Kevin's photos of a healthy but tired Delia are appreciated - but not his tantrum when hearing that 'stupid' Billy risked it all - by going to visit Kay (and peek in on Delia). The 'idiotic' part is that Billy must now trust Cane to keep his mouth shut.
At Vikki's, a nosy Victor comes across her divorce papers. She WAS going to divorce Billy, but then a silly thing happened - the phone rang. Musta been one helluva call, Victor demands details.
At G-worm, the hostess with the mostest is dismissed by Jack - then even more rudely by Jill (when she arrives). Taking a seat (much to Jack's annoyance), Jill's decided that it'd be foolish for him to fire either her - or Genevieve.
At home, Lily raves about Sophia and Moses to Cane - but the real reason for her call is to invite him over to visit the twins. Now's not a good time, Cane's at the park to meet Ronan (who's badgered to crack the codes in Collin's ledgers). Ronan will work every angle to bust Collin - and Cane's to take care of Genevieve (who's home in a few days).
No sooner has Genevieve wheeled her luggage into her home - than Collin sneaks up to wrap his hand around her throat; hello sweetheart, he hisses menacingly.
Gloria couldn't help overhearing - and thinks Jill and the 'hated' Genevieve working together is crazy. Jill can barely tolerate Glo and manages to eat there. Dismissing Gloria yet again, Jack wonders if Jill CAN work with Genevieve. It'd be selfish to deprive Jabot of Gen's has talent - on the road, Jill's been receiving outstanding reports. Thinking Jill 'obvious', Jack reminds that he doesn't own Jabot - yet. And where's he off to in such a hurry? Genevieve's back, Jack leaves Jill looking glum.
Back at the park, Cane's frustrated that his visit (with Lily and the twins) will have to wait. Genevieve should be home now, Ronan reports. I'm on it! an agitated Cane speeds off.
Her throat released, Genevieve finds it 'interesting' that Collin's there (instead of in bed with Jill). Couldn't wait to get your hands on me, she taunts. The only thing she 'stole' from Collin was is heart - years ago. Collin accuses her of locking him in the cellar - to loot his accounts. It's diabolical! Genevieve boasts that she DID get the 'better' of Collin. She then updates tat Ethan's the one who blew the safe open. The housekeeper saw him leave with the ledgers (and Malloy). I'm the least of your problems honey, Genevieve's delighted.
Hearing about the call, Victor agrees - it was probably just a wrong number. But it had this 'weird' effect on Vikki (who couldn't sign the papers). It might be Billy - some day. Of course Victor thinks it 'crazy' (after all Billy's put her through).
Continuing to scold Billy, Kevin's even more horrified to hear that Billy went to 'check up on his wife'- and called her (Yes, on the 'emergency' phone). She didn't know it was me. And though Billy doesn't care what Kevin thinks, he's told anyway. You WANT to get caught! he accuses.
Kevin knows Billy hates Victor (for roping him into this insane arrangement) - and himself (for whatever Billy did that gave Victor power over his life). Surely Billy's wondering if it's not best that it all came out. Billy won't let it come out. He KNOWS Delia's the priority here. So why is he taking these chances? People in Billy's life are hurting. He wants to hold his daughter - be there for his grandma - tell his wife not to give up on him. Billy KNOWS he ruined everything - he's only there so that Delia gets well.
Back at Vikki's, Victor knows Vikki was committed to her marriage - it's hard to let go. Vikki praises him for not choking on the words (or ordering her to sign the papers). Closure is a good thing - but don't rush it, he advises. With a hug, Vikki thanks her 'Papa' for understanding - and not pushing. Over her shoulder, Victor glares at the wedding photo on the mantel.
Visiting Genevieve, Cane announces that he blew the safe open - and asks for her help in busting Collin (by telling him what the ledgers are all about). Sorry - but Genevieve has no knowledge on what was in the safe - but wanting Cane to succeed, promises to keep this between them. Good luck son. On cue, Cane gets a call from Collin - who wants to see him - NOW.
After ordering a cake (for a very special occasion), Genevieve's joined by Jack (who's incredibly impressed with her accomplishments on the road) ~kiss~ And when Genevieve wants to celebrate Jack buying Jabot, he's not so sure that's gonna happen now.
Huh? Jill didn't order OJ. It's a screwdriver (which Glo figures she might need - now that Genevieve's back). No, Jill's not insecure about her job - or her man. Collin loathes Genevieve. Love/hate relationships are the hardest to get over, Glo opines in parting (leaving Jill to leave a message for Collin - wondering where he is - and why he's not with her).
The twins playing on the floor, Lily wonders what's keeping Cane.
In the park, Collin's told that his papers were given to the authorities (who can't break the code). Cane better give up on his revenge. His brother and sister dead - his kids almost kidnapped, Cane's tired of Collin walking around like he's 'untouchable'. Collin HAS paid - he thinks if his dead kids every day! Stay away from my family! Cane warns - then leaves with a threatening glare.
