Hanging up the phone - and shaking Nick's hand, Billy reports that Rafe's drawing up the contract. Nick then gets a call - what!? The TV turned on, he and the Abbott's learn that Victor's been arrested - after confessing to Diane's murder. Assuming that Mike's with Dad, Nick and Vikki race out to be with Mom.

Still plucking straw out of her hair, Nikki staggers into the ranch - Victor? What the hell is Deacon doing there? Get out! She doesn't need his help - you can't help me!! she struggles as Deacon holds her upright.

Surprised at getting such a detailed confession - from such a hangover Victor, Ronan wonders if Adam will corroborate it.

Adam arrives at the station - assuming correctly that he was summoned to give his eyewitness account of Victor murdering Diane. Assigned to take Adam's statement, Paul just wants the truth.

Back in Ronan's office, Victor's asked to sign his statement. Snatching it, Mike asks for a moment with his client. Not now, not here - Victor demands the statement - I know what I'm doing.

Paul and Ronan explain their suspicion of (and to) Adam - he's been known to lie - and frame Victor.

Ronan returns to find Mike shouting at Victor; this could mean life in prison! Lead out - after handing over his signed confession - Victor stares at - but otherwise ignores, a horrified Sharon.

At CL's, Lily's looking for Cane - but instead joins Daniel. Sharing how happy she is, Lily credits Cane (whom Daniel still doesn't trust).

On the patio, Billy thanks Cane for going to Myanmar - he didn't find Chelsea - but better; he saved Jill and Vikki.

At Jack's, he and Emily walk down memory lane. Oh how different their lives woulda been without Patty. No - Jack hasn't heard from Patty (since she escaped the 'mental hospital').

At the GCAC, Genevieve hands a veiled Merna her list of errands. Hearing that Gen's off to Jack's house. Patty flashes back to Emily being there - and suddenly gets dizzy.

Jack and Emily continue to discuss Patty - Victor - and the pain both caused. So much was lost - IE. Colleen. Sniffling (perhaps because of her cat allergy), Emily encourages Jack to move forward. On that note, Jack asks her to stick around - to meet someone who's helping him do just that.

Back at the GCAC, Merna's told to go home to rest - she'll be just find on her own. I can't do it, Merna acts terrified. Already late for her date with Jack, Genevieve's gentle but firm - yes you can.

In an interrogation room, Victor's cuffed to a chair. Mike wants answers - and gets them. Nikki got drunk and confessed. Why didn't you come to me? Mike scolds. Victor had to act quickly - and wants help selling this to Malloy. Nikki's fragile - under no circumstances can Malloy go after her. Victor clams up when Sharon's let in - look me in the eye and tell me you killed Diane.

Adam gives his statement to Paul and Ronan - and explains why he didn't come forward sooner with his account (like the cops woulda believed him).

Looking much better, Nikki's still annoyed by Deacon's presence. Arriving, Nick and Vikki are also annoyed - when he comes out with coffee. He drove me home from a meeting, Nikki explains. After Deacon exits, Nick and Vikki drop the bomb; Dad confessed to Diane's murder.

Back on the patio, Billy continues to thank Cane. I owe ya. Inside, Lily and Daniel butt heads over Cane. Nothing Daniel can do if Lily wants to be with him - but he won't support the relationship.

Nikki can't believe Victor did this. Because he didn't - it's not possible, Nick assumes she's referring to him killing Diane. I have to go to him, Nikki summons a car. Sorry - but Vikki won't go. Nick will meet Nikki there. Talk to your sister, she runs out. Vikki won't change her mind.

Not believing Victor's confession, Sharon lists the reasons why it's not possible. What's going on? Accept what I'm telling you, Victor asks Sharon to go. No - not after the way Victor stood by HER! WHY? she asks again.

Joining the boys on the patio, Lily's surprised to learn that Billy's the reason Cane left the country.

Tissue to her nose, Emily asks if Jack got a cat. Yes - but it's missing. Leaving, Emily's sorry she wasn't able to stay and meet his friend. Take care ~hug~ Alone for a minute, Jack lets Genevieve in. You just missed ... never mind. Spotting the two glasses of wine, Genevieve gets 'curious' - who'd I miss?

Nick badgers Vikki (who has to consider that a man who'd keep a father from his sick daughter might be capable of killing his ex wife). Wow - OK - but come for Mom. Nope - Billy spent time in jail - alone - let's see how Dad likes it!

Marching through the station. Sharon assures Mike that she'll prove Victor's innocence - no matter what it takes. Adam comes out to quip; role reversal (assuming she's there to rescue Victor). Hearing that Adam confirmed Victor's confession, Sharon's aghast - you believe him!?

Nikki's in the interrogation room - refusing to let Victor do this for her - to pay for something SHE did. Victor's sure that Mike (now arriving) will get him a fair sentence (for the crime he committed). I don't believe you! Nikki barks - and Mike doesn't either - DO you? Awkward silence.

