At the office, Victor updates Nick - Genevieve took great pleasure in announcing Vikki as BofN's CEO. Think I'm gonna just let this go? Think again.

Snuggling in bed, Adam's not felt this good in a long time - and what's this on Sharon's hand? Adam knows Sharon doesn't consider herself engaged - he just wants it on her finger. He woke up yesterday a different person - hard to describe. Try, Sharon encourages.

At CL's, Ricky's got a visitation order - to see Aunt Patty. He flashes back to her confessing that Adam helped her escape (and now - to get it on tape). He hides the paper when Paul marches over to growl - what the hell do you think you're doing?!

In Jack's room, Ashley ends a call with Tucker - and updates Traci that all's going well in Dallas. Heading back to New York, Traci worries about leaving Jack - but he's in good hands. Both worry that Jack's wish to walk again won't happen. A new therapist brings hope - but is it false hope?

Sarge helps Jack learn to sit up unassisted. Focus! Not bad for your first time, he gives reluctant praise. Grunting, Jack won't let Patty win (assuming she hopes he'll never walk).

Who's my pretty girl? Phyllis gushes over Lucy - then wakes up from her nap - to look at the empty bassinet, head in her hands; devastated.

Is Lucy back? Summer wonders if she'll get to see her sometimes. Phyllis doesn't have the answer to that.

Nick doesn't have time to dwell on BofN - Phyllis is in a lotta pain; her father died - Daisy got Lucy back - it's killing Phyllis. Victor's sorry to hear it - but he needs Nick too (to talk sense into Vikki). After Nick leaves, Victor gets a surprise visitor ...

You made a request to see Patty? Paul told him to stay away. Ricky didn't realize it was permanent - he just wants to see how his Aunt's doing (which Paul has a hard time believing).

Still in bed, Adam unburdens himself to Sharon - at first defeated, he's gained confidence doing things Hope used to do (and managing to extinguish the fire). He IS the man his mother thought he was. Adam's grateful Sharon brought him to the farm - and now he can handle anything that comes his way - at home - in GC.

Vikki has some news - which Victor's already been told (by Genevieve). He hopes she's reconsidered (betraying him by working for a company that's rightfully his). Vikki accepting the job has nothing to do with 'the damn company' - it's about ME, Victor snarls.

Ricky a liar? Well - he has lied about Patty before - then wrote that disgusting article. Ricky's indignant/sarcastic - you know me so well 'Dad'. Ignoring the jabs (that he wasn't around to dish out fatherly advice), Paul's going in Ricky's place (to see Patty). First, he just wanted to look in Ricky's eyes - as he explains himself. Met with silence, Paul's got his answer. Ricky's left to reopen his laptop - I have everything I need.

Try keeping me away, Nick hobbles into the penthouse - to hear how a smug Daisy waved the court order in a helpless Phyllis' face. She begged Daisy not to take Lucy - wasn't allowed to say 'good bye'. What if I never see her again? Phyllis sniffles on Nick's shoulder.

Ashley returns to Traci in Jack's room. No, she hasn't heard anymore about Patty. Traci cries about Colleen - and Jack. How much more pain will Patty bring to this family? she weeps on Ashley's shoulder.

Tomorrow we start on the 'fun stuff', Sarge helps Jack back into his chair. Fear stands for 'failure expected and received' - work your ass off and don't give up. Unwilling to discuss Viet Nam, Jack now wonders if the results Sarge bragged about are hot air. Sarge can't predict the outcome - we're done here. Jack's grateful he's alive - but WON'T live his life this way!

Adam ends a call - he's got a carpenter who's able to repair the barn. He's ready for his next challenge. Sharon's not sure returning to GC is a good idea - the challenge will de dealing with people who aren't happy he's back.

Phyllis assures Nick she's fine - no need for him to stay. Nick's not going anywhere - but aren't we past being 'good friends'? We love each other - are better together than apart. Let's give it another shot.

So typical - Vikki comes to tell Victor her plan - so he won't be blindsided - and he makes it about himself. Victor knows she took the job to get a reaction outta him. And how will her useless husband react - working for the woman who screwed over his brother? You did this to hurt ME. You really wanna 'have this out'? Yes - Victor really does.

Hey Pattycakes - it's me - Paul. I'm so glad you came, Patty leaps into his arms. He needs to discuss something very important - has a few questions.

