In NE's boardroom, Mike informs that Victor wants Adam to win the vote taking place shortly. Yeah, well, Lauren's voting with Vikki and Nick - they just need a swing vote. And here comes Mr Swing now. Hello Tucker, Lauren sashays over to schmooze.

Bumping into Adam at G-worm, Jack (Genevieve on his arm) isn't exactly waving flag Adam - but he won't be terribly upset if he beats his former stepson. Something about being all for economic growth etc. - especially if it benefits Jabot. Taking their seats, Jack gripes that Adam's burned him before. Yet he's willing to stick his hand back in the fire? Sure is - what's a little singe (to get BofN)?

Over at the bar, Deacon interrupts Chloe and Glo making wedding plans - he really needs to talk to her. Well Glo really needs him to cover some shifts - like tomorrow; Kevin and Chloe's wedding reception. No - and if Glo thinks THAT'S funny, she's gonna find this hilarious; I quit. Bye. Chloe needs his drink pouring abilities - and Glo knows lotsa ladies come in to look at his 'glutes'. Deacon's glutes are for his wife only. She needs all his love and attention right now.

Released into her kids care, Nikki's alert, sober - and knows exactly what she needs to do!

Go home, is the first thing Victor tells Sharon - through the glass. Is protecting Nikki worth it? Sharon doesn't budge.

Back at G-worm, Gloria does what no boss has done before - ask for two weeks notice. One lousy day? No can do - but Deacon hopes Chloe and Kevin will be as happy as him and his new wife. Have a nice day ladies (who jeer his overrated glutes). Before Chloe goes to check on Kevin and the decor, Glo thanks her for loving Kevin the way he deserves to be loved)

At the chapel, Kevin, Devon and Daniel are decorating. Hearing that Devon's composed music for the ceremony, Angie has the best idea EVER - she'll sing it! Kevin looks horrified.

In the boardroom, Lauren campaigns for Nick as CEO. Tucker knows all about Adam from Ashley. Lauren then turns her attention to the arriving board members - while Adam makes a beeline for Tucker (to smooth over their last conversation).

At G-worm, Nikki's coddled by her kids (whom she then sends off to the board meeting). Glo comes over to chat - and surprises Nikki with the news that Deacon has an alibi - he was there the whole night (Diane was killed).

On opposite sides of the glass, Sharon wonders if Nikki appreciates Victor's sacrifice blah blah blah. Listing all Victor did for her, Sharon won't walk away. Victor explains the difference; he BELONGS in here.

You can't! Kevin balks it's too kind. But Daddy will be happy, Angie exits singing. Chloe arrives to admire the decorations - but why is Mafia princess screeching - in the chapel? Surely Kevin wouldn't let her sing at their wedding!

Devon coaches Angie on how to sing the song like she means it. Her eyes on Kevin, Angie manages to hit a few notes (much to Devon's surprise). Is his implant on the fritz? Sent off to the studio, Angie comments that Daddy won't like Kevin passing his duty off to Devon and Daniel - and where are they going on the honeymoon? How many bikinis should she bring? Angie hustled out, Chloe puts her foot down - until Kevin talks of their beautiful house. We can honeymoon anytime. Seeing how disappointed Chloe is, Kevin promises to 'fix' it.

Glo and Angelo serve a congratulatory bottle of bubbly.  Perhaps they can host Jack and Genevieve's reception too. Taking the hint, Glo leaves Jack to gripe that she cost him Jabot. But it's now his - and will be bigger than ever. The new CEO of NE will have what Jack needs.

When Nikki arrives, Sharon leaves her to apologize - for being a drunken fool. She;s not 'ill' - she's a lush - possibly more (like a killer). Nikki was too drunk to remember what happened in the park - but is determined to find out what happened that night.

Mike calls the meeting to order then excuses himself - leaving a letter for the new CEO to read. Lauren explains that a majority vote of 4 will decide the winner. Going around the table, it's a tie - Tucker's the speed bump - he hasn't made up his mind yet.

Nikki explains how Deacon duped her into marrying him (when he really didn't see anything at the park). None of this is Nikki's fault, Victor offers to handle Deacon. No - Nikki wants that pleasure herself.

Jack insists on a speedy wedding - January? Someone's impatient. Someone's in love. And as he calls the rectory - to make plans, Angelo comes over to flirt with Genevieve. He's alarmed when Kevin arrives - without Angie. We need to discuss that - away from sharp instruments, Kevin replies.

