Today's Spoiler

Wednesday, October 26th

Joining Sam at the club's bar, Nick hears that Avery needed to see Sharon - alone. Hmm - is that good or bad? Arriving seconds later, Adam makes a beeline for the 'I'm so worried about Sharon' club (which he deems a waste of time and bar stools).

At the prison, Avery explains that she filed a motion - there was a hearing this morning. She wanted to see how it went before mentioning it to Sharon. So - how'd it go?

It went really well, Heather's pleased that she beat Avery at the hearing. At CL's, she and Paul then discuss the lack of progress in the Jenkins case - Ronan - then Chance (who Heather doesn't really expect to call her - but is upset about anyway).

The paperwork all done on Collin's case, Ronan tries to get rid of Chance (who can take him being an 'ungrateful jerk' - but don't be that way to my Mom).

In Delia's room, the doctor reports that she's recovering right on schedule (much to Chloe's relief). Oh how she loves Kevin - and there's only one way to show him. She then calls Vikki - with a favour to come over to discuss.

Wrapping up their BofN work, Victor reaches for papers on the table. That's personal! Vikki barks - then admits they're divorce papers (which she hasn't signed yet).

At the trailer, Billy notices that Kevin's acting weirder than usual. Everything's good with Delia - but now there's no reason for Victor to let Billy stay, Kevin points out.

Sharon's disappointed to hear that the audio tape will be heard in court. This is SO bad. Trust me, Avery implores - but won't reveal what she has up her sleeve. This isn't over! she assures.

Adam scoffs at the idea of riding to Sharon's rescue - he'll leave that to Sam and Nick (who then lists all Adam's done to stand by Sharon - be the man she thought you were). Adam was a fool in love - it was smoke and mirrors. Nick hopes not - Sharon needs him to be that man - step up and clear her. And everyone lives happily ever after - except for the black sheep half brother? You're always gonna be that, Nick walks off - leaving Adam to take a call from Avery (who needs to see him right away).

Back at Vikki's - she feels the universe is telling her not to sign the divorce papers. She wants to move on - but isn't ready. Victor claims the marriage was a mistake from the beginning - it's the right thing. And as Chloe arrives, Victor (who's told how well Delia's doing) pauses on the front step to make a call - it's time to get rid of Billy.

As Billy packs his bags, Kevin scolds him for running (instead of coming clean with his wife). Everyone's better off, Billy's not afraid of Victor (but he'll make Vikki's life a living hell). And it won't be if you leave!? You really ARE stupid, Kevin marches out.

Refusing to go with Chance (to dinner at Mom's), Ronan HAD a Mom - a good one (and Nina can't replace her). Chance rants about him taking half his liver then dumping them. What the hell is his problem - is he really such an ass? Yes, Ronan's an ass - give Mom the message too!

Still at CL's, Heather admits she wants to be with Chance. Paul's at a loss for sage advice. S'OK - Heather needs to figure it out by herself. After Paul leaves, Heather's delighted to get a call from Chance (even more delighted that he wants to meet).

At the trailer, Victor hands Billy his passport - the driver's waiting outside - the private jet awaits. On the sofa, beer in hand, Billy announces that he's not going anywhere - and there's nothing Victor can do about it.

Nick finds Sharon worrying (and hears that Avery's motion to suppress the audio tape was denied). What am I gonna do? she frets.

Meanwhile, Avery's telling Adam the same news - the jury needs to hear the rest of the audio tape. She can't tell the DA to drag the lake (without tattling that Adam threw it there - UNLESS he agrees to waive attorney/client confidentiality).

Heather meets Chance in Ronan's office. Exchanging pleasantries, Heather takes blame for the way they left things. Chance knows it never would have worked between them. He's so thankful she saw that - getting together would be a mistake. Her smile gone, Heather disagrees. No - it wouldn't have been.

Vikki and Chloe are at CL's - setting up a karaoke machine. Kevin saved Delia's life. Yes, Chloe's sure about this (though Vikki wonders if she's confusing gratitude with other feelings).

Not budging from the couch, Billy suggests Victor take a vacation. He's NOT sticking to their agreement. His daughter's fine - and Billy's prepared to tell Vikki what happened in Asia (sure she'll forgive him). But it was more than a little incident. Victor hands a tablet to Billy - does this photo jog your memory?

Avery persists with Adam - is it really so hard to do the right thing? When he again mentions Sam and Nick (as saviors), Avery WOULD feel sorry for Adam - if he wasn't so willing to take it out on her client. You will never be healed if you don't do this! Yeah - I'm 'finished', she marches off.

