Today's Spoiler

In Victor's office, Adam doesn't expect to be trusted. His goal? Adam talks about saving the barn - an overwhelming feeling that his Mom was there; proud of him for the first time in a long time. He wants that feeling every day - and will humble himself - do whatever his Mom would want him to. Righting his wrongs is a start - he's grateful for the opportunity. Alright - in memory of the much respected Hope, Victor will give it a try.

Paul has NEW information for Sharon - Adam set Patty loose a year and a half ago, not caring what would happen to her or anyone else.

Phyllis reads Ricky's story aloud - As Nick arrives - to hear she's trashing the story. Not because it's boring - but because her stories have hurt people. Now, she's thinking before she acts. Nick has to wonder if it's because of him.

Nikki at his side, Jack's ready to go home - continue therapy on an outpatient basis. He's finished almost everything on the checklist. Almost may cut it in the boardroom - but not with Sarge - he wants proof. Handed a wooden board, Jack wears a 'wth do I do with this?' expression.

As Nikki hovers, Jack slips on end of the board beneath his ass - the other rests on a chair beside him. Jack fails to move from the wheelchair to the chair. Try again - Sarge won't let him go home until he does it.

Paul suspected Adam was involved - but now there's confirmation. Patty remembers it very clearly - Adam helping her through the vent - giving her a nun's habit. Near tears, Paul almost got Patty back - but Adam couldn't have that (because she'd point the finger at him re: Hightower). And now Patty's in a maximum security prison! None of this would have happened if Adam had left her alone! Sorry, Sharon bleats. Protect yourself and the people you love - trust me, Paul warns in parting.

Adam gives Victor his resignation as CEO (saving the board from voting him out). Victor thinks that thoughtful - Adam must start at the bottom - assisting Nick on a project (which is fine by Adam). Victor will be the one to handle Nick.

At the penthouse, Nick's summoned to NE - he'll meet Phyllis later for dinner. Alone, Phyllis puts the story in the trash can.

Glasses on - and using a cane, Adam runs into Sharon at the club. Interrupting talk of how well Adam's meeting with Victor went, Sharon questions him on what Paul just told her. And as Ricky listens - Sharon realizes 'it's true' (you broke Patty out to save yourself).

As Jack struggles to shuffle from wheelchair to chair, Nikki encourages him to pace himself. Sarge brings Paul over - to say Patty's blocked out what she did to Jack - but remembers Adam letting her out. Son of a bitch! Jack could strangle that bastard. Managing to get to the chair, Jack sends Sarge to sign his release (and accepts a ride home from Paul - and praise from Nikki; who's off to tell Victor about Adam).

In Victor's office, Nick doesn't see the point in giving Adam a chance. Victor's doing it for Hope - and understands Nick's reservations about Adam moving in with Sharon. This will be the last chance Adam gets - to right his many wrongs. It's a very difficult decision for Victor.

Sharon confronts Adam - who forgot to mention HE'S the reason Patty's free. Jack will never walk again because of YOU. Upstairs, please, Adam follows her up. And when Phyllis arrives at the club, Ricky immediately updates - Paul found out (and is running around telling people). The story needs to be published NOW (before it's old news).

There's NO story - no one will believe Paul, Phyllis assures Ricky (who wonders if she's afraid of hurting people's feelings - with the truth) Phyllis gets it - but families will be ripped apart. The story's dead - get over it, she marches off.

Jack wheels himself around his living room - thank God he's HOME - no more sanitized hospital air. Paul remembers being in this room - telling Jack he'd do everything he could to find Patty. Jack doesn't blame Paul - or Patty - VICTOR brought her here - he and Adam exploited her. That's who HE blames.

OK - we're alone - now - so Sharon can berate Adam for releasing Patty (while she called him a hero for trying to stop her). Maybe Adam's happy Patty shot Jack - what that part of the plan? Adam admits he acted out of desperation and fear. Like when you took Faith from me? Adam admits - fear and cowardice have been driving factors - but all that's changed now. Adam's committed to righting his wrongs - and hopes he doesn't have to do it alone. He doesn't deserve Sharon - but needs her. Stay - help me, he pleads.

