While Lily's leaving Cane a message (wondering what's going on) - he's at the park - insisting Ronan keep trying (to crack the codes). Having sacrificed his family, Cane won't stop until Collin's off the streets.
Australia?! Yes - won't Jill consider coming to Collin's great country? When Genevieve saunters over (with Jack), Jill tattles that the unhinged witch locked Collin in her wine cellar. And as Jack wonders if that's true, Gloria interrupts with the boxed cake - in the shape of a safe - isn't that clever. Denying she sent it, a grinning Genevieve assumes someone else is on to Collin's secrets.
Knocking on Devon's door, Tucker shows no recognition - when Yolanda answers the door.
On the CL's patio, Neil tells an inquisitive tabloid reporter to 'beat it'. Devon's sick of everything - including Yolanda/Harmony. Your mother's back in GC? Neil's stunned.
If Collin weren't a gentleman, he'd stuff the cake (that all are pondering) in Genevieve's face. Oh no - Glo's still cleaning up after Sharon and Phyllis' catfight. With Jack now curious, Genevieve admits Collin may have somehow gotten trapped in the cellar as she was leaving town. Jill lays it all out - messages from Collin's phone - the flowers - the plane ticket. Did you actually DO all thest things? Jack wonders. All but admitting it, Genevieve's surprised that her harmless pranks turned Jill into a mass of insecurity. Jill then gloats that her man has asked her to go to Australia. Planning to 'bug out'? What's THAT about Collin? Genevieve snarls through her pasted on smile.
The FBI isn't giving up - but right now, Ronan doesn't have enough evidence to bust Collin. Cane will go check his Mom's for evidence - while Ronan heads back to see if Collin's still at G-worm. Jogging by, Lily's surprised to see Cane at the park (as he said he'd been called in to work).
Back on the patio, Devon tells Neil that Harmony didn't seem strung out - but he's been let down before. She claims she's turned her life around - and didn't take the money Devon offered. Neil won't let him change the subject - Harmony, Tucker, Kay - they want a relationship with him - face it head on.
Letting Tucker in, Harmony informs that Devon's roommate let her in. Have we met? Tucker's puzzled. You STILL don't recognize me? I'm Devon's MOTHER! You knew me as Candy. Of course - wow - Candy. When Harmony reminds that they last saw one another at a Sound Garden concert, Tucker recalls the show - but not Harmony (who explains that he gave her cash - told her to get her pregnancy 'taken care of'). Does THAT ring a bell?
Devon knows the problem's not goin anywhere - but he doesn't have to wallow in it. Neil suggests he find a way ro coexist with Tucker and Harmony. Leaving arm in arm, Neil would be happy to come over and listen to the new music Devon's been working on.
'Mick' has NO idea what Harmony's talking about. If he knew she were pregnant, he'd have stepped up. Turns out, Rueben (the road manager) gave Harmony money (saying he talked to Tucker; who swears he was never told). Harmony's bitter - she was never treated like she had feelings. Neglecting Devon and turning to drugs - is THAT Tucker's fault too? Concluding that the 'blame game' isn't getting them anywhere, Tucker wonders - what do we do right now?
Turns out they didn't need Cane at Jimmy's after all - but he can't visit the twins right now. Answering Ronan's call, Cane will have to call him back (leading Lily to wonder if he's hiding something from her).
Gloria quickly gives Ronan an earful with his menu - Genevieve admitted to the wine cellar fiasco - and Collin's talking about leaving the country. Back at Collin's table, Genevieve's just fine with them both leaving. Jill cuts a piece of cake - and with a 'bon appetite', seems about to shove it in Genevieve's face. And as Collin follows Genevieve for a 'word in private', Jill hopes Jack realizes he's involved with a 'head case'. Ronan watches with interest - as Genevieve warns Collin that the walls are closing in. She has the code - and the power (such an aphrodesiac). Grabbing Genevieve roughly, Collin warns that if she uses that code, it'll be the last thing she ever does. Jack appears to yank Collin off - don't you ever grab her that way again! And as Jill races over too, Ronan watches from behind his menu.