Please talk to him, Nikki implores. Mike claims that Victor's a man of honour. OMG! Nikki's exasperated. She remembers waking up with blood on her clothes - a rock beside her. But you don't know what happened, Victor points out - and I DO. Mike stops Nikki from going to Ronan - it'll only make things more difficult. Arms folded, Nikki's sure this won't work - there are people that will never believe Victor. Enter Nick - you wanna tell me what's goin' on?!

Sharon takes the bar stool next to Adam - this is about payback for Victor trying to frame him for Skye's murder. You're his biggest disappointment. Victor made sure Adam didn't put her away for Skye's murder - and Sharon's gonna see to it that HE doesn't put Victor away for Diane's. Loyalty is something you'll never understand, she snarls.

Her name is Emily, Jack claims they aren't an item - not anymore - but yes, he loved her - and once came close to getting married. Jack's had too many complicated relationships. One's enough for Genevieve. OK - let's do something uncomplicated ~kiss~

Victor's sorry he lied to Nick - he should have come forward in the beginning. Why now? Malloy's getting on Victor's nerve - he had to come clean. He lists all the awful things Diane did (colluding with Adam was the last straw). We're behind you no matter what - though Nick can't speak for Vikki (who won't take over NE either). Since Nick sold RS he's available - to run NE.

Daniel realizes he can't get through to Lily (re: Cane) - and that he's confided much of his personal life - while Eden's remains off limits.

On the patio, Billy credits Cane with bringing him home - he had my back. Guy's OK (though Billy will deny that in public). Now alone, Lily smiles adoringly at Cane (who's definitely more than OK).

Eden has a new plan - her favourite French movie's playing. Daniel's not only seen it - he's already got tickets. Eden's impressed (having thought she'd be the only on in the theater).

Why does Lily trust Cane again? Because he put Collin in prison - and is the man she loved and trusted. How about a date? Cane's already arranged a babysitter. Where to? A French surprise (which I'm betting is the theater they'll bump into Eden and Daniel at).

Genevieve and Jack's make out session heads upstairs - as Patty lurks outside the front door watching - and simmering.

Now home, Vikki rants about Deacon taking advantage of Mom. No - she won't go see her father - she chose BILLY. Victor's family. No - YOU'RE my family now ~hug~

Everything will be alright, Victor assures - as he's lead out. He's lying, Nick assures Ronan. Something's not right, Paul eyeballs Mike. Maybe Nikki can explain, Ronan eyeballs her.

Back at the bar, Adam warns Sharon that Victor will disappoint her. He once said the same about you, Sharon points out. Adam concludes they aren't that different after all - but wait - yes we are - I didn't kill Diane.

Next: I will do anything for Faith, Sharon gushes. Stay away from Adam, Nick orders... You did not just do that, Eden laughs. Also covered in either black paint or chocolate, Daniel kisses her ... Adam's at Nikki's front door - You might want to ge a bit nicer to me - after we talk about what you've done.

My Thoughts: One good thing about Victor's confession - it's unlikely that Jack, Kyle's biological Dad, will lose custody to the man claiming to have killed his mother. I'd say Victor's guardianship will be declared null and void effective immediately (not that he stood a chance - or gave a rats ass about Kyle anyway). Perhaps Jack will sue Victor for puniative damages on Kyle's behalf (it's a more clear cut case of 'alienation of affection' than Diane had against Nikki)..... Patty's hands have healed quite nicely - there's absolutely no scarring where the bandages were ... Genevieve noticed lipstick on the wine glass - yet it doesn't look like Emily was wearing any .... Another slam against the Myanmar tourism industry (as Billy claims it's not exactly a fun vacation spot) .... Keep this warm - Daniel shoves his coffee at Eden (who'll probably just nuke it before giving it back to Daniel) And if he's interested in Eden, he might wanna resist the urge to jump up whenever Lily walks in ... Nikki's one controlled alcoholic. The love of her life's incarcerated for a murder she committed - and she doesn't immediately hit the bottle (which are on prominent display - despite Victor being well aware that she's just come out of rehab) - would it have killed him to lock up the booze? ... Victor's having a private meeting with his lawyer - why would the guard just send Sharon in? ... Yeah - Sharon's gonna prove Victor's innocence - no matter what it takes (whether that includes forging a passport in her daughter's name to flee the country). Hasn't she learned her lesson about proving people innocent? You're not that good at it - and you're rich - stick with shopping and hire professionals to do that kinda stuff .... LMAO - No! No! Nikki No! Mike shouts and points his finger down at Nikki like she's a disobedient puppy who's just peed on the carpet. I almost expected him to hit her with a rolled up newspaper - or grab her by the scruff and rub her nose in it ... Yawn - again? - someone's taking blame for a crime they didn't commit - to protect a loved one? Didn't we just end this storyline with Ashley and Abby? The GCAC could solve crimes a LOT quicker if they invested in a lie detector machine. Instead of building a wing at GC Memorial, the Newman's shoulda donated one ... Why is it so hard to believe that Victor's capable of murder? Walter Palin would believe it - as would the numerous 'punks' Victor's handily beaten up over the years - how about Michael - that guy Victor kept in the dungeon and fed baked rats? Diane thought him capable of murder - she wrote a letter to that effect shortly before she was killed. Victor ain't called 'ruthless' because he's a boy scout.
