In Ronan's motel room, he updates Paul - after showing the diary page around, Diane didn't sleep with Adam or Jack the night before she was murdered. As for Deacon's alibi, Paul spoke to a woman who waited for over an hour for her favourite bartender to come back from his break - to make her favourite cocktail. Now to pin down Deacon's whereabouts. Both think he's directly involved - but did he even know the woman.

Yup - that's video of Deacon and Diane having sex. Zooming in to a newspaper on the desk, it's July 31st, 2011 - the day before Diane was murdered. OMG - Nikki's gotta get to Victor right away.

Sharon arrives at the prison as summoned - to hear that the warden's approved their wedding ceremony - it's set for tonight.

On the CL's patio, Ashley hangs up with Abby (who's upset about the RS article). Victor doesn't care how his children feel - about him marrying Sharon (she gripes to Tucker).

In NE's CEO office, Adam packs up framed photos; Vikki, Victor and Nick. He pauses over one of Hope (which he puts on his desk, instead of the cardboard box). He then summons the reception to remove the box (not caring where it goes). And it's back to moping over his Mom's photo.

In the middle of sumthin' major, Angelo tells Dino to call him later - then buys Jimmy's bar a round (to celebrate Glo becoming 'his gal'). Starting today, Gloria's gonna be treated like she's never been before - like the queen she is - he'll make all her dreams come true. Wrapped in a bear hug, she doesn't look too thrilled.

Kevin can't believe it's HIM - Jeff comes to on the cabin's floor. Kevin? Did Gloria send you to rescue me? Arms folded, a scowling Kevin scoffs - you dumped her and took off with all her money? I'd never, Jeff's indignant.

Sharon whines about Noah and her Mom yelling at her. No, Nick's not too happy - he quit NE. Victor needs Sharon to be his eyes and ears - move to the ranch (where his wife belongs).

Back at the office, Adam goes over a BofN press release. Unwilling to wait until the next board meeting, he asks his secretary to gather the board members. The agenda? Beauty of Nature.

Returning to an empty suite, Deacon flashes back to Nikki on his laptop. You lied to me Nikki - again. What was she looking for?

Warning Phyllis to keep this a secret, Nikki confides that she married Deacon in exchange for his silence. She was a mess - terrified - drinking - but she's thinking clearly now. Deacon's cunning and smart. They can't let on that they're on to him. Ronan? No - he wasn't interested in what Nikki had to say. I know what I'm doing (Nikki's off to show Victor the footage). This won't end well, Nick frets (as his Mom marches out).

Jeffrey claims Angelo did this to him - leaving him marooned on this island - with only Squishy, the football, for company. He wouldn't leave Gloria willingly - or take her money (and is insulted that anyone would think that). Kevin's supposes Angelo's capable of that (while not so sure, Angie introduces herself). After the whole bookie thing went belly up, Jeff's relieved Angelo didn't just have him whacked. I'll kill him, Jeff snarls (hearing that Angelo's putting the move on Gloria). Easy tiger - it's totally one sided - Mom misses you (God knows why).

How sweet of Angelo - to buy the bar a round (to toast to them). You wanna see sweet? Let's take this party private. And when Glo pretends to be insulted, Angelo grovels. No - she's not mad - but - she just agreed to go steady - it's too soon for 'private' stuff.

Back at the tackhouse, Phyllis thinks Nikki's right - they can't push Deacon too hard. But - he HAS always been hot for her. Nick quickly rejects the idea of Phyllis 'seducing' him.

What did you look at? What are you trying to get on me? a nervous Deacon leaves a 'call me' message for Nikki - let's meet for a drink.

Well - Sharon should get going - to check on Faith - and change for their wedding. Nikki arrives - needing to speak to Victor in private. Fine - Sharon has things to do anyway. I'll see you my darling, Victor makes Nikki's stomach turn. Now alone, Victor tells Nikki that he's marrying Sharon tonight. Not invited, he sends Nikki home to her sleazeball husband. Nikki needs to tell him the truth - she married Deacon because he claimed to have seen Vikki and him kill Diane. Unsympathetic, Victor thinks it ridiculous that she fell for that. You didn't kill Diane? Nikki doesn't remember much - but is convinced Deacon's the killer.

Arriving at Jimmy's, Deacon's greeted by Angelo - drinks are on me. Thanks Ang. Ordering vodka at the bar, Deacon gets a call from his favourite magazine editor - who's doing a story on the Victor/Sharon debacle. He'd like to interview him (on how it effects Nikki). Jimmy's? Phyllis is on her way. Nick scowls.

Gloria's been burned so many times - she'd love some old fashioned courting. Some things are worth waiting for - Glo's gonna see courtin' like it's never been done before.

Eager to get home to Gloria, Jeff's told they can't - they need to lay low for a while. Jeff agrees - they need to ambush Angelo (the way he did to him). He'll go for fresh water (while Kevin's to start a fire - there's coffee and matches in that cupboard).

