Today's Spoiler

The mausoleum rejoices - Dee Dee has her Daddy again. And where has Daddy been? Far away - but wanting to get back to her. He's sorry it took so long. Well - Happy Thanksgiving, Victor leaves (apparently not noticing that Murphy's the only one to grunt a response). Continuing to gush over Delia, Billy scolds Jill for flying half way round the world. Anything for you, she whimpers. We have a lot to be thankful for! Kay herds every one into the dining room for Thanksgiving dinner.

As a lonely Avery's seated at a table for one at G-worm, Phyllis is at CL's - chatting to Lucy in her lap (about the parade they just came from). Didn't expect to see you here today, Ronan comes over. I guess you're lucky, Phyllis returns his smile.

Called over, Adam checks Jack's pulse. What the hell did you do to them?! Patty just out some extra spice in the gravy. Phone in hand, Adam threatens to call his pal Detective Malloy. Yeah - well she has dirt on Adam too (which he doubts - or she'd have used it by now). Not shocked when Patty stops him from making the call, Adam orders her out of town - today. Patty can't - she has responsibilities. Fine! I'll go! Yeah - your word is golden, Adam scoffs. Fingers crossed behind her back, Patty swears she'll go - on the soul of Mr Kitty. Sadly, that's as good as it gets with you. You're welcome, Adam tells the sleeping Jack on his way out.

Laptop open on her table, Avery's on the phone with her 'Daddy'. No - she won't see Phyllis - nothing's gonna change there. Love you too - bye. Hanging up, Avery fights tears.

Phyllis informs Ronan that Daniel's with his Dad - and Nick took Summer to New Mexico - to see Sharon and Faith. She then whines about having to take Lucy to see Daisy (thanks to Avery). Oh yeah - Ronan has 'big plans' alright - working on solving Diane's murder. Since neither are into Thanksgiving, Phyllis invites him over (an invitation Ronan's happy to accept).

Still carting Delia around, Billy leads the group into the living room. He agrees with a grim faced Chloe - it's nap time. And as soon as Ester's ushered Delia from the room, Chloe lets Billy know that Kevin told her everything - we'll talk later, she clip clops out (leaving Billy's fan club eager to hear where he's been).

Billy confirms Vikki and Jill's story - that he was set up (something he's not proud of). All that matters is that he's home - and Delia's happy (happier than Kevin's ever seen her). Admitting he screwed up. Billy apologizes - and now he's going home to be with his wife (after a round of hugs that is). At the door, Billy and Vikki are glad to hear that Chloe's forgiven the little Chipmunk. She may come around with Billy - but Victor, not so much. Outside, Vikki insists on confronting her father - alone - don't worry ~kiss~ Billy's uneasy as he watches her leave. Meanwhile, at the ranch, Victor leaves yet another whiny ' I miss you' message for Nikki.

Patty - in a mask and custodian's uniform - trundles a garbage pail off the NE elevator and down the hallway.

Jack awakens groggily - followed closely by Genevieve. We fell dead asleep - must be the champagne and turkey. Both had foggy dreams of someone arguing. Just shows how comfortable they're becoming with one another, they giggle and cuddle.

Sneaking into Adam's office, Patty sing songs - I'm not the one going away - bad man Adam. She places something (that appears to be a small leather book) in his desk drawer.

It's settled. After the delightful prison visit, Phyllis is having Ronan over for pizza and to watch the game. But Ronan then gets a call (from Patty at a payphone in the underground parking - telling him the murder weapon is in a desk at NE). Who is this!? Ronan barks. Looks like he's gotta work after all. Suspect number 10? Phyllis' question goes unanswered.

At the Vikki and Billy's place, Jack hugs his brother - then demands help understanding why he stayed away. No phone call - no email!? Why!?

