At the church, Tucker calls Ashley (for an 'oh how lucky I am' chat). At the Abbott mansion, Liv gives the bride a gift (to be opened later) - then leaves as Traci arrives (having caught the last flight out of New York before all planes were grounded). She wouldn't miss this for the world ~hug!
Meanwhile, the Maid of Honour has been summoned to the church. As a surprise, Tucker's taking Ashley to a private island he owns (but is worried Jabot work will stand in the way). He's pleased when Abby agrees; her mother is island bound - we'll see to that.
Over pre-wedding champagne at G-worm, Genevieve's a bit nervous about the upscale guest list - and the reminder that marriage is a wonderful thing (for some people).
Ready to leave for the wedding, Neil reassures a nervous Sofia - Moses will be fine with the baby nurse. Things have been 'off' since he mentioned marriage, he opines. Sure they can be good parents apart - but do an even better job as an 'official' team. 'United parents' is a gift not every kid gets, he persists.
At CL's, Kay assumes correctly that Devon's not attending Tucker's wedding; a wise decision. It's better you're not there tonight.
You're alive! Vikki gasps - then lunges into Billy's arms.
Hearing it's 'unlikely' that Genevieve will be spending Thanksgiving with Cane, Jack invites her to filll his dance card. When he gets a call from Traci, Genevieve waves her permission for him to go - and Jack's on his way. Smiling, she's really looking forward to tonight.
Abby's now with Ashley and Traci - to announce that she's ordered another bouquet - so that Traci can be added as Matron of Honour. The only dark cloud is that Devon probably won't show up.
At the church, Sofia coaches the groom (who excuses himself to make a call to Neil - a last ditch effort to get Devon to attend the wedding. He's made his decision, Neil congratulates Tucker - Ashley's a wonderful woman. Hanging up, he relays the call to Liv (who thinks Devon's biological father is really making an effort).
Back at CL's, Devon knows him cutting Tucker slack is the last thing Kay wants. Actually, Kay's really hoping he softens towards his birth family.. To you, Devon assumes. Tucker's invitation is pure manipulation, Kay shares her son's plan to bond with Devon - and cut her off. Correctly guessing that this is about KAY not being invited to the wedding (and asks to be left out of their battle).
You're here - you're safe, Vikki babbles that she was in Myanmar (which troubles Billy immensely). You're alive! Getting over her initial joy, Vikki has to ask - what the hell? Where has Billy been since being released from jail??
Encouraged not to give up on Devon, Tucker realizes that Sofia and Neil are in love. He then hears that Neil wants to do 'the right thing' - but the vows will be a lie, she pouts. Tucker wouldn't want a loveless marriage for Sofia - but it wouldn't be - from HER end. And, in time, Neil's love for Moses, might transfer to Sofia.
Neil now describes the tension between him and Sofia - since he made his 'practical' proposal. Liv invites Neil to join her at the church - to fix things with Sofia (and leave before the ceremony). When Devon arrives, Liv leaves him to gripe about Kay patting him on the back (for not going to the wedding). Relaying Tucker's call, Neil thinks Devon can 'bob and weave' all he wants - but Tucker's not going away.
Where the hell have you been? Hugging Jill, Kay's delighted to hear that Billy's alive (though Jill didn't get to see him)
Another glass of champagne in hand, Jack's home with his sisters and niece. What a great night, Delia and Jabot are 'home' - and Ashley's getting married - again. All clink glasses merrily. But smiles turn upside down when they note who's missing; Billy. We have to double our efforts to bring him home, Jack's determined.
Billy was released - but wasn't able to get back to Vikki - until now. Yes, he got her emails - read em a thousand times. He wanted to get home to her - and Delia. Reporting that she's going home, Vikki wonders why Billy left Delia. I'm not good enough - for either of you, Billy concludes.
Vikki doesn't want a 'stupid' excuse - he snuck out on her - like a coward. Billy lost himself after losing Lucy, Vikki, Delia. He left to avoid causing them pain. Yeah - cause Vikki had so much fun. And as she angrily packs up her stuff, it's announced that all flights are grounded for the night. The first to get her voucher, Vikki throws a glare at Billy then clip clops out of the bar.
Jill leaves a message for Vikki - call me - I have good news about Billy. Kay declares it a very good night. But yes, she's hurt at not being invited to Tucker's wedding. And when Kay gets hurt - she gets angry - and a little nuts, Jill's then told that Kay did something she's not proud of.
Neil told Tucker that Devon, a grown man, makes his own decisions. But he can't just pretend his biological father doesn't exist. Look at what resentment and neglect have done to Tucker and Kay, Neil doesn't want that for Devon (who decides it's time to head out).
Now suited up for the wedding, Tucker greets Genevieve. It's clear they have history. So - we finally run into each other. Genevieve finds it funny they're both in GC - her dating Tucker's brother in law. And when Sofia comes to get him, Tucker introduces Genevieve. She offers congratulations - then is left to stare after them with an odd look on her face.
