In Ronan's office, Phyllis downplays her theft - hoping he can make it go away? How? With a time machine? IF Avery's 'scamming the system' (to make Phyllis lose custody of Lucy), she's doing a good job of it. His hands are tied unless Avery drops the charges.
Joining Mike at CL's, Nick catches him on the phone. What? Phyllis is on bail? Yes - she was arrested for the photos. Avery pressed charges - no coincidence (since she's representing Daisy - in getting Lucy back). As Mike's about to head out to arrange bail, Nick tells him to hang on - it might not be necessary.
Meanwhile, on the patio, Daniel approaches Avery - how is it I never knew I had an Aunt?
Chance and Nina join Chloe in Delia's room. She'll soon be home - trying on flower girl dresses. Daddy won't be able to make it to the wedding. Why not? Delia's question elicits awkward silence.
Bumping into Billy at the park, Cane's told to stay put. Billy can't let him go to Myanmar to clean up his mess (he'll do it himself).
At G-worm, Paul and Chris catch up; Nina still has no answers on why Ronan left town - Heather's gone; for good - and Ricky (who's responsible for it) is here (much to Chris' surprise).
Back at CL's, Mike watches as a snide Nick informs Ricky that he was played by his boss; Phyllis is Avery's sister. And as Ricky spouts off about copyright infringement, Nick tells him to forget journalism - stick to being a professional pawn.
Strolling through the park, Cane says it's too late to back out - arrangements have been made. Every day Victor keeps Billy from his daughter is a day he won't get back. Cane's not worried about possibly being ending up in Billy's old cell - or being 'cut loose' by Lily (who trusts him). Looks like Billy's just gonna have to accept Cane's help.
Yes - Avery is Phyllis' sister. It wasn't her 'place' to tell Daniel (who doesn't understand why she's pressing charges against her sister - or defending Daisy). Avery talks about poor Daisy being used as a weapon since birth - abandoned by her mother and brother, used by her Aunt, bailed on by Phyllis (who stole her baby) - she's alone and confused. Daisy has rights to justice - and certainly her own child. Daniel makes his stance clear - but good job with the whole truth and justice thing; well played.
Arriving at Ronan's office, Mike's happy to report that the charges might be dropped - then signals Ricky to come in. Ronan and Mike then leave Phyllis to apologize to Ricky. Confirming she and Avery are sister, Phyllis explains her agenda; to prove her unfit (to take Lucy) and defending Daisy; a psychotic criminal who belongs in prison. Lucy could grow up without a mother - like Ricky did. Phyllis is truly sorry - if he drops the charges, it all goes away.
Back at G-worm, Chris and Paul discuss Ricky (and his actions) - he must have 'complicated feelings' (growing up without his father). How much does he know about his Mom? Paul doesn't know - doesn't know Ricky at all. The topic is now Isabella (who seemed so innocent). She sucked me right in, Paul recalls their first meeting via flashback.
Paul played the hero - but he was a fool - for not seeing the signs. More flashbacks - to Paul telling Chris about Isabella disappearing (leaving so much blood behind he thought she'd been murdered). She made me question who I was, Chris recalls - was she capable of taking a life. Isabella had no remorse.
Phyllis didn't intend for Heather to leave town - but the picture would have come out. Avery was going to use them in court. That doesn't make it OK - the charges stand. Good luck, Ricky marches out. Ronan and Mike return - Phyllis WILL get home to her kids - bail's been handled. Mike then confides that Ricky only came because Nick talked him into it.
In Billy's motel room, Cane reads the articles he pulled from the internet. You don't wanna get busted in Myranmar. Billy also warns Cane not to be fooled by Chelsea's pretty face - and her friends are worse than any Aussie mobsters. Cane's now off to get his visa from Ronan. No, Billy doesn't have a photo of Chelsea - but he'll steal it from Victor and have it in Cane's inbox before he lands in Myanmar.
Coming out of Delia's room, Nina marvels at how well she's doing. And has Ronan said anything to Chloe (about why he left the way he did)? He said he has his reasons - that's it. And as Chloe gushes about Kevin, Nina's phone rings. Don't the the good ones get away, she then answers Paul's call. He has a surprise - Chris is at G-worm. Great - Nina hopes SHE has some answers.
Still in Delia's room, Chance presents her with a magic wand (causing her to remember her dream about Daddy). Dreams are great - just close your eyes and you can see whomever you love; whomever you miss.
As Nina and Chloe sneak in, Chance continues his pep talk to Delia. He may have to go away for work - but if so, he'll miss her every day. I love you. Yeah - just like Daddy. Chloe looks on sadly.
At G-worm, Mike accepts the invitation to join Chris and Paul (and their reminiscing about Isabella). Flashback to Chris relaxing in the tub - gasping in fright at the sight of Isabella and her large shiny knife.