At the studio, Chloe gushes about Kevin (to Daniel - who talks about love - and LOVE). Before they get to the alter, he thinks she and Kevin should figure out if they share upper or lower case love.

Back at NE, Nick (supported by Lauren) toots his own horn - while Vikki slams Adam. Other board members side with Adam. He's morally bankrupt, Vikki maintains. But Nick punched a guy at the club yesterday. Around and around it goes - Tucker's vote in the balance (as he mulls over both options).

Chloe knows what she feels - upper case LOVE. And tomorrow (she assures Daniel) she's gonna capitol love Kevin forever!

Behind the glass, Angie butchers the song. Devon wonders what happened to her mojo - the one she had at the church - we need to get that back. Only Chloe seems to realize the mojo is Kevin.

Meanwhile, at G-worm, Kevin doesn't want to take Angie on his honeymoon. Angelo understands - but the house won't have a fireplace. Kevin's encouraged to make his next request - but is cut off (when Angelo gets all excited to hear that Angie's singing at his wedding). If Kevin lets Carmine anywhere near Angie, she'll be singing at his funeral.

Wait - don't go yet! Sharon rushes in to plead. About to exit, Victor hears her appeal - Sharon won't walk away from him - she won't be scared off - there's nothing he can do about it. Taking a seat, Victor says 'ok - I'm listening'.

As soon as Kevin arrives at the studio (with Angelo), Angie's singing improves. Dragging him front and center, Angie sings to Kevin. That's what I'm talking about, Devon's excited. Angelo notices that Angie sings to Kevin like he's her hero. Chloe agrees she can sing at the wedding - but the honeymoon's off.

At the chapel, Jack's arranged the wedding for January. Oh how lucky they are to have found one another. Jack's not always a good man - following rules is overrated. Genevieve has no problem with that - she's  a rule breaker too.

Tucker takes risks in business - and has been hassled by the SEC himself. This is about money - and his vote goes to Adam (who does the math and accepts the job as CEO). Read that letter, Tucker suggests. Adam would be happy to. Victor talks of standing behind the CEO. You won't regret this decision, Adam promises.

The gang at the studio marvel at Angie's talent. Kevin can't wait for her to sing at the wedding. She won't be coming on the honeymoon though. Hallelujah, Chloe praises Devon on the song. Angie then disappears - to call Carmine - she needs his help.

Jack gets a text. Wow - Adam did it - he's CEO. Whatever it takes to get what he wants.

Lauren exits snarling at the board members who voted for Adam - while Nick and Vikki confront Tucker - what the hell was he thinking? Tucker reminds of Victor's letter - asking them to stand by the CEO. Nick will alright - to make sure Adam doesn't ruin the company.

At CL's, Sharon gives Adam the cold shoulder - then is stunned to hear he won the job of CEO. Congratulations - now he has everything he wants. Everything? No - Adam clearly wants HER.

Victor informs Mike that Adam's win is according to his plan. It damn well better work, Mike worries. It is already, Victor assures.

At G-worm's bar, Nikki confronts Deacon - who was HERE - not at the park. He better get his job back - cause he won't be leeching off her! She wants this marriage annulled. How much will it cost to get rid of him (she's ready to write a check). All Deacon wants is Nikki. But she's taking her life back - as of NOW!

Next: Tag team - Cane and Lily each have a baby in their lap. We've always been good partners, she smiles ... Kay tells Jill -  this is a Christmas surprise. Your surprises have a way of backfiring, Jill chuckles ... Devon walks into the chapel - to see Harmony fussing over Summer. Tonight is gonna be just wonderful, she assures.


My Thoughts: Jack's been burned by Adam? I seem to recall Adam was the one who spent time behind bars for Victor's forged diary. He also too the town (and Newman family's) wrath for it. Despite Jack gloating - in Victor's living room - that he did it (and got away with it), he came out of it smelling like a rose. No one ever confronted Jack about it .... Lots women come to G-worm to look at Deacon's glutes? He hasn't tended bar in months - and how much can you see when the bartender's behind a bar? ... Go home, Victor firmly tells Sharon (you know, if she was a horse - in a spaghetti western - he could just slap her ass and she'd be on her way)....