Lily WANTS to believe Cane (that there's 'nothing to worry about') - but he's been asking for time with the twins - and now he's too busy (running mysterious errands). Lily can't ignore the feeling she's being lied to. Cane swears that every secret he's ever kept - is to keep her and the babies safe. Please believe that.
As Jill hang off Jack's arm, Jack has a firm grip on Collin. Genevieve's an incredible woman who's moving ON with her life. NO ONE will bully her! Collin used to feel the same way - he was a fool - and now, Jack is too. Ronan appears - how we doin' here guys? Having gotten his point across, Jack ushers Genevieve out. Heading back to his table, Ronan WILL be keeping an eye on Collin (who wants an answer from Jill - to his important question; will she go to Australia with him?).
As Harmony admires a framed photo of Neil and Devon, Tucker suggests they put their issues aside - to focus on what Devon needs. He WON'T 'pressure him - but won't walk away from his son. Don't mess with Devon's success, Harmony demands - let HIM come to YOU. Neil and Devon are stunned to find the pair there. It's been a while, Neil says to an uncomfortable Harmony. And as Devon's asking them to leave (as he has things to do with his Dad), Tucker asks to be heard. Outside, Neil thinks he and Harmony have some things to discuss.
Sorry - but Jill's answer is no. 'Sweetheart's' attempted kidnapping of the twins is still fresh in her mind. Collin hoped he'd redeemed himself - his time in GC has run out. But - he can't leave Jill behind - his life would never be the same. At a nearby table, Ronan continues to watch with interest.
Back at the park, Lily resumes her run - see you when I see you. She pauses to ask one more time (if there's anything she should worry about). Trust me, Cane implores - then is left alone to sigh and shake his head.
At CL's, Neil never thought he'd see Yolanda/Harmony in GC. Reminding that she stole from him, Neil wonders why she never went after Tucker for money. Harmony had her reasons - and her only concern now is Devon. Questioning her maternal concern, Neil reminds that she called the authorities - had Anna taken from Tyra (we almost lost her forever). She pawned one kid off on Tyra - another to the system. Tearing up, Harmony's well aware she screwed up. But - she never intended to hurt her son (or Neil) - she cared about both of them.
Devon doesn't appreciate Tucker putting all the blame on Harmony (claiming he would have been there if he only knew). Tucker's also 'ashamed' to admit he DIDN'T recognize Harmony. And as Tucker continues to blame Harmony, Devon points out how easily Paul found him (why did Kay succeed where HE failed?) Tucker admits that (on some level) he didn't want to find his son.
Now at home, Genevieve's in awe of Jack. No one's EVER stood up for her - especially to Collin. Yes, she locked him in the wine cellar. Jack loves how fearless she is - and would defend Gen again in a heartbeat. How DID she end up with a guy like Collin anyway? He swept the young Genevieve off her feet - she now realizes how twisted it was (thanks to Jack; who's showing her how to be treated right). Get used to it, Jack says with a passionate kiss.
Having his own childhood baggage, Tucker realizes he's guilty of everything he blamed Kay for. He kicks himself every day for not providing the upbringing Devon deserved (especially when he had so much to offer). We coulda been close. Holding the door open, an emotional Devon accepts the apology - but there's nothing else to say.
When Neil wonders what else Harmony hopes to get out of this visit, she denies she's there for a hand out (as she has a job in Milwaulkee). She's got a room - and is off to make some calls. Have a safe trip home, Neil snarls (as 'Yolanda' hurries out). When Lily arrives (passing Harmony), Neil updates her (that he doesn't believe a word that comes out of 'that lady's' mouth).
Jack and Genevieve's kissing heats up. Off comes the jacket - and the tie - then Genevieve's clothing.
