Today's Spoiler

The McCall's are at Jack's - with Abby. The newspaper announcing NE's new organic line includes a photo of Nick and Sharon; his ex wife - sister in law - and for a nanasecond, stepmother (not to mention the woman Phyllis loathes). That's a lotta baggage. Jack has confidence that Jabot will beat NE's new line and BofN.

In Victor's office, Sharon's surprised to hear he's out of the country (which indicates to Nick that he has full faith in them). There's much to be done - but Nick has something else to take care of first ...

Unimpressed, Phyllis tosses the newspaper article aside. Ricky arrives - ready to work boss (and whine about getting no credit for his last story). Phyllis makes it clear she's not in the mood today. After she stomps off, Ricky eyes the newspaper (specifically, the photos of Nick and Sharon).

Also reading the article, Adam welcomes Chelsea into his suite. Catching her as she stumbles, Adam confirms he can indeed see (and therefore, has read the newspaper). OMG! Chelsea's thrilled - you can see my face! This newspaper! Oh yes - the gift of sight.

Calling from Tokyo, Jill grumbles that she's been unable to contact a single Mitsagoshi shareholder. Just starting his day, Cane hopes to have better luck. Declaring the night a 'lost cause', Jill plans a nightcap - then bed.

At Vikki's, Kay wonders what happened between Nikki and Victor THIS time - why isn't she at the ranch?

Genevieve's pleased to see Victor - with the briefcase she gave him. Yes - she WAS expecting him - check the outside pocket. Victor finds a note that reads 'see you in Japan'. She figured it out - the name of the man he told her to come see, translates to 'New Man'. Victor's surprised - but 'very happy' that she figured it out.

When Ricky stops by Victor's office, Sharon thanks him for the flowers - and helping Avery get her released. Good things happen to good people - and that's the angle of the story Ricky wants to write for RS - about Sharon (who wonders if Phyllis sent him).

Nick gets a cold reception at RS. Things got outta hand - he had no time to give Phyllis a heads up. The press beat you to it - but it's not the worst news she's heard in the last 24 hours. Had Nick returned Phyllis' call last night, he'd know her horrible news. So much for being his first priority. Daisy filed a restraining order against me - I'm not allowed to see Lucy, she updates.

Explaining why she's at the Abbott's, Nikki also appreciates a 'breather' from Victor. She DID 'reach out' (as Kay suggested) - but it didn't turn out as planned (or private). Victor brought Sharon - then Genevieve showed up with a beautiful monogrammed briefcase. Hmm - extravagant - what's she up to? Wondering the same thing, Nikki whines about Victor fawning over Sharon (and Genevieve's gift). Nikki may not know what goes through Victor's mind - but Kay's sure there's nothing romantic between Victor and Sharon. Nikki's also upset that Victor's supporting Adam (and won't explain why). She left him a message (to talk things through) - but he hasn't called her back. Kay insists they need to find a way to make this relationship 'stick'.

Genevieve welcomes competition (and jokingly assumes Victor's new line won't be up and running until 2014). As a friend, she was happy to help with Victor's vote - but is curious as to why he's there. Victor asks the same question of Genevieve (who knew he'd be there). And when the waitress pops in, Victor orders in Japanese - knowing Genevieve likes surprises. The waitress then orders at the bar - where Jill sits.

The first to know, Chelsea thinks Adam should be telling the whole world. He's just turned over a new leaf - and now has his sight back! Chelsea then asks about Nikki. It's a long story; sordid and showered with a lot of one dollar bills, Adam quips - stay away. Too late for that, Chelsea mopes.

Arriving to find Jack and Abby looking online for a wheelchair accessible vehicle, Nikki agrees with red. On her way out, Abby offers help with Keeley or the houseguest (while the Abbott's are away). Thanks honey - but Nikki will be fine. Yes - she's house sitting so Vikki can be with Billy - it's a mistake to be away too long from the one you love, she tells Jack.

While Genevieve and Victor play cat and mouse over dessert, Jill (still at the bar) recognizes a distinct laugh - Victor!?

Phyllis isn't behind this - Ricky's doing a 'feel good' piece - on someone beaten up by the system (to start again - at the top no less). Besides, it'd be free press. He didn't even pitch it to Phyllis. Good - thanks for the flowers, a suddenly dismissive Sharon isn't interested.