Sharon isn't done yet - Adam's condemned Jack to a wheelchair - HOW does he fix THAT? And Patty - she's not equipped to deal with maximum security prison. Now she can NEVER go back to her family. Paul's SO heartbroken. Adam won't make the same mistakes. Sharon CAN see that Adam's changed - but won't risk Faith's future on it. Nick arrives on cue - to discuss Adam working for NE and living at the ranch. He won't be living at the ranch, Sharon interrupts. Why? What happened? Nick's updated that Adam helped Patty escape - so she wouldn't testify against him. And despite Adam's pleading, she leaves her ring on the table and leaves with Nick.

Moving himself to the sofa, Jack jokes that he'll have to make the bar more expressible. Serving him a drink, Paul's told Jack's goal - justice. Adam and Victor must face consequences. Paul must focus on helping Patty (and Jack on his recovery). Jack can multitask - and yes - has a plan mapped out. There's a role for Paul if he's interested (which if course he is).

Updating Victor, Nikki says his plan has finally come to fruition. He DID bring Patty to town to lash out at Jack, right? Feigning innocence, Victor had NO idea what Adam had done. yeah, well - Nikki doesn't see much difference between what Victor and Adam did. No - she's not trying to pick a fight with Victor - because he's always right! (and with that she slams out of his office).

Adam uses people - and I make excuses for him, Sharon's now at the club with Nick (who tells her not to beat herself up - even he and Victor felt sorry for Adam). Nick knows Sharon still loves Adam - but has proven she loves Faith more. Be strong - Adam's gonna put a lot of pressure on. Sharon nods agreement. Seeing Nick and Sharon hug, Phyllis shakes her head in disgust and walks away.

A distraught Patty tells Paulie about her dream (memories of her shooting Jack at the church are coming back). I wouldn't hurt Jack - it was just a dream, right? A teary eyed Paul can't bring himself to answer.

It's your father, Victor announces as he walks into Adam's suite. Yes, he heard - and wants Adam's version of the story. It's not a story - it's true - he helped Patty out of Radcliff escape the facility and the country (but nothing after that). But yes - Adam chose not to turn Patty in. Whining that the 'disgusted' Sharon bailed on him, Adam still hopes to prove himself at NE. Victor claims he came begging with blood on your hands - and wants one good reason why he shouldn't cut Adam off too.

I'd never shoot Jack, would I? Paul reassures - it was just a dream - put it out of your mind ~hug~

Nikki arrives at Jack's - to scold him for coming home before they could make the house more accessible for him. Oh what a Godsend Nikki is - but is she motivated by guilt? Why does everyone feel guilty except for Victor. Jack won't let Nikki blame herself for Diane's death (leaving Kyle without a mother). Please let me help - don't send me away, Nikki pleads.

Sharon appreciates Nick not rubbing it in her face (how misguided she's been over Adam). Nick doesn't think the scandal will break - it doesn't need to get out - the family doesn't need it.

Phyllis is on the phone - stop the presses - she has a new story (and doesn't care how much it costs). Her next call makes Ricky's day - I'm running your story. Not only that, she'll make sure everyone knows it was her call.

Adam's a disgrace to his mother's memory - she'd be disgusted (as is Victor). Look at all they've given him. You're my son - but no longer part of my business or family. Nor is Adam to step foot on Victor's property. You mean nothing to me. Left alone, a tear rolls down Adam's cheek. And is even more devastated to discover Sharon's ring on the table.

Next: I was thinking about raising Lucy - together, Daisy says (as Daniel holds his daughter) ... Follow your instincts Abby - come work for me, Genevieve coerces... I'm not gonna let you do this, Anita says (as Vikki listens). Too late, Chelsea replies - I'm not gonna let you stop me.

Sorry - no time for commentary - I'm off to a euchre tournament. I also have names to add to my thank you list (which will be done later tonight). Have a great weekend!!
