Happy to hear a bracelet was found in the creek. Ronan sends the young detective off to fetch it. Enter Chance - to say that Collin's in prison in Australia - and to reschedule a family dinner. Nina already has the perfect son - Ronan doesn't see any need for him and Nina to have a relationship. Stop pushing.

Paul shows up at the mausoleum - with a bouquet of autumn flowers for Nina. Reading the card, she leaps into his arms to reward Paul with a kiss.

Dressed for court, but still at the prison, Sharon gets a visit from Victor (who's again told not to testify). He's there because (with Sam gone) Sharon needs support. That's kind - but Sharon IS alone (and will be for a long time). We'll stand by you, Victor assures - everyone is NOT 'gone'.

At RS, Phyllis is on the phone - leaving a 'call me' message that makes it clear she's eager to get her hands on Ricky's photos. Yeah - Phyllis knows Paul's son - they met the other night. So, what did she need to talk to Nick about the other night? (it sounded urgent).

At the club, Ricky has the portfolio in hand. You got something for me? Avery arrives - and is given the photos of Heather and Adam. So - it's not just a rumour. Ricky then confides the weird part. Adam set Heather up (for Sharon), Avery concludes.

Adam's also leaving a 'call me' message (presumably urging Ricky to use the photos) - when Heather comes knocking. She's worried that no one find out what almost happened between them (a lapse in judgment). And when Adam vows not to tell anyone, Heather gets nervous. OMG - what have you done!?

Sharon knows that Avery's committed to her case - but she's not a friend (or family). Noah's been supportive - but he shouldn't be holding his Mom's hand. And Victor knows the story with Doris. Feeling guilty, Sharon had to convince Sam to go home. Victor's most disappointed that Nick hasn't stepped up more - but Sharon accepts that he's not there for her anymore (something Victor can't).

Back at RS, Phyllis tells Nick that Ricky has potential (as a freelance journalist). Sharon's trial IS a huge story. And when they discuss 'bad publicity', Phyllis rants that SHE'S done more to free Sharon than Avery possibly could. And wouldn't it be brilliant if Phyllis was the one to save the trial Avery's blowing.

Avery's excited - she could get Sharon a mistrial - IF Ricky's willing to testify to the authenticity of the photos. Assuring he is, Ricky only just met Heather (but felt enough of a connection not to sell the photos). He won't profit from them - but won't suppress them either. Heather thinks she can get away with anything (because her father spoiled her rotten). She'll have to live with her choices.

Still in Adam's suite, Heather panics - realizing that he's back on Sharon's side. How would this help HER? Adam plays dumb. Oh yeah - that COULD be a problem for you. You bastard! Heather marches out in a fury.

Chance closes and locks the door - for a little sibling spat. Ronan claims he only went for dinner with 'Mom' because he was hungry. Not buyin' it, Chance has a little tantrum; sad that Ronan's running because he has no answers (and that the Detective has a badge - but no clue). After Chance slams out, Ronan's left to look sad.

Flowers in a vase, Nina's thrilled that Paul's got them tickets to a play in Chicago (Chance is leaving to start a new job - and Ronan won't miss me). Wanting to discuss their future, Paul's happy that Ricky's getting to know this side of the family better.

Plodding down the club's staircase, an agitated Heather bumps into Ricky. And when he talks about Paul being there for her all her life, Heather says he's got the wrong idea - that's not their story at ALL.

Good news, Avery visits to announce a pending mistrial. What!? How!? Sharon's stunned to hear it's thanks to Adam.

Back at RS, Nick knows that Phyllis just wants to best her sister. He's getting her 'competitive vibe'. Oh really? And what kind of 'vibe' does Nick get from Avery? 'Professional'? Sure didn't look that way to Phyllis (Avery in his arms at CL's). Oh that - she was having a bad day - don't screw up Sharon's case cause she's pissed at HIM. And when Nick needs to handle a problem in the art department, he replies to Phyllis jealous sarcasm by shouting a 'nothing happened'! Flashing back to sex with Ronan, Phyllis' doodling leads her to uncover that he jotted down her email tip (about the bracelet). Ripping off the piece of paper, she runs out.

Going through the box of bagged evidence (from the creek), Ronan sets aside a memory card.

Though Victor doesn't feel getting the court order was wrong, he does apologize for 'overstepping' (and asks Nick not to take his anger out on Sharon; an innocent woman he's turned his back on). Nick's established boundaries - and why does Victor care so much about Sharon anyway? Why WOULDN'T Victor care about the mother of his grandchildren?

Sharon flips through the photos - Adam set this up? Avery explains that the Judge might declare a mistrial - and if the DA pursues it a 3rd time, Adam won't be testifying. Sharon's horrified (that Heather's career and reputation will be ruined - while Adam, once again, goes unscathed). Adam thinks himself a hero, Avery's sure.