Still at G-worm, Collin's enjoying the cake. Jill can't leave now. But after Delia's transplant? Collin persists. Getting a call from Lauren, Jill leaves to tend to business (with a kiss). Behind the bar, a watchful Gloria meets Collin's stare.
At the door, Tucker mopes about the visit being cut short. Devon's 'not interested' (in getting to know him). He just doesn't want a relationship with Tucker (who thanks him for listening). On either side of the door, neither father or son look happy.
In an alleyway, Harmony gets into her old car - puts aside her burger to call (her sponsor?) She couldn't get to a meeting so is checking in. No one trusts me, she mopes. Her son? Lost cause. He wants nothing to do with me. She's still 'holdin' on strong' - getting through the days - hours - minutes.
Back at CL's, Lily's (with Neil) and not OK - it's Cane - he's hiding things again.
At the park, Cane tells Ronan that Lily's getting suspicious. Collin's leaving town, Ronan updates on their 'break'. A Judge granted a wire tap - any calls Collin gets (or makes) are patched through to Ronan. On cue, the phone rings. Collin says that Gloria's not the only problem. Genevieve must be eliminated (along with incriminating evidence). She can't see it coming.
Unaware, Genevieve and Jack are making out on her sofa.
Next: Tucker instructs Harmony. I'm gonna ask you to leave town - today ..... Is that um... Sophia asks (a nervous Neil and Malcolm there). Yes - it's the test results, the doctor confirms - they're as medically conclusive as can possibly be .... Lily has Cane's phone in her hand. You're calling your father!? she's clearly NOY happy.
My Thoughts: What's with Harmony's glasses? She really IS looking at the world through rose coloured glasses - literally. Since she's obviously broke - and living in her car, you'd think she'd have something a bit more economic; easier on gas - must say though, considering it's her HOME, the interior is immaculate. She might wanna put the tell tale pillow in the trunk at least ... How exactly does Genevieve (and Jack for that matter) see locking people in her wine cellar a 'simple, harmless, little prank'? It's KIDNAPPING (though it's hard to feel sorry for Collin - who's a would be kidnapper himself). Good that Collin's attempted CRIME is still 'fresh' in Jill's mind - but other than declining moving to Australia with him, she seems to have forgotten all about it. And when was the last time she even visited the twins? Yeah Jill - JACK'S the one hooked up with a 'head case' (you're hooked up with a swell guy) THAT said - Jill's right. Hasn't Jack had enough of unstable women? Post crazy Patty, his last girlfriend was a psychiatrist - and now he's with a woman who desperately in NEED of one ... How did Ronan get a Judge to OK wire-tapping Collin's phone (since his status as a 'diplomat' absolved him of all his other crimes)? ... Ronan doesn't have 'enough' evidence to bust Collin? He doesn't have ANY evidence on him (other than some dusty bank ledgers that no one can 'crack') ... Trust me - trust me, Cane tells Lily - never mind that he came into town with a fake identity - then faked his death and posed as a ghost. Who can blame Lily for being suspicious? (You'd think she'd wanna take a shower - between her jog - and coffee at CL's. Just sayin) ... How can Tucker not recognize 'Candy'? How many African American groupies did he sleep with? ... Harmony did her share of 'suffering' too? Boo hoo - when she was in need of a fix? .... Understatement of the day goes to Harmony - she and Tucker have lived 'very different lives'. Ya think? She a strung out crackhead - him a billionaire businessman. What 'new stuff' does Devon have for Neil to listen to? He doesn't actually make music himself - and has no new artists on his 'label' (which he's rejected anyway) ... Thanks Hunter - has she NOT seen the news? Does she really think Devon would be OK with her leaving his estranged parents alone in his apartment? Couldn't she have called him to confirm whether it was OK. And if the press is pestering Devon at CL's, why aren't they camped outside his home? They're missing one helluva photo op. And, for some reason, RS continues to ignore the story they themselves first broke.