Sweetheart. How could you!? How could you keep Billy away from me - and his little girl!? He left you and Delia - proving himself the husband and father Victor knew he'd be. Si kindly direct your anger at HIM. Every minute Victor kept the secret is a lie. Vikki doesn't need her father's 'protection'. She needed her husband! Knowing the next time Billy leaves will be even MORE devastating, Victor was trying to spare them. Nothing will keep Vikki from Billy ever again. Oh yeah? Perhaps Vikki should ask Billy what he was up to when he was gone.

Daisy nowhere in sight - the visit apparently over, Phyllis is ready to take Lucy home when Avery struts into the prison communal visiting room. A guard comes in to announce they're on lockdown - because an employee lost his ID. We're stuck here! Phyllis isn't happy.

Billy's tired - it's been an ugly few months. Having just gotten Vikki and Delia back, Billy can't answer any more questions right not. Oh alright - but he better let Ashley and Traci know SOON. Happy he's back, Jack will leave Billy to enjoy the holiday with his wife. Hey - where IS  Vikki anyway? On her way home, Billy hopes.

Ominously, Victor thinks Vikki has every reason to fear the truth. The girl on the beach? She already knows - and doesn't care. Of COURSE you care! Victor argues. Because he's turned his back on Mom (and them) so many times, Vikki knows Victor will NEVER understand her love for Billy. How dare you say that to me!? Victor shouts about Nikki's affair with a bartender - her stint in rehab - the kids taking him for 500 million. No - he WON'T understand the way Vikki loves that no good SOB. He's waiting for me at home - and that's where Vikki's going. Oh - by the way - she's done with NE and Victor - for good. You're making a terrible mistake! Victor shouts after her (his reply the front door slamming).

In NE's hallway, Ronan instructs his fleet of uniforms. Yes - they have the rock - but are searching for another murder weapon (which will hopefully connect them to a 'perp'). There's a few NE execs on the suspect list - start with their offices. Go! And as Ronan enters Victor's empty office, Patty's in the underground, singing to herself when Adam appears; woof woof - easy kitten. Knowing she wouldn't leave town, Adam announces the cops are here - but it's not gonna play out as Patty hoped.

Genevieve's surprised when a cat meows it's way into the living room - where did you come from? Assuming there's a window open somewhere, Genevieve picks the cat up to pet it.

Relaying her chat with Dad, Avery needles Phyllis about not visiting him in prison - leaving on Thanksgiving to make it more painful for Dad. OK - let's talk about this - what was Phyllis supposed to do? Stay home and make gravy? Talk about Dad being in prison? Sweet, loving Dad? A liar - a thief - a criminal - a master manipulator? He did this to himself. I was a kid who suddenly had to become an adult, Avery was the one to tell him - left to fix the damage Phyllis did. In tears, Phyllis claims she was pushed out - as the bad guy - HE'S the victim. HE did this to us, she cries. We were a family - a team. The 'delusional - brainwashed' Avery whimpers - you made Mom and Dad think you were ashamed of them. Phyllis IS ashamed of them. 'Those people' did more than let Phyllis down. But listen to YOU - sanctimonious - getting people of death row - but never trying to free our father. You read the transcripts - and still think he's innocent? No, Avery thinks he did it *sniff/sob*

Now calm and vulnerable, Phyllis wonders if everything can be different now - and the lockdown over, offers to wait for Avery (until her visit with Daisy is over). Telling the guard to let her client know she'll be back later, Avery marches out (leaving Phyllis looking utterly hurt).

Chloe mocks everyone gushing over Billy - like it doesn't matter that he left his daughter to cry for him. Let it go, Kevin says it's just her, him and Delia - no room for drama. In the livingroom, Jill marvels that she just missed Billy. Reminding them that it's Thanksgiving, Murphy insists they focus on what they have to be thankful for; Delia and Billy are both home.