Mrs Victor Newman, Adam sneers at Sharon - who reminds of the restraining order (so move along). Wanting to buy a wedding gift, Adam wonders where they're registered - or should he just get plexiglass cleaner? Don't do this, Sharon implores. Inches away, Adam won't cause trouble. Congratulations, he says in parting.

Nikki holds her tablet to the plexiglass - to show Victor the video of Diane and Deacon having sex. He could have killed her! I'll be damned, Victor mutters. If Deacon's the killer, Nikki's innocent - you've been taking the fall for the wrong person!

Still on the patio, Tucker's summoned back to work via text. Abby will be fine - she's strong - like you ~kiss~ On his way out, Tucker's accosted by Adam - we need to talk. Seems the text was from Adam - what's with the emergency meeting? Adam wants Tucker to meet him at his office. Meanwhile, Sharon mosey's onto the patio. Have you lost your mind? Ashley fires.

Disguised in a baseball cap, Nick enters Jimmy's - Phyllis arriving seconds later - to join Deacon. Here's to us - continuing to 'get lucky' they toast.

Nikki knows she needs more that a sex tape to implicate Deacon - and that he's dangerous. She can't go to Ronan (he just thinks she's deflecting suspicion away from herself). Go to Paul then. Nikki knows why Victor put himself in prison - and why he's pushing her away. But don't do anything rash - like marry Sharon. Nikki's doing everything she can to free him - but needs time. Victor can only promise that he'll think about it.

Back at Jimmy's, Glo gets a chill - and Angelo's coat. Oh what a gentleman he is. Jeff never deserved her - Angelo will make her forget that loser ever existed.

Angie finds nothing of use in the box Jeff directed them too - certainly not matches or coffee. Wonder what's taking him so long. Yanking open the cabin's door, Kevin screams - noooo. He stole the boat! Left us stranded here!! (news which doesn't upset Angie one bit).

One call, Victor's handed a cell phone - and left to instruct Mike to be on stand by. He's not sure this wedding's gonna happen.

Meeting Paul and Ronan at the motel, Nikki's informed that her information was confirmed - Deacon DID skip out of G-worm the night Diane was murdered. Somehow they need to tie him to Diane. Oh boy - can Nikki do that!

As Nick hovers in the shadows, Phyllis continues to flirt and drink with Deacon. Declaring him young and hot, she wonders why he's with dried up old Nikki. Deacon tells Phyllis not to hold back. She's willing to bear it all - so sad he's taken. Yes - he and Nikki have an 'arrangement'. Good - let's take it back to Deacon's - he can bring his camera - for the interview. What made you say that!? Deacon grabs her wrist - which brings Nick racing over. Scowling at both, Deacon exits (leaving Phyllis to scold Nick for interrupting).

Seated with Ashley, Sharon's sorry to hear that Abby's struggling with it - but she's marrying Victor tonight.

In Adam's office, Tucker's told that he's summoning the board to authorize the sale of BofN. He's offering Tucker info that'll ensure he puts in the highest bid - but wants something in return.

Having watched the video, Ronan and Paul now have their connection - and must go over all the evidence with fresh eyes. Ronan doesn't have access - but Paul might be able to get it. Telling Nikki to retain hope, Paul leaves Ronan to inform Nikki that he received a snippet of film - her passed out, bloodied in the park. Damn good chance Deacon took both footage (on an outdated camera that uses Super 8 film) - both of which need to be found. Finally they'll have a case against Deacon - and Nikki will be able to free Victor.

Over drinks, Phyllis blames Nick for ruining everything. Looks like Deacon's onto them - God knows what he'll do next.

Visit Victor - that's what. We've got a problem, Deacon says. Victor knows about the tape - did he kill Diane? Fine! Deacon shows Victor what he's been hiding (a photo of Nikki scrapping it out with Diane on the bridge). Take a good look at THAT!

Next: Might he have left something behind here? Something that could be a clue? (in the alley, crouched behind a dumpster, Nikki spies on a suspicious looking Deacon) ... If you've changed your mind, it's all right, Sharon assures Victor ... Ronan strolls down the alley - Nikki? You out here? He comes to a stop when something behind the dumpster catches his interest.

My Thoughts: That framed photo of Hope must be the most unflattering shot EVER. Looks like Lily took it. Being blind, I guess Hope couldn't see it - and who's gonna tell her she looks like crap? Looks like the photographer didn't tell her to say 'cheese' - or perhaps wasn't aware that blind people are capable of smiling ... Odd that Victor's hung onto that photo - while there's none of Sabrina around ... Inadvertently funny line of the day goes to Ashley (asking Sharon; have you lost your mind?) This from a woman who's had moe mental break downs than Lyndsay Lohan's had arrests ....
