Devon quickly reminds that she put him in foster care. Yolanda's only care was drugs back then - Tucker had already rejected her - she wouldn't use a kid to trap him.

Hanging up, Tucker's off to the hospital. Abby thinks he should just lay low - it's what Devon would want. How close ARE the two of you? Ashley's suspicious. We're friends, Abby huffs. Tucker insists that throwing the press a bone will slow them down. Not for long - Devon's gonna be stressed. Abby then rolls her eyes when Ashley goes along with whatever Tucker decides. OK - the webcast will take place as soon as he's done at the hospital.

With a mighty push and a mightier squeal, Sophia delivers her baby. Positioned on either side, Malcolm and Neil praise the new Mama on a job well done. The baby now cradled in Sophia's arms, Malcolm's smile fades - as she beams up at Neil first - then, secondly - him.

Told it'll be a while before he can see Sophia, Tucker's alarmed to find Kay's room empty - where's my mother!? He's disappointed to learn she's been discharged. Meanwhile, Neil and Malcolm watch Sophia gush over her perfect little baby.

The champagne n cuddling come to a screeching halt when Jill and Collin hear Kay come in. Grabbing the bottle and glasses, Collin escapes - while Jill straightens her hair to greet Kay (with Murphy and Brock). It's wonderful! she lies. And as Kay's fussed over on the sofa, Jill hisses at Collin (to meet her at CL's) - then takes a gulp of champagne before bringing Kay the phone. All are then told to 'get the hell out' (so the cranky Kay can call her lawyer).

Getting off the elevator at Tucker's, Jack pauses to flashback to their deal (and the handshake that guaranteed him Jabot). Welcomed in by Ashley, Jack's briefcase holds the contract that'll put everything right in his world. Except Billy not being there, Ashley reminds. A call to Traci will have to wait - Tucker's doing a press conference (more news which worries Jack).

Arriving with gifts a plenty, Tucker gushes over the early but perfect baby (who'll be named Moses - after Sophia's father). Oh, how proud he'd be. After Malcolm and Neil give them some privacy, Tucker mentions them both Winters being there. Sophia's only concern is her baby - look at us - we both have sons.

In the hallway, Neil thanks Malcolm for including him - knowing it couldn't be easy. He's troubled that Tucker's so eager to be there for this baby - but not for his own.

Devon gets it - he grew up fatherless because Yolanda was pissed that Tucker moved on to the next groupie. The anonymous note? That was just a way to mess with Tucker's head (like he did hers). Congratulations - it worked! And Devon got NOTHING! Yeah - he talked to Tucker. Yolanda wants to help them. Not a good time, Devon hands over some cash (which the 'clean and sober' Yolanda declines). She has a lot to make up for ... Arriving (babbling about the press conference), Abby's introduced to 'Harmony' (Yolanda changed her name when she changed her life). Nice to meet you Abby, Yolanda exits - telling Devon she'll 'be in touch'. Outside, she types into her phone - Tucker called press conference.

A crowd gathered at the club, McCall's PR director introduces his boss to the podium. The press have cameras, mikes and notebooks in hand as Tucker (Ashley at his side), explains that he and Devon just learned they're father and son. He had a brief relationship with Devon's mother in the late 80's (which didn't work out). Tucker then talks about the unsigned note - his search turned up nothing - he went on with his life. Yesterday, he learned about his child. He and his wife are happy to welcome this fine young man into their family. Meanwhile, watching online, Devon's angry when Tucker raves about his talent (I'm so gifted you fired me!). OMG! Abby realizes they're step siblings. No - NEIL is Devon's father. And when Tucker expresses hopes of having a relationship with his son, Devon shouts at the laptop - got to hell! ~slam~ You're life's gonna change whether you like it or not, Abby cautiously points out.

Back at the club, a persistent reporter talks about history repeating itself - then mentions Kay (who's stroke he's rumoured to have caused). Tucker's happy to report she's convalescing at home. Watching at home (with Brock and Murphy) Kay wonders how he knew that.