Excited that this day's finally here - and that her family's excited for her, Ashley (now ready to head to the church) promises not to cry.
Struggling to get into room 865, Vikki ignores Billy - and spits out a frustrated 'finally!' as she's makes her way in. Opening her door to the adjoining suites, Vikki finds the one behind it locked. Seconds later, Billy opens his door - and finding the door behind that one locked - then locks his own adjoining door. Both pouting on their respective beds, Vikki and Billy would be facing one another - if not for the two locked doors between them.
Kay and Jill are soon bickering (about Jill's neglect of Billy - and Kay being so 'sauced' that she gave up her own baby). Jill shuts Kay up with a low blow - your son is saying his vows right about now.
Tucker and Sofia are before the minister (as are Traci and Abby). All are beaming - the three guests stand - as Ashley appears. And as she's half way down the aisle, the traditional music CD starts to skip (causing all to laugh). Nudged by Sofia, Tucker spots Devon's arrival. And as he takes a seat beside Liv, the McCall's gaze blissfully into one another's eyes as the Reverend begins.
In matching robes, a sad Vikki leans on the adjoining door. Equally sad, Billy opens the door - then locks it again. Hearing him, Vikki opens hers - contemplates - then locks it as well. Both are now leaning on the door that separates them.
Looking deeply into one another's eyes, Tucker, then Ashley exchange vows - and rings. Now husband and wife, the McCall's kiss is applauded. The only insincere smiles come from Genevieve and Devon. Meanwhile, a well dressed Harmony barely gets the door open when Neil startles her.
Tucker stuns Ashley by announcing that her bags are packed - they're off to his island. Abby's off to LA - to cover Ashley's meetings and personal appearances. And as mother and daughter hug, Traci introduces herself to Genevieve. Watching the McCall's pose for photos, the guests gush about how happy and handsome the couple are. Liv's pleased to hear that Sofia's decided to accept Neil's proposal. Abby praises Devon for coming; making her Mom and Tucker very happy. And as the ladies pose for the photographer, Tucker and Devon exchange a look.
In the foyer, Neil won't let Harmony open the door - interrupt his friend Ashley's wedding - or ruin the night. Go! Get outta here now! I WILL carry you outta here, he warns. Without further word, Harmony leaves - followed by Neil.
For God's sake - focus on Delia's homecoming - not beating the stuffing out of one another, Jill implores. Both are soon chuckling about their battle - and apologizing. Jill's jaw drops when Kay confides that she brought Harmony back to GC - to live with them.
Mirror images, Billy and Vikki pace their respective rooms. Both attacking their doors in uinison, the Abbott's are now face to face - and lips to lips. Backing Vikki up, the robes are soon off - and Billy's on top of Vikki's bed - on top of Vikki.
Next: Kevin's about to come clean to Chloe - I have to tell you something - and it's something you're gonna hate - so, brace yourself .... Robe on, Vikki shouts at a contrite Billy - you've been in GC this whole time - and didn't bother to tell anyone!? ... Patty's with Adam - I've done a lot for you Adam - and now you're gonna do something for me.
My Thoughts: Yeah - I'm sure having l'il Moses HAS changed Sofia (by about 30 lbs) ... What's Sofia got against lying in her vows? Didn't she promise Malcolm to foresake all others? ... How did Tucker keep a straight face when getting to the 'for richer , for poorer' vow? ... All those billions - and Tucker didn't splurge to hire a string orchestra for the wedding? (leaving Ashley to be bop down the aisle to what sounded like hip hop) .... Why didn't Ashley get ready in the church's bridal room? .. Ashley's dress didn't appear well fitted - it was more flattening than flattering (and that poof on the side of her head was too big for the simplicity of the dress) Kinda comical that serial bride Ashley wore white .... Why am I not surprised that Genevieve and Tucker have a history? .. Geneveive had no idea that the guest list was so 'elite'? How about so miniscule. Including Devon, there was a grand total of 4 guests. They have no business associates or friends to invite? What was the point of even ordering fancy invitations? If Neil's such a close friend of Ashley's (and Tucker's best woman), why wasn't Neil invited? .... Well done Kay - had she not spoken to Devon, he probably wouldn't have gone to the wedding .... Trans Global really takes customer servicento a whole new level (sending a rep. to hand out hotel vouchers). But since nothing was announced over the airport's PA system, how will they advise ticket-holders who aren't drinking at the Irish pub? Shouldn't the Trans Global rep have checked Vikki's ID or anything? She barely even glanced at her ticket. Assuming there's a least a couple hundred of these vouchers being handed out, it's incredibly lucky that Billy just so happened to get the room next to Vikki's ... Always nice to see Traci - but doesn't her husband Steve EVER attend any events with her? It's not like they have kids at home to be watched.