Apologizing for being late, Cane claims some last minute stuff came up. He then gets down on the floor to play with the twins (as a smiling Lily watches).
Back at Genevieve's. Jack gripes that his brother in law is screwing him out of their deal - telling the press that he's open to offers (on Jabot). Jack won't be 'pushed aside'. Ashley insists the deal's still on - but Jack doesn't trust Tucker. Genevieve thinks it'll go through (if Tucker wants his marriage to last). As Genevieve gives Jack a kiss, a loud shattering noise is attributed to the butter fingered Merna. Suggesting they go out to celebrate, Genevieve insists on G-worm (which stocks her favourite champagne).
At G-worm, Gloria pesters Ronan (for not prioritizing her 'kidnapping'). She thinks 'that man' (Collin) has deep, dark secrets. As luck would have it, Collin's there - and not too happy about Gloria's cozy chat with Detective Malloy.
Unpacking his groceries, Billy complains that there's no mustard. Must he go get it himself? Deal with it - Kevin's leaving - try not to be an idiot. Kevin's met at the door by Victor. Wanna go on a mustard run?? Guess not. Victor's there to see if Billy's been behaving himself. Smooth sailing, Kevin assures. Better be, Victor growls - for Delia's sake. Billy's stuck - snug as a bug in a rug. Thanked for his loyalty, Kevin says 'anything for Delia' - then leaves Victor to asks the joke-cracking, arrogant jerk - if he called Vikki.
Billy thinks Victor paranoid - Vikki doesn't know he's in town - or that he's the donour. As Billy showers, Victor sneaks back in to snoop around.
At CL's, Kevin's nervous and awkward when bumping into Vikki (who praises his devotion - being there for Delia AND Chloe). Kevin knows she's thinking about Billy. Yeah, and the man Vikki married wouldn't walk out. She's looking for an omen, a sign that she'll see him again. Realizing that's 'dumb' - Vikki needs to accept that it's over.
Ronan's ringing phone excuses him from all of Gloria's 'interesting theories'. That leaves Collin to needle Gloria (who's saved when Jill arrives). Taking a table, Collin relays his visit with Genevieve - and is reminded that losing her (and hooking up with Jill) is the smartest thing he's done. Collin has an idea - that he hopes will appeal to Jill.
Joining Cane and the kids on the floor, Lily talks of the Halloween costumes she's bought. Getting a text from Ronan, Cane has to leave in a hurry. With apologies, he'll make it up to them. Lily's left looking puzzled.
Kevin gives Vikki some advice - he's never liked Billy - but SHE'S the only one who ever brought out the good side. Don't force yourself to get over him - listen to your gut. Thanks - Vikki will do that.
Phone in hand, Victor sees that Billy dialed Vikki's number. And to help Billy's impulse control problem, takes his laptop and phone. Once the procedure's done, Billy's to leave town - in freedom - or back in the cell Victor took him from. Victor's NOT bothered that Vikki might want Billy back (then hands him the divorce papers). They aren't fake - ask Baldwin. Behave yourself - or else, Victor leaves Billy reeling.
Back at G-worm, Gloria admires whatever's in a large pink box - oh my goodness. Meanwhile, Collin wonders if Jill would go back to Australia with him. On cue, Jack and Genevieve arrive; smiling and kissing.
Holding both twins, Lily grumbles about Cane leaving early - wonder why.
At the park, Cane tells Ronan that he spoke with both his parents today. Ronan couldn't break the code - and worse, the papers expected from Australia aren't coming. Cane won't let Collin hurt his family again.
Next: Collin has a tight hold of Genevieve - as he hisses in her face - you EVER use that code and it'll be the last thing you ever do .... Lily confronts Cane - I just really feel like you're hiding something again .... At Devon's - You still don't recognize me, Yolanda says. Why should I? Tucker's puzzled. I'm Devon's MOTHER!
My Thoughts: Vikki's not gonna notice that her divorce papers are missing (and assume that Victor took them)? ... 'Amazing what you can suck up if you have to', Jill sneers at Gloria (is she talking about G-worm's food - or Collin?) ... What's 'crazy' is Jill insulting the woman serving her food ... 'Merna' (Genevieve's housekeeper) is 'discreet'? That's an understatement - she didn't appear when Gloria had to meet the cops when the alarm went off - and she didn't make her presence known during the time Collin and Glo were locked in the cellar. She didn't even come out of hiding when a small explosive was detonated in the wine cellar. Yes - very discreet indeed... Having heard the shattering of glass, shouldn't Jack or Genevieve have bothered to make sure the butter fingered housekeeper's not injured? .. It's breakfast time - but Jack's already drinking - and Genevieve's off for some early morning champagne - and Jill's havin' a Screwdriver .... Sorry - not much time today - off to a funeral viewing.