At CL's, Adam chats to Faith (unattended as the nanny goes for napkins). Mommy's gonna visit you real soon, he promises.

At the bar, Ricky's surprised to hear that Heather didn't know Paul growing up (and devastated to hear that her stepfather abused her mother; who then killed him). Paul breezes in - to greet his two favourite people.

Pulling out a beaded cat bracelet, Ronan's deducting skills tell him it's definitely not Vikki's. Arriving, Phyllis isn't flirtatious this time. No - they won't 'go there' again - especially after what he did.

Avery tells Sharon not to worry about Heather - it's not the first time she's crossed the line ethically. She's a disgrace to her office (which she won't have much longer). And Adam claims another victim, Sharon sighs sadly.

Not picking up on the intensity between his two favourite people (or the tears in Heather's eyes), Paul IS puzzled when Ricky abruptly takes off. Also ready to leave, Heather has to get to court (to face Avery's 'underhanded tactics'). You can handle it, Paul encourages - and for the second time today, he's asked about Ricky. Paul feels awful about missing out on his kids lives. Assuring that she's 'fine', Heather exits.

Victor feels partly responsible for Sharon going to Hawaii. Nick thinks there's more to it (knowing he wouldn't go to such lengths for Phyllis). Admitting as much, Victor has a soft spot for Sharon (knowing what a tough childhood - and adulthood she's had). But Nick thinks Sharon has changed - she's reckless and unreliable. And Phyllis isn't? Nick doesn't hold HER to the same high moral standards - nor would he keep her daughter from her). Victor just doesn't understand that.

You had no right to read that email, Phyllis scolds. Ronan doesn't need a warrant for what's in plain sight. Right - Phyllis rummages his desk. OMG! she picks up the bagged memory card.

Following Adam to his suite, Avery will be making a motion for a mistrial - that at best, will buy her time to get the memory card out of the creek (and to the authorities). Adam will have her disbarred if she breaks client privilege. Avery knows that (because he's destroying Heather's career).

In the courtroom, Chance finds Heather (who'd rather talk later). When work is all you have, you don't wanna blow it. Chance declares her an amazing lawyer - a great person - everything will be fine. Heather wishes she could agree.

Phyllis realizes she dredged the creek - has he seen the memory card? She then explains it has audio proof that Sharon was trying to save Skye. Ronan knows (having read her blog) - but it might not be the same memory card. Phyllis is sure it is - won't kill us to look at it (see if it even works). Only one way to find out, Ronan agrees.

At CL's, Nick sends the nanny home. Spotting a woman who looks like Sharon, Faith bleats 'Mommy'. No - that's not Mommy, Nick sadly clarifies.

Getting a visit from Victor, Sharon's about to deliver her amazing news - when she notices something's wrong. Nothing - Victor just had some words with Nick (and may have made things worse). Regardless, Sharon appreciates him trying.

At the mausoleum, Nina lets Paul in (to chat with Chance before he leaves). He relays seeing Heather - who seemed .... emotional. She'll be just fine though.

Heather's not happy when Adam comes - to give her a heads up ...

Ricky catches Avery - I can't let you use those pictures (can't do this to his sister). It's too late - it's already happening.

Ronan and Phyllis lean over the computer - as the memory card is inserted. Let's see what we've got.

Next: I need to see my family - will you help me, Billy appeals to Cane ... Heather looks nervous - as Avery stands to address the Judge - there's a matter that requires your attention ... What's going on here? Paul marches over to Adam and Ricky. Ask your son, Adam sneers.

My Thoughts: Ugh - I had so much to say about Friday's show. But the only thing I can recall now - is what a bad brother Nick is - dropping a drunken Vikki on her doorstep - then driving away as she fumbles with her keys. He didn't have time to ensure she safely got the the sofa? .... On to today (briefly - cause trick or treaters will be arriving soon) ... No one can give Ricky the 'exposure' RS can? Really - it's the No, Victor wouldn't do the same for Phyllis - because he wouldn't need to. Love her or hate her, she's a woman who can take care of herself .... Odd that Victor never mentioned Cassie amongst all the suffering Sharon's endured).... Best actress today - by far - was Faith .... Paul's a pretty lame detective - not detecting that his son and daughter were obviously in the middle of something rather intense ... On the other hand, Phyllis is a natural - stumbling upon the email Ronan copied onto a notepad. She really doesn't have much right to be upset at catching Nick in an innocent embrace - since she just finished having hot sex with Ronan on his desk ... If Ricky's that torn up about destroying his sister's career, all has has to do is NOT authenticate the photos (which COULD have been taken during the time they were dating) .... Happy Halloween!!!!!!
