Devon's outta here - not willing to reconsider Tucker's idea (as he was tricked into this meeting). Devon can market his own music - and doesn't need a lecture. Great - now he's missed his Dad's wedding. Well, how was Tucker s'posed to know it was today??

The Reverend's vows cause Lily to flashback to Cane's proposal. Then and now he stares goofily at her (especially now).

Mike joins Victor in the usual place - to go over the board meeting. He hears Sharon's troubling news - about Nikki. Getting sober is Victor's top priority.

Embarrassingly - not surprisingly - drunk again, Adam sneers down at Nikki (passed out on the club's floor). When Nick's snarling gets to Adam's shenanigans at NE, he's told not to let his mind wander (it's too small to be out on it's own). Nick's left to lift Nikki up - to take her back to the ranch. OK then - upstairs - where her new husband might be. Has Nick met him yet?

At CL's, her talons out, Kay asks Deacon what kind of scam he's running - then introducing Harmony to the con artist who's using her friend, offers to double whatever he's getting - to annul the marriage.

It's no hoax - Deacon loves Nikki. Talking about him and a Canadian barmaid getting Nikki back on the booze, Kay realizes she's drinking again.

Where's the vodka? Nikki wobbles into her suite - then tries to send Nick home. And when Nick suggests rehab again, Nikki hushes him up - she has something important to say - that she hasn't told anyone - and will explain everything.

Tucker apologizes for making Devon miss the wedding - and for approaching him anonymously. Devon won't accept him as a father - but won't do business with him BECAUSE he's his father. What's Tucker s'posed to do with that? Hey - how about his driver take them to the wedding? Sure - why not, both exit.

As Sophia recites her vows, Cane captures it on his phone - flashing back to their sappy vows. And as Sophia beams, Neil pledges his love and faithfulness *gulp*

Neil and Sophia's wedding continues - the rings; symbols of love and faithfulness - the kiss (more flashbacks of Cane and Lily's wedding; their rings - their kiss) Neil and Sophia are now man and wife.

Kay and now Harmony continue to scold Deacon - who makes it clear that he's staying sober - he'll do what he can to make Nikki stop. If Kay finds out he's lying, she'll crush Deacon (who's gotta get back to Nikki). That leaves Harmony to say she's seen Deacon at some meetings - he seems harmless. After Harmony exits, Nick calls - to summon Kay to Nikki's suite.

Mike's not sure they can get Nikki back into rehab - if she's under Deacon's influence. And then there's the rumours - spread online. What if they can't keep Nikki quiet? The she jeopardizes Victor's plan to protect her,

Nikki sniffles about how much Nick and Vikki mean to her. Nick must accept this 'fact'. I'm a drunk - always have been - always will be. It's TRUE! Nick's not havin' it. But Nikki's TRIED rehab - it just doesn't work! Oh look - here's my husband (who Nick immediately blames for his Mom's condition).

Nikki was just fine when Deacon left her - what did NICK do to upset her? Why would he try to stop Nick from taking Nikki to the ranch? His mother can do whatever she wants. Spectacular, he grumbles - when Kay arrives. Nick leaves the ladies to talk - Deacon too (when asked to prove he'd do anything for Nikki). It's just you and me - tell me what's wrong, Kay coos to her old friend.

Mike will take care of Nikki. What's next? Adam? Assuming that Victor wants to block Adam's bid for CEO, he's having Nick and Lauren team up. Good plan - except Victor WANTS Adam in charge.

At the bar, Adam meets Mr Lemon - who's interested in a reward for his vote. Adam's confident he's the clear choice for CEO - while his father serves his time.

Post wedding - over champagne, Lily congratulates the newlyweds on the most spontaneous wedding ever. Who'd have thunk it - a new life. Anything is possible. Here's to the future, all clink glasses. The Reverend's thanked - the decorations praised. Lily observes her Dad seems tense - oh, how she admires them for creating a family unit for Moses. Neil exits with the Reverend - for some fresh air - just missing Tucker and Devon. Noticing that the groom's gone, Sophia looks worried.

There's Neil - at the studio. Along comes Harmony. Hearing that Neil's just been wed, she asks - where's your bride?

Still at the chapel, Lily leaves a message for Neil - then assures Sophia that he's probably talking to Reverend Fulton. But here's the Reverend - Neil isn't here? Sophia frets to Tucker - her brand new husband's missing and she's not supposed to be worried? Tucker reassures - Neil's a man of character - he wouldn't desert you. He'll take her and Moses home.

Kay calls BS (to Nikki's determination that she can't beat this thing). Where have meeting's gotten her? A family - self respect..... Nikki cares not about her accomplishments - she just wishes she could change things. We can - together - let's get you back into recovery, Kay urges her weepy friend.

Nick joins Deacon at the bar - you're destroying my Mom's life, he snarls.