When Nick drops by her suite, Avery welcomes him in - but won't budge on the lawsuit. Yes - it's for Ricky's sake (which Nick doesn't believe). Nor does he believe Avery's 'straight forward'. Her telling Phyllis to come up (when they just got out of bed) is a slick way of twisting the knife.
At CL's, Phyllis is with Daniel - it's all good. Lucy's been dropped off at the nanny's. This is so crazy. Avery and Ricky are power drunk (while SHE was the one who got Sharon cleared thank you very much). Dropping the bomb that he knows Avery's her sister, Daniel wonders when Phyllis was gonna tell him.
Daniel continues to scold Phyllis (who, not once, let it slip that she had a sister). That takes some serious lying. YOU'RE my family - Summer and Lucy are my family. And if Phyllis had any say, Lucy wouldn't know anything about Daisy. A child needs to be protected and loved. Daniel doesn't get it - is Avery a psycho like Daisy? WHY did Phyllis leave home?
Avery's just doing her job. Yeah - but Nick knows she has an ax to grind. Avery has accepted that Phyllis doesn't want a sister. And since he and Phyllis aren't together, there's no reason to hide what happened between them. If this is about Phyllis, Nick isn't into games - count me out, he exits.
An emotional Chris no longer has nightmares - but it's hard to forget. Flashback to Isabella in Chris' bathroom - Paul trying to revive her as Isabella snuck up behind him, knife raised. Mike racing in to disarm her. Realtime, Chris wouldn't be here if it weren't for Paul and Mike (who blames himself for Isabella coming to town). And when Nina arrives, she's updated on the conversation (and whether Ricky's anything like his mother).
Nina suggests Paul go to Ricky for answers - whatever comes, he has their support. No time like the present. And after Paul leaves, Chance joins the group. Nina makes an appeal to Chris - will she help them get answers (on Ronan).
Back at the park, Cane meets Ronan (who's called in favours to get his visa). Cane knows that he cares about Delia and her mother. Just stay safe, Ronan cautions - and don't make me regret getting this visa.
Why did Phyllis delete her entire history? She made a choice - let's move on. We're talking about my Aunt here, Daniel persists. No, Danny doesn't know - no one needs to know, Phyllis won't budge. We have a good life - there's no need to revisit the past. But, Daniel DOES need to know - and if Phyllis isn't willing to go there - maybe his Aunt Avery will.
As Delia sleeps, Chloe talks about Billy - how ticked off she is that he's not there. You're the one thing he got right. If Billy knew you needed him, he'd be here. Chance is right - Daddy loves and misses you.
Ready to leave for Myanmar, Cane reminds Billy to send the photo of Chelsea. Everything will be alright, he assures. This is about my kid, Billy wishes he could take care of it himself. You'll be with Delia next week, Cane's sure - don't go out in public. Don't screw this up, Billy quips back as Cane exits.
Surprised to find Daniel at her door, Avery welcomes him in. She understands that he needs information - but wishing things were different, can't give it to him.
Phyllis approaches Nick on the CL's patio. Thanking him for sending Ricky to talk to her, she reports he didn't back off. Mike paid her bail. Yup - RS is still 'in a bind'. We (the magazine) have been through worse. But Nick worries - how long can Phyllis stay out of trouble? Mentioning his being in bed with Avery - and threatening to kill Diane, Phyllis agrees - maybe we've reached out limit. Nick hopes not. Do you? Nick won't let a coupla photos ruin RS - and they HAVE endured worse. Truce? Sure - truce. But is Phyllis 'neutral'? She's felt a lot of things towards Nick - neutral isn't one of em.
Inside, Paul thanks Ricky for coming. He'd like help understanding 'some things' Ricky's done since coming to town. Can you help me with that?
Entering Ronan's office, Chance isn't there about work. Following Nina in, Chris understands he's been dodging questions. That time's over - now you're gonna talk.
Next: Paul confronts Ricky. You're my son - I barely know you. I barely know you either .... Avery's with Nick - I don't want you to think I was with you because of Phyllis. Nothing could be further from the truth, she explains .... Ronan opens his front door (to scowl at Phyllis) - what in the hell are you doing here?
My Thoughts: Ugh - sorry - no time for thoughts today (but I've gotta say, kudos to TPTB for thinking of a way to incorporate big time actress Eva Longoria - whom I'm sure they could no longer dream of affording) Now how about some flashback of another actor who's gone on to bigger and better things; Shemar Moore - preferably his shirtless photo shoot that none of us long time viewers will ever forget..My continued thanks to everyone visiting www.fibrofoundation.org. Your support and prayers are very much appreciated.
