Nikki and Jack discuss Victor using Chelsea and Anita to disrupt Vikki and Billy's marriage - and lying to Nikki's face about it. He's sorry Victor let her down again. He's never gonna change - you know that don't you?

'The master' welcomes Genevieve into his suite. She's immediately impressed with the ambience - and that Victor's done his homework (serving the right bubbly). Does he usually conduct business this way? This is how he conducts business with HER.

At G-worm, Paul gives the Abbott's his report on Anita; a small time grifter with a long criminal record. Chelsea, her partner, has a record too (not nearly as extensive). How dangerous are they? If they were under Paul's roof, he wouldn't take his eyes off them.

Anita denies she's blown their cover to hell - we've got the goods. Chelsea panics - what if the Abbott's throw us out on the streets?! Anita knows how to handle it - let's go find them.

At CL's, Avery states the obvious; 'I'm back'. Our father is ill - doesn't Phyllis wanna know how he's doing?

Though Phyllis doesn't want any updates on 'George', Avery takes a seat - how can you not care? Phyllis LEFT her happy family in Connecticut (and never looked back). Our father is dying, Avery updates anyway.

So - how to use this info, Vikki thinks the bossy Anita is starting to annoy Chelsea (who WAS on the verge of giving them the baby). Paul wouldn't trust anything these con artists stay - don't believe any deals until you see it. Oh look who's here. Chelsea at her side, Anita announces (before they hear it elsewhere) that Victor Newman brought them here. And as Vikki runs out after Chelsea, Billy sits Anita down - for the details.

Pacing, Nikki could understand a father protecting his daughter - but Victor's obsessed with destroying Vikki's marriage to Billy (who deserves a second chance). Jack knows that Victor will never accept Billy (because he's HIS brother). But how could Victor lie to her? Slipping that he's out of town, Nikki reluctantly admits he's seeing Genevieve.

After a marvelous candlelit dinner (all Genevieve's favourites), Victor boasts that he likes pleasing his employees. Good to know - IF Genevieve decides to work for him - but no more business talk. They then discuss museums.

Phyllis KNOWS what hospice is - and no - still doesn't care. As Avery continues to try drag some compassion out of her, Phyllis is sure George doesn't care if she came back. Admitting their father didn't ask about Phyllis, Avery claims it's because he thinks it hopeless. Go to him - make amends, she implores.

What's Anita's 'angle' (in outing Victor). Yes - angle? It's what you're best at, Paul reads off her long list of charges. Who the hell is he? Billy introduces his long-time friend (and PI) - who goes to dig up more dirt (leaving Billy to assume Anita's after money). Victor doesn't think you're good enough for his daughter - but I think you'd be perfect for mine, Anita makes Billy snicker.

Chasing Chelsea onto the patio, Vikki needs to know everything - how far back her involvement with Victor goes. Was she paid to seduce Billy? No - that was all Chelsea (who met Victor when he came to get Billy out of prison). He made it worth her while to 'stay in touch'. How much did Victor pay Chelsea to come cause trouble in GC? Enough obviously. Vikki knows her father likes to sweeten the pot - is there a bonus if Chelsea breaks her and Billy up?

As the waiter clears up, Victor boasts of buying a famous tapestry. Genevieve would love to come see it. Well, if she sells BofN back to Victor, she can hang it in her office. Tempting - but Gen's more concerned about what she'd be doing in that office. And how will his children feel about an outsider having control? Victor can't do anything right with his ('pain in the ass') kids anyway. Relating, Genevieve's wit invokes laughter from TGVN.

Nikki's sorry she mentioned Genevieve. S'OK - Jack assumes they're discussing BofN (another of Victor's obsessions). Nikki's surprised when Nick hobbles in (invited by 'rookie' Jack to tag along for his therapy). Hearing that Megan's never seen anyone (in Jack's situation) walk again, Nikki launches into a pep talk - she has every faith he'll make it happen. Jack sure would love to go kick Victor and Genevieve's butts.

Having seen Chelsea's record, Vikki'd LIKE to believe that she wants a better life for this baby (and out of Anita's scheme to fleece Billy) - and might - if Chelsea reveals what Victor enticed her with (to break their marriage up). You can't guess? A chance with Billy, Chelsea confides.

Your end game is for me and Chelsea to live happily ever after? Billy giggles. Never gonna happen. Well - Chelsea does what Mama tells her too (with the right incentive it could go the way Billy and Vikki want). How's this for incentive? By the time Billy gets home, Anita better be gone. Then Chelsea goes too - and your SON, Anita suggests he rethink his strategy.

Nikki and Paul are at G-worm too - discussing Victor's involvement (and lies), when Anita gives Paul a little bump (and smile) on her way out. Paul echo's Jack - with Victor, deceit is part of the package.

All charm, Victor predicts a tranquil working relationship. Tranquil scares the hell outta Genevieve - too boring. The topic then turns personal. Victor can't deny his irresistible pull towards Nikki. It's a bitch ain't it, genevieve gets him giggling again. The corporate world is like a romantic relationship, Victor opines - the highs n lows - the passion - all Genevieve has to say is 'yes'.

Nick hovers as ex marine Jack works his upper body - butting heads with his therapist (because he wants to WALK). All turn to watch - as another therapist bullies his patient mercilessly. After the patient rushes off in tears, Jack confronts 'Sarge' for his harsh tactics.