At the tree lot, the Ashby's discuss Neil taking off - what chance do they have? It might work, Cane's grateful Lily's so forgiving. Here we are - together. Before Lily can even get the invitation out, Cane accepts her invitation to spend Christmas with her and the kids.

Yes, Neil married his baby's Mama - Devon couldn't make it - Neil went out for fresh air - came to get Devon so he could have cake with them. Harmony's happy Moses will have a childhood Devon didn't. Neil shouldn't regret this decision. It just feels .... You're doing the right thing (which inspires Harmony to do the same). Don't screw up now. Feel me? Yeah, Neil feels her - and has to get back - to his ... wife.

At home, Sophia's got Moses down for a nap - and is ready for Tucker's 'I told you so'. He can't fault her for doing the right thing by Moses - but what does SHE want? Tucker encourages Sophia to tell Neil that she has feelings for him - when he gets home. Laying it all out there is the only way they stand a chance.

Kay wonders why Nikki's being so self destructive. She just likes to drink. Is it the articles? Does Nikki have anything to do with Diane's murder? You're only as sick as your secrets. Tell me! Crying, Nikki grabs her purse and runs out.

Downstairs, Deacon claims his feelings for Nikki are genuine - is this any way to speak to your stepfather? Standing, Deacon thinks the problem is that Nick would be more comfortable calling him Papa? Father? Daddy? Nick throws the first punch - and a whimpering Nikki, Harmony and Adam (along with Mr Lemon) all gather to watch the scuffle.

The bride's moping with a big blue teddy bear when her groom comes home - to sincerely apologize for disappearing. He went to find Devon. He had to get out of there. He doesn't want an annulment - does Sophia want out? She just doesn't understand. Neil explains that they were pretending to be the picture perfect couple - saying the right words - but we aren't the perfect couple. But - he wants to change those words. Taking Sophia's hand, Neil promises to love Moses - and work with Sophia to discover what this marriage can really be ~hug~ Not your typical wedding night, Neil states - then giving Sophia a kiss on her tear stained cheek, goes to check on Moses.

Getting cozy at the tree lot, Cane and Lily talk about what a wonderful Christmas they'll have. And after the kids go to bed .... ~kiss~

Devon joins Tucker at CL's - to give him 'props' - for what he said to Sophia (not throwing Neil under a bus). Tucker respects Neil (and the way he's been there for Devon). But - he's still not interested in working with Tucker - but - he'd like to pick his brain occasionally. Anytime, Tucker leaves pleased.

Are you alright? Nikki tenderly caresses Deacon's cheek. Watching, Kay needs Harmony's help - to get Nikki's sobriety back. As Nikki takes him upstairs, Deacon winks at Nick.

Victor has his reasons (for supporting Adam as CEO). On cue, Adam arrives - to announce that Nick handed him the victory (by assaulting Deacon in the middle of the club). He's met his Dad's challenge - and has the Newman blood in him. You just might, Victor smiles.

Next: Diane Jenkins? Phyllis frowns over Ronan's shoulder (as he checks email - entitled; a message from beyond the grave) ... You father and I will protect you - you don't have to worry, Nikki assures Vikki .... Jack visits Victor - You deserve to grow old here - after what you did to Kyle, and Billy.

My Thoughts: Line of the day goes to Adam; Nick shouldn't let his mind wander - it's too small to be out on it's own .... How exactly does Mike plan to 'take care of Nikki'? It'll be interesting to see how long it takes til he gets around to visiting her .... Nikki Newman, doing her impersonation of carpet - on the club's floor - and nary a photographer in site (not even an entrepreneurial staff member with his cell phone out - eager to sell the clip to 'Gingerman' - or upload it to View-click). Talk about a missed photo op .... Sure the wedding was last minute, but Sofia didn't even call Tucker? (who was totally stunned to hear about it) ... Oh Devon - don't worry too much about missing your Dad's wedding - you can always catch the next one ... If Devon doesn't trust Tucker enough to work with him - how can he trust any advice he gets while picking his brain? (he is the competition after all - and Devon still only has one client. What 'music' does he have to market and distribute?) .... If Nick assaulted Deacon (which he clearly did) - in the middle of the club - why didn't anyone call the police? If Deacon's in need of money, couldn't be use that to blackmail Nick (who has 500+ million in his bank account)? If not, it'd certainly be quicker to take Kay's offer. How long will it take him to squeeze money out of Nikki? And where's his kid, L'il D? ... The poor NE board members - quite a choice; two hotheaded law breakers. My vote would go to Lauren ... I wonder if it was Reverend Fulton who married Sophia to her groom's brother less than a year ago. No wonder he's fleeing his congregation. And how can he keep a straight face when including 'trust' and faithfulness' in the vows? .... Odd that Lily's asked if she wants to spend Christmas with Cane and the kids (like he's got custody - and she'd be visiting THEM) ... Doesn't Neil already know that Sophia has feelings for him? Wasn't that made obvious when she SLEPT with him?
