Home from France, Victor's somewhat surprised that Nikki's still angry. Let's talk about it - there's nothing to worry about, his cavalier attitude leaves Nikki shaking her head.

At G-worm with Billy, Vikki's delighted to hear that Chelsea's leaning towards letting them raise the baby - and thank God Anita's gone. You folks ready to order? the bane of their existence is of course their waitress for the evening.

As a nervous Sharon continues to drive through the storm - so do the radio warnings. At home in the dark, Adam's nervously listening too - a bridge has been washed out.

At the courthouse, a frustrated Mike leaves yet another message for Phyllis - but is able to reach Daniel. I have some disturbing news - about Daisy.

In the courtroom, Daisy's all set to go get her daughter. Wait - Avery must file motions etc. Visitation rights don't include showing up on Phyllis' doorstep. No, she doesn't know - or she'd have been here - fighting with everything she's got.

I heard you were sick. Yes, Phyllis heard her father was dying. Came to see for yourself? Well ... what? George sends a mumbling Phyllis scurrying into the hallway to look stressed.

Regrouping, Phyllis goes back into her father's room - I'm gonna do this - we're gonna talk, she mutters. George has nothing to say to her. Your conscience is clear? Phyllis won't get whatever she's after - go home. You ruined me, he accuses.

Daisy's thought of nothing but her daughter. Phyllis will 'lose it', Avery doesn't think aggravating Phyllis is the best move. Let Mike smooth things over. You think Mike's gonna help you?! Lauren appears to snarl. You're never getting your hands on that little girl. Daisy points out that Lauren deprived her of her mother - NOT her little girl. Don't let her suck you in, Mike cautions Lauren. And as Daisy exits, Lauren snarls at Avery - you let her loose on this town - whatever happens is on YOUR head.

Back at G-worm, Anita updates that Gloria was kind enough to give her job - so she can welcome her first grandchild. Not worried that Chelsea doesn't want her around, Anita's sure she'll be needed. SHE'S not the kind to abandon family. Given 'a moment', Vikki isn't reassured that Chelsea signed away her parental rights - all bets are off. Billy could kill Victor (for bringing Anita here). Vikki's sure Nikki's got that covered.

Enough stalling - how involved IS Victor in this mess? 'Of course' Victor didn't send send Chelsea to Myanmar (to seduce Billy). Unapologetic, he kept in touch with Chelsea because Billy couldn't be trusted (to stay away from Vikki; who's delusional when it comes to him). At least HE doesn't lie to his wife, Nikki snips. Integrity? Victor loudly lists Billy's actions. Damn right he's 'justified' (in keeping Vikki away from that scum). He won't apologize for a damn thing. Cheers! Victor drinks.

At the penthouse, Daniel calls out to the nanny - but is stunned when it's Daisy who comes downstairs carrying Lucy.

Giving the press a quote, a 'blase' Avery hangs up. She understands why Lauren would have no compassion for Daisy (who's own abuse was proven with the video). She adores her daughter. Listing all she did for Daisy, Lauren's frustrated that Avery's not listening (and believes Daisy wants to end this 'cycle of abuse'). Mark my words - you'll one day hate yourself for what you've done today, Lauren marches out - leaving Mike to finish with sarcasm (are all Avery's childhood wounds healed now?). This has nothing to do with Phyllis, Avery insists - then is stunned to hear she's with her father.

I'm still the bad guy? I forced you to rip those people off? George maintains his innocence - the money was lost in the market. Both speaking at once, George claims 'the other two' made a deal - threw him under the bus. I DID come to you - you lied (like now). She did NOT want to believe he was guilty - but did NOT want a con man for a father (or to be shunned by her mother and sister). Phyllis is NOT playing the victim - she stopped being the victim when she left.

Jacket on, Adam heads outside. 'Smoke', he coughs - OMG, the barn's on fire!

Opening the barn door, Adam coughs out a call to 911 - lightening struck the barn at the Wilson farm. I'm blind - I need someone her fast! The operator can't get anyone out immediately - there's a multi car pile up on route 50 - and the roads are flooded.

Victor sure had no qualms sending Nikki to lie to Vikki - making her an accomplice. But no - she's not worried about Vikki blaming her - she thought they were rebuilding their life together. On the subject of 'trust', Victor brings up her marriage to Deacon, Nikki doesn't see the comparison - she was trying to protect him and Vikki. And that's exactly what Victor did. Nikki's a hypocrite.

Still at G-worm, Vikki pulls out her phone (to get Mike to finalize the agreement). Billy doesn't wanna be too aggressive (which might push Chelsea back to Anita). OK - let's do it, he agrees. And when Anita comes back to take their order, the Abbott's leave.

Lauren's called Fen's school - he can't leave with anyone but them. Mike reassures - we're safe now. No - we can't let our guard down. Lauren leaves Mike to take Vikki's call - she'll meet him at G-worm.

As the fire rages, Adam pulls out a hose. Mom, help me out, he looks to the heavens - then attaches the nozzle and unrolls the hose.

At the courthouse, the Abbott's really appreciate this. Documents in hand, Mike warns that prenatal custody agreements aren't always ironclad. Billy's just glad to be doing it legally this time.

She said she was family - I had no idea, the nanny leaves with apologies (and instructions not to let Daisy in again). Not caring WHAT Daisy's lawyer told her, she does NOT have a 'right' to be there. And Daniel can't believe Daisy wonders why he hates her so much. Sarah forced you to drug me? Have sex with me? Get pregnant? he sneers. Her thinking influenced by Sarah, Daisy (the victim) also talks about breaking the cycle of abuse - to be a good person and mother. Daisy wants someone to love her - Lucy's the only one on the planet who does.