Adam doesn't expect the good citizens of GC to welcome him with open arms - but Sharon needs to be with Faith (and he needs to be with her). After last night, Adam sees the world differently - and wants to make his Mom and Sharon proud. You already have, Sharon gives him a hug.

Phyllis suspects Nick just likes her now because she's 'needy' (which he denies). But will he run back to Sharon if she needs him? Or accidentally slip into Avery's bed? What then? The whole time he was telling Avery off, Nick thought how wrong he was to be with her - such a mistake. He's so sorry he hurt Phyllis. Yeah - Nick being with Avery DID hurt Phyllis - but it was his feelings for Sharon that ended their marriage. Phyllis is the strong one - Sharon's the fragile one (whom he always abandoned her to save). Phyllis won't be abandoned again - those days are over. So - if that's gonna happen, save us both the trouble and walk away.

Nick and Sharon are over - Phyllis is all he wants - he's ready to make a 100% commitment (and hopes she is too). Phyllis responds with a kiss.

Jack's sisters gush over the cranky SOB Jack speaks so highly of. And after Sarge exits, Ashley leaves Traci to say her 'good byes' (and sob about how much she will always hate Patty Williams).

Asked about Paul's son Ricky, Patty recalls the 'not nice' boy who questioned how she escaped. She told him about the man who was good and bad. Paul's eyes widen with interest.

You make me sick, Vikki rants - contacting Chelsea - offering a bonus to break Billy and her up. It's disgusting - and wrong! Victor had 'nothing to do with that' - Billy's not worthy of Vikki. You didn't do it for ME - or lie to Mom's face for ME - you did it to control me! Vikki then gloats that Victor's big, fancy plan backfired - she'll be adopting Chelsea's baby (making her and Billy more solid than ever). You're making a huge mistake my dear, Victor concludes.

Vikki doesn't care if Victor thinks it a mistake - she'll be too busy, raising Billy's son and running BofN - far away from HIM. We're done here, Victor sits. Vikki agrees - believe me - we're SO much more than done. But after she slams out, Victor mumbles - we're not done at all.

Ashley approaches Sarge - Jack's got it in his head that you can make him walk again. Sarge isn't God - he'll help Jack become self sufficient. There IS that one in a million shot (but the chances of Jack walking are obviously slim to none).

Reassured that Patty's locked up - can't hurt anyone again, an emotional Traci's not convinced. That's what they said last time! HOW did she get out? And why would she try to ruin our lives again!?

Patty can't believe Paulie can't guess - you know who he is. Paul's stunned to hear that Adam's the one who showed Patty the way out of the hospital.

OK - we're all packed - we can leave whenever you're ready. Noticing Adam's mood, Sharon goes to warm up the car. Adam's left to reflect - thanks Mom.

Nick assumes correctly - that's a yes. And after he leaves to return Vikki's call, Phyllis assumes the knock at the door is him. It's Ricky - he's got the story of a lifetime for her - and this time she won't say no.

Next: Sharon's with Nick at the tackhouse - Adam's changed. I want him to move in with me at the ranch ... You gotta claim that baby as your own, Mike (Avery at his side) tells Daniel (who doesn't look thrilled).... Hello Phyllis, Daisy beams - Lucy in her arms (at CL's).

My Thoughts: Yeah - God forbid Paul let anyone 'hurt' Patty. It's completely out of character for Traci to have so much hatred towards Patty ... The only reason Phyllis didn't get down on her knees (to beg) is because 'Lucy was there'? She's far too young to understand what's going on - and Phyllis is probably very effective on her knees .... Victor has a lot of nerve - saying that Vikki 'betrayed' HIM .... Nick's busy? Doing what? And what 'decks' did he have to 'clear'? And any pain Phyllis is in has nothing to do with her father passing away ... Sharon wearing Adam's ring doesn't mean they're engaged ('if that's what he's thinking'). Why would he think that? He didn't propose .... Great timing - Adam returning to GC - just in time for Ricky to publish that he helped Patty escape. Adam's grateful that Sharon brought him back to the farm - but isn't it Victor he should be thanking? It WAS his idea (and it's now HIS farm - so shouldn't HE be responsible for fixing the barn) ... Why isn't Phyllis consulting with her lawyer pal Mike? Having mothered Lucy for months, you'd think she'd at least be able to get some visitation with her. And how long is she gonna have an empty bassinet in her living room? Looks like Phyllis borrowed Ashley's skin tight gray dress (which is just as unflattering on her)