Another reporter asks if Tucker regained control of Jabot by suing his own mother. Huh - Tucker taps the mike - is this thing not working? He clearly said he'd be talking about Devon - not his mother. The reporter will take that as a 'yes'. Tucker claims it was merely a proceeding to straighten out a misunderstanding. Jabot was restored to his control. Is Jabot back on the market? the press persist. Praising Ashley (and her great products), Tucker's always open to offers. On the CL's patio, Jack's another one furiously slamming his laptop shut.

Back in Sophia's room, Malcolm's sitting shotgun, Neil beside him. The moment you first see your child you instantly fall in love, Sophia now knows. And when the nurse comes to take cheek swabs for the DNA test, Neil and Malcolm eyeball one another.

When Jill finally meets Collin at CL's, she assumes he already knows what she's gonna say. She had no idea Kay would be home so soon. Jill wants to be with Collin so badly - but doesn't want Kay to die. Understanding completely, Collin will figure something out ~kiss~

The messenger waiting, Murphy and Brock still hovering, Kay signs her will - recognizing the grandson who wants nothing to do with her.

Still at home, Devon's on the phone - wishing he was in Europe with Roxy - away from this insanity. Spotting the paparazzi outside, Abby (an expert in avoiding them), leads Devon out the back way.

Calling an end to the press conference, Tucker hopes they'll respect his family's privacy - give him and his son a chance to get to know one another. Ashley'd like to ask Tucker about being 'open to offers' (re: Jabot) - but he's summoned away. With the same subject on his mind, an angry Jack makes a beeline for Ashley - wondering what the hell Tucker means (being 'open to offers'). He's not gonna back out of our deal is he?! Ashley tries to keep Jack calm - this isn't the right time. Jack won't let Tucker screw him over - we HAD a deal. Jack will 'calm down' when he has a contract (signed by the man he doesn't trust). As the press snap photos of Jack marching out, they then follow Tucker and Ashley. 'Tucker', Yolanda quietly calls out. I said no more questions, Tucker barks without look at her - or slowing down.

Next: Did you get a hold of a phone - and call my daughter? Victor confronts Billy ... At G-worm, Collin overhears Gloria (who's cornered Ronan) I think that man has some deep dark secrets that he wants to keep hidden .... Genevieve gasps in fright - as Collin sidles up to grab her throat. Hello sweetheart, he whispers menacingly in her ear.

My Thoughts: Why are Jack and Devon taking out their anger on their fragile laptops? ... Since Jack knows Tucker's not a man of his word, why wouldn't he have the contract signed BEFORE testifying on his behalf? .... Sophia's baby IS perfect - adorable. Nice that someone actually had a normal delivery - in a hospital as opposed to an elevator or being stranded in a snowstorm (of course - that's where the normalcy ends - as not many new mothers have two potential fathers, brothers, waiting to find out who's on the hook for the next 18 years). Hers was also the cleanest delivery ever - no blood - no messy afterbirth - Sophia barely broke a sweat .... Yolanda finds Devon so grown up - so handsome. In all these years she never once Googled him? Surely there'd be photos of him (since he's such an up n comer in the music industry) - not to mention his brief yet meteoric rise in the business world ... If Sophia's water just broke, shouldn't someone be hurrying over with a mop? .... How can Yolanda 'help the two of them' - or possibly answer Devon's questions and 'explain some things' if she was on drugs during her time with Tucker? And if changing her name to go along with her new life, couldn't she pick something more generic - NOT an 80's rock groupie nickname? ... She claims to have a 'steady job' (but her boss made it clear she'd be fired if she took the time off) ... Why would Tucker feel the need to announce Kay's release from hospital during his press conference? Paparazzi camped outside her door won't be good for her already high stress levels. Odd that no one from RS was covering Tucker's press conference (since they (or rather Phyllis) were the ones who first broke the story that Devon was Tucker's son).