Following the hose back to the faucet, Adam turns it frantically to get water pressure. Go baby go! Oh God - I hope it's enough!

Home and all smiles, the Abbott's sit Chelsea down. Vikki's impressed - under pressure to use this baby, Chelsea's instead making the best decision for him. Billy repeats - they'll ensure Chelsea doesn't have to depend on anyone ever again. It's not a payoff - they'll help Chelsea achieve her goals - her son will be proud of her. But when faced with the paper that'll revoke her parental rights, Chelsea looks conflicted.

Still holding Lucy, Daniel scoffs - you think she loves you? Daisy carried her - sang and talked to her. Yeah - but she doesn't recognize you. Reminding that Phyllis stole her from the Abbott's (even when Daniel told her not to), Daisy wonders why Phyllis was so obsessed with Lucy. She believes family should stick together, Daniel explains.

As Phyllis gives a coughing George a cup of water, Avery arrives - in time to hear George say 'we're done'. Phyllis denies she ruined his life. George doesn't owe Phyllis anything. Reminiscing about the good ole days, Phyllis wonders why he made her family hate her. You made me leave. Outside, Avery tears up. No - it was you, George gasps. Phyllis refuses to leave - I'm not going! You're dying - we won't see each other again. She wants the truth!

Sharon finds Adam resting on a hay bale. You went into a burning barn!? she scolds - then reassures that the barn and horses are OK. You did it - you're amazing ~hug~

Arriving at G-worm with Fen, Mike leaves a message for Lauren. Meanwhile, she's at a shooting range. The target paper's wheeled in - to show Lauren's a pretty good shot (along with some shots to the heart, the photo of Daisy has a hole in the center of her forehead). Lauren nods with satisfaction - and an icy smirk.

Say good bye to Mommy, Daisy chirps. Bye bye, Daniel snaps - get out before I call social services. And Daisy WON'T be 'back soon' if his Mom has anything to say about it. She doesn't! Daisy marches out.

You did this to me - made me like this - took away my life - my home - my family. Admit you took money from those people, Phyllis insists - admit it to me. You did it, didn't you? Yes, George weakly replies. In the hallway, Avery's even more surprised by the confession.

Assuming Chelsea will want a lawyer of her choice to look over the documents, Billy offers to pay for it. No - Chelsea doesn't need time either - she'll sign now - IF they promise she can be part of the baby's life. That's the deal - take it or leave it. The Abbott's are fine with that. Chelsea signs.

Is Nikki going somewhere? Well, she's not staying here - and a horseback ride won't clear her head. She's not angry - that does no good. Victor will never change. Victor won't apologize for who he is - we love each other. Nikki won't change either. So .... off she goes.

Next: Nick finds Daisy at the penthouse door - I have a legal right to see my daughter. I brought these as proof .... Does Angelo have something on you? Mike quietly asks Kevin ... Avery looks distressed (as Phyllis badgers her father again). Tell her - you were rightly accused and convicted of stealing money from those people.

My Thoughts: Phyllis never bothered to tell the nanny about Daisy Carter? The nanny never read anything in the newspapers? Daisy may have a right to see Lucy - but NOT in Phyllis' home ... Daisy was such a big story - why isn't there any press at her hearing? ... Phyllis would be fighting with 'everything she's got'? What exactly IS that (other than Mike)? She repeats herself over and over - quite a champion for 'those people' and the truth. 'You made me like this' she screeches repeatedly. Blaming others is a trait father and daughter share. She's outraged that George took something that didn't belong to him - kinda like her stealing Ricky's photos from Avery - or Nick from Sharon (cause her obsession with family 'sticking together sure didn't extend to the family Nick had with Sharon) ... Avery's a fine one to talk about putting the child's interest first (since she's clearly using Lucy to hurt Phyllis) .... Lauren 'deprived' Daisy of a mother? Boo hoo - Daisy had no qualms about depriving Fen of a mother ... Gloria must be desperate for staff (though you'd think she'd just rehire all those who quit when she wasn't able to pay them). Anita is hardly fine dining waitress material - sounds like she did most of her serving career in truck stop diners .... If Victor has 'a lot of things' to talk to Nikki about, why didn't he make any attempt to change the subject. He may not feel the need to apologize for his actions - but he certainly should have apologized for lying to Nikki (as it seems to be what she's most pissed off about). I'm sure Nikki'd be even more upset if she knew Victor had Genevieve in his suite for candlelight dinner and champagne .... Adam's 'amazing'? For putting a fire out 'all by himself'? It really IS incredible - since Adam wasn't even holding or directing the hose. I guess the flames were all on the ground. Emergency response can't make it to the farm, but Sharon can? I guess they have no helicopters? No snowmobiles? .... 'Of course' Victor didn't send Chelsea to Myanmar to seduce Billy - but he did hire a hooker to accost him at the club .... How Chelsea got to town is 'immaterial'? I guess it's immaterial that Victor brought Patty to town too. Cheers? Kinda cruel of Victor to show off his drink - considering Nikki's a recovering alcoholic who's just had a relapse ...

Note to subscribers: It seems there's a problem. My apologies. I'm going to look for another solution (as gmail isn't consistently reliable). I'll have to go through my bounce backs (if it doesn't return to me, it's possible it's in your spam box - so please check there). I'll keep y'all posted. Makes no sense to me why it's working for some but not all. Grrr. I'll keep you posted. OK - I just checked - and 7 bounced back to me. I'll have to check those addressed (and the reason given for non delivery). And just to remind, please don't reply to the spoilers. I don't get the messages.