Now home, a 'furious' Vikki rants about Victor trying to control her life - and now he won't be part of it. Her father hasn't stopped trying to come between them since their wedding day - and Vikki promises he'll never get close enough to hurt them ever again. Billy then  removes the picture above the fireplace - and replaces it with the bunny/Hef portrait (which is just fine with Vikki) ~kiss~

Returning to Genevieve's, Jack's not much of a cat person, but if she likes him, it's where he belongs.

Telling Patty that he found a surprise in his desk, Adam flashes back - explaining that NE's computers are equipped with software that allows them to access the security cameras. Seeing Ronan and the cops arrive, the 'proactive' Adam 'bolted into action'. Flashback to him managing to slip the item into Victor's safe (conveniently left open and unattended by a secretary). And with Patty's help, Adam's managed to frame Victor for Diane's murder. Thanks pal.

Victor arrives to find his office being searched. Ronan shows him the search warrant - and the leather pouch (which contains a hypodermic needle and some liquid). Wanna tell me about it?  Sure, Victor can call Baldwin - from the car - on the way to the station.

Victor? I'm home? Nikki looks glamorous - but nervous.

Next: There's something that you need to know about me - and the night Diane was killed, Vikki admits to Billy .... The police think you killed Mom? Standing with a pinched face Jack, Kyle snarls up at Victor (with Mike) .... Glass of vodka in hand, Nikki struggles with temptation.

My Thoughts: I think it's Ronan's first scene with Phyllis - but watch for Lucy's head to float in like a balloon and take over half of the shot lol ... Hey Jack - you're not much of a 'dog person' either (anyone remember Fisher?) Or a kid person (Kyle's still off skiing? His first Thanksgiving without his Mom? Never mind that he missed his Aunt Ashley's wedding)  ...  Is Lucy played by a little boy too (like Faith was)?  Maybe it's the toque (or 'hat' for you Americans) - but she looks an awful lot like Daniel ... Chloe looks like she's doing 'the little teapot' dance when they all file into the livingroom (her hand glued to her hip as she walks in)  ... I'm really enjoying the quirky friendship between Kevin and Billy .... The prison goes into lockdown mode every time an employee loses his or her ID? That must make he or she very popular. Nice of the guard to announce their incompetence .... Vikki doesn't care about the girl on the beach? Does she care enough to ask whether Billy used protection? Guess she's forgotten about her AIDS scare as a teenager - when Ashley had to take her for testing - then again 6 months later  .... Victor turning his back on Nikki so many times, is more reason he SHOULD understand Vikki's love for Billy - the unconditional love (on the condition that Nikki kisses Victor's @ss) Victor knows all about that kind of 'love' because Nikki's been demonstrating it for 30+ years. Does Vikki really think that she and Billy have cornered the market on true love? That said, how can Victor possibly defend the way he meddles in Vikki's life? Mistake or not, it's her mistake to make - she's an adult for heaven's sake .... 'Great job' - ''excellent job, Phyllis praises Lucy. Great job doing what? Chewing on whatever she can get her hands on? Or perhaps Lucy spit up on her Mommy ... When did Genevieve morph into a kitten loving sweetheart? What happened to the lunatic who all but bit off Collin's face while kissing him? The grief stricken woman who made a life size Samantha on the floor out of photos?  ... Couldn't every adjective Phyllis used to describe her father also be used to describe herself? Criminal - liar - thief - manipulator? I almost felt sorry for Phyllis today - but I can't fathom why two mature, professional sisters have such baggage over their Daddy's crime and incarceration (which is rumoured to be due to bilking seniors out of their life savings. Despicable for sure - but Phyllis and Avery carry on like he was a pedophile. And their mother's only crime was being in denial? Standing by her husband's side? Believing him innocent? Quick - someone call CPS! ... You'd think Adam would be a bit smarter (than putting his finger prints on Jack's neck - what if he WAS dead?) ... All NE's computers have access to surveillance footage - but there's no cameras monitoring the underground parking where Adam and Patty are chatting? Unfortunate... Thanks to Delores and JV for taking the time to explain why Harmony said 'deuces' yesterday :-)