As Nick wonders if Daisy set her up, Phyllis puts a stop to him 'fighting her battles' (when he didn't even answer her call last night). And didn't he say he wouldn't work with Sharon? Nick didn't PLAN too (and scolds Phyllis for her knee jerk reactions). I'm NOT 'flipping out' Phyllis balks. She CARES about things. NO - she DOESN'T want to change. How's that workin' out for ya? Here's a knee jerk for you, Phyllis orders Nick out of her office - NOW.

Adam and Chelsea discuss Dads. He met Victor a few years ago and it's been a party ever since. She doesn't know anything about hers - and Anita won't budge unless things go her way. A carrot dangled or not, she can't help but wonder. Admittedly jaded, Adam warns Chelsea to forget her father's even out there.

Tip toeing down the hallway, Jill darts back to the bar. Glaring, hands on her hips, she watches Genevieve skip off to powder her nose (while Victor pours more sake).

Ricky's flirting with Abby is interrupted when Chelsea comes in to admire her shoes. Asked, she informs that she's having a boy (who'll be raised by an amazing couple). Abby thinks that 'great'. Yeah great - Ricky guesses some parents are OK walking away from their own kids. Forget anyone who doesn't understand, Abby defends - what she's doing is amazing. It's not amazing - Chelsea corrects; it's 'right'.

At Jabot, Ashley and Cane are frustrated that Jill's having no luck with Mitsagoshi. Tucker's sure she's acting accordingly. She'll get the information we need, Ashley agrees. Tucker will try dig up some contacts in Japan.

Jill pounces when the waitress comes from Genevieve and Victor's room - I'll make it worth your while (she ushers her away). Genevieve rejoins the 'exceptional' Victor (who'll never give up on the fight for BofN). At least he's not using threats. That'd be pointless - a night like this is more fun, they agree.

Enough talk about cars - Jack wants to know what Victor's done now. It's what Nikki did; move into Vikki's. Encouraged by Jack, Nikki calls Abby - to ask a favour. These things are doable, Abby answers (as she watches Chelsea reading the CL's menu).

In the office with Nick, Sharon relays Ricky's visit. He's a hard guy to read - did Phyllis send him? Nick relays his talk with Phyllis (who's, as usual, her own worst enemy). And as Sharon boasts of being a whole new person, Nick wants to get back to business - cause that's all this is (and if anyone thinks otherwise, there's nothing he can do about it).

As Phyllis mops up her mess, Adam arrives - look ma - no hands - nice outfit. Yes - he can see everything - Phyllis' sunny disposition - Nick and Sharon are chummy - AND that he's made a sinister return to RS's cover. I'm flattered - thank you.

On the CL's patio, Cane tells Kay how well things are going at Jabot. Ashley and Tucker are very supportive. And if Cane can gain Tucker's trust, he's sure he'll come around with Kay too.

Debating who's office is better, Ashley proves that they can have sex in hers too. Instructing the receptionist not to disturb them, Ashley locks the door ~kiss~

Nick and Sharon are actually working in their office - brainstorming names for the new line.

Adam tells Phyllis that she went too far for all the wrong reasons. Been there sistah. Trying to be 'less of a schmuck', Adam points out that the one thing she didn't want to happen is happening; Nick and Sharon working together - late hours.... You can see the elevator now can't you? Taking the hint, Adam pauses to sincerely express how sorry he is about Lucy. It's never easy losing someone you love.

Returning home, Chelsea and Abby square off (each aware that the other was pretending not to know the other's identity). There's been a change of plans, Abby announces - Hi roomie. Chelsea's smile vanishes.

Nikki explains her text to Victor - she'll be at the ranch to talk to him when he gets home. Jack worries when she's involved with him. He's not good enough for you. I wish you could see that.

As Genevieve and Victor continue to flirt, Jill watches through the ajar shoji screen (dressed as a Japanese waitress). And as Genevieve starts caressing Victor, she snaps a photo; Domo - Arigato folks, she grins.

Next: Mike confronts Kevin - something's going on between you and Angelina - and I want you to tell me now .... YOU CAN'T HEAR ME!? Angie shouts at Devon. I so can't handle this today! she's on the verge of tears ... I know exactly how to deal with you, Lauren sneers at Daisy. Later, she takes the gun out of her desk drawer.