How's Sharon supposed to 'accept' spending 30 years in a cell - with Nick controlling access to her daughter?! Nick's tried to be supportive (for the kids) - but can't get past Sharon faking her death. No, he doesn't think she 'deserves to be here' - but he can't be her savior anymore. Good luck, Nick leaves when Sam arrives. Something wrong? Everything! Sharon's near tears.

Welcoming Paul to the mausoleum, Nina isn't happy to hear that Heather may have changed her mind about Chance. Don't take this the wrong way - but Nina hopes it doesn't happen.

Back in Ronan's office, Chance lets Heather down easy. She's a terrific woman - who'll find Mr Right. She already did - regrets letting him get away - and was hoping for another chance with the man she loves. Realizing she's humiliated herself (as Chance assures 'it's over'), Heather runs out.

Vikki greets Kevin when he arrives at CL's. You have no idea how grateful Chloe is - but you're about to find out! Putting a sign around his neck (that labels him 'Bill'), Chloe sashays around serenading him ('marry me Bill'). Needless to say, Kevin's stunned.

At the club, Adam watches Heather hit the bar - hard. As she's on her second straight shot of vodka, he saunters over - mind if I join you counselor?

As Kevin sputters, Chloe declares her love - will you marry me? Yes, Kevin answers (as they kiss to applause).

Interesting isn't it - or rather, disturbing, Victor gloats. Putting the tablet face down, Billy calls Victor a bastard. If your daughter saw that .... So - what'll it be? Is Billy gonna stay and ruin Vikki's life? Or get the hell out of GC for good?

On the CL's patio, Nick startles Avery (who's cleaning up her mess). No, she's not OK - she's terrible. And in tears, Avery leaps into an impulsive embrace Nick wasn't exactly offering.

Sam (who tries to see the good in everyone) sees nothing but evil in 'wild card' Adam. Sharon knows he's part wounded little boy - part vindictive man. Adam wants to do the right thing - but he's alone - and feels the world's against him (which makes him most dangerous).

Back at the club, Heather polishes off another drink - and is about to leave when Adam encourages her to stay - have another one - on me.

As Paul's off taking a call, Nina greets Chance with a hug. Both are surprised when Ronan then rings the doorbell.

Holding Chloe's hand across the table, Kevin thought HE was Duckie. Well, Chloe likes to mix it up. Kevin donating bone marrow to Delia bonded them as a family. A look of guilt replaces Kevin's smile.

Contemplating the divorce papers - and the wedding photo once more, Vikki signs them (but looks sadly at the photo once more).

Victor puts his tablet back in his briefcase. So - what's it gonna be? Let's go, Billy finishes his beer and grabs his bag to lead the way (a grim faced, but satisfied, Victor behind him).

Next: Don't do it - I don't want you to testify! Sharon shrieks at Victor .... Adam encourages a tipsy Heather - why don't you just go up to my room and sleep it off? (and is rewarded with a skeptical look) ..... Ronan all but whispers - You don't want me to talk? No - Phyllis whispers back. What else is there? Phyllis shows him - with a passionate kiss.

My Thoughts: Oh Heather - you didn't LET Chance 'get away' - you dumped him for his brother ..... Sharon can't accept being cut off from her family when she's in a cell - but didn't mind when she was living in Sam's barn .... At least Paul's smart enough to know he's not qualified to give relationship advice (and Victor admitting he's had some experience on ending a marriage is a huge understatement) .... Kinda creepy for Chloe to be singing 'marry me' to 'Bill' (since she was married to Billy) ... And once Chloe learns the truth (which she inevitably will) - how will she feel towards Kevin then? Won't she notice the lack of a scar on their honeymoon (if not before)? ... Kevin's a fine one to tell Billy to come clean with his wife (while he's lying to his soon to BE wife) ... Doesn't Avery have any blouses that fit across her breasts without gaping? Sharon's prison shirt is a better fit .... If Victor has photos of Billy's bad behavior in Asia - how involved IS he? Remember he DID hire a hooker to entice Billy (which he rejected) He really is the father in law from hell (whether or not he orchestrated Billy's latest shenanigans) .... .... Kinda odd for there to be a coffee machine in the prison's all access rec room. Is there no fear that the convicts will throw scalding hot water at one another? Or McGyver a Kit Kat finger into a shank? Can't Sharon meet her attorney in a private room? Sharon's stint behind bars is longer than those who're actually guilty of the crimes they're committed of .... Why would Ronan be working the two most important cases going on in GC? Where's Detective Morrow? .... There's really no good reason that Ronan couldn't thank Chance for the liver that saved his life ... Wouldn't it be common courtesy to tell poor Ester how many people she's cooking for? .... Does Billy expect his shirts to be wearable (the way he's jamming them into the one small bag he's taking)? .... If Vikki's divorce papers are so personal, why is she leaving them on the coffee table (when her Dad's over)? No wonder she's on her third set.