Told that Phyllis won't be going to make any amends, Avery asks how she can be so cold - the man's on his deathbed! You really have no feelings for him? None? Avery feels very sorry for her. Yes - she's done (but leaves the facility address). Do what you want with that information.

Seated with Paul, Nikki wonders if Victor even knows what he's unleashed on his own daughter. Vikki calls - no - everything is NOT OK - Dad ... Yes - he's at it again, Nikki sighs.

Victor and Genevieve continue to charm one another - but gets more serious when Victor claims he knew her relationship with Jack wouldn't last.

That's how you get the best outta people!? - embarrassing a patient - like they have no feelings? FYI, that woman was never supposed to be able to move her fingers - now she CAN (and WILL be back). Sarge defends his techniques (which get results).

Anita joins Chelsea in the Abbott living room (to defend spewing their biggest secret). Smart move!? I want you gone! Then you leave too - Anita won't leave Chelsea with strangers - they'll screw you over - stick with Mama. Ding dong - Paul walks in. He knows the Abbott's aren't home - he's here to see Chelsea.

At CL's, Nikki's with Vikki (who updates that Chelsea actually thought she had a chance with Billy cause Dad told her to go for it). Nikki suggests Vikki move out for a while - steer clear of those people. On cue, Billy arrives to agree. Moving out is the best way to keep Vikki safe.

Work out done, Jack sends his therapist and Nick off - then watches Sarge bully his patient into lifting a spoon to her mouth. Their session done, Sarge gloats - told ya she'd be back. He can't be Jack's therapist (he's booked - and unimpressed that his family built this wing of GCM). Tomorrow noon, Sarge agrees - thinking it won't take long to prove Jack doesn't have what it takes.

Arriving at G-worm, Avery's on the phone with Daisy (who's thrilled to hear she might be released soon). And can she get custody of Lucy? be a full time Mom to her? Yes - if Avery has anything to say about it.

Nick meets Phyllis on the patio - what's wrong? Phyllis updates - and shares her inner conflict. Talking about Victor going to see HIS father before he died, Nick suggests she'll have closure. Phyllis can't do it. I can't go back there (she weeps on Nick's shoulder).

Ignoring Anita for the most part, Paul introduces himself to Chelsea - he's given the Abbott's (and Nikki) a complete dossier on their past - and if they hurt his friends, they'll feel his wrath (and be put away for a very long time). Ladies, Paul sees himself out (leaving Chelsea to snap at her mother - you're gonna ruin everything!)

At CL's, Vikki appreciates their concern - but will stand by the husband she loves. Promise to be careful, Nikki warns - we can't let our guard down. Billy chuckles - Anita and Chelsea are amateurs compared to Victor.

Not rattled by Victor's comment on Jack, Genevieve continues to match Victor with giggling and flirting. Declining dessert, it's time she leaves - thanking Victor for a lovely evening. Showing her out, Victor notes that she hasn't given him an answer. You know where to find me, Gen's invitation is clear (pausing once the door closes to look utterly smitten). Have a nice evening, Victor checks his watch (seemingly back in business mode).

Next: A furious Mike spits through clenched teeth at Avery - if you think I'm gonna stand by while you free her then you're as crazy as she is ... Adam and Sharon roll around in bed, kissing ... If you don't go see your Dad, this is never gonna be finished for you.

My Thoughts: Love Paul's infusion of comic relief (taking an exaggerated deep breath when reading Anita's long list of charges) ... Take things 'a step at a time' - ha ha - that's a real funny thing to say to someone stuck in a wheelchair ... How cheap IS Phyllis? Note how many sugar packets she shoves in her purse as she's talking to Avery. No wonder Kevin's business isn't making him rich ... Oh good - Paul's gonna keep an eye on the situation with Vikki/Anita/Chelsea. That's reassuring - he's SUCH a great PI (who doesn't even have the sense to check his pockets when a woman who's crimes he's JUST listed bumps into him! Er - didn't those charges include pickpocket? Paul) ... What!? VIKKI should move out of her OWN home?! And leave Billy with two women bound and determined to latch onto him? (one of which already has - hence the baby). Like Vikki hasn't been humiliated enough? Thank God she didn't go along with this idiotic idea. First step though - is for the Abbott's to start locking their front door - and making it clear that Chelsea and Anita are welcome to stay in the apartment above the garage (NOT walk around THEIR place like they own it) But since they ARE (why not make use of their extensive criminal records - and have them arrested for swiping some trinkets or petty cash?) How easy would it be to set em up? Those two may 'amateurs' - but one's already managed to rope you on once Billy - so it's not so much your 'guard' you've gotta keep up Billy, but your zipper .... I get that Avery's emotional because her Dad's dying - and Phyllis won't play bereaved daughter alongside her - but - freeing Daisy - and using Lucy to punish/hurt Phyllis will be a huge mistake (mostly for Lucy). If George is that close to dying, why is Avery at a coffee shop in GC? Sorry - but I've already tuned out on any Phyllis/George storyline (the reason for Phyllis leaving was far too anticlamatic). Did he ask about me? No - ONLY because he thinks it hopeless (not because the man's on his deathbead after suffering a stroke? Maybe he's not capable of speech Phyllis) ... Not sure what's more nauseating; Genevieve's simpering at her 'master's' feet - or the pompous Victor's forced laughter.. I don't know about Sarge's methods - but - if that woman's gonna be feeding herself real soup tomorrow - I'm hoping it's Chunky - and luke warm as opposed to scalding hot. Just sayin'.
