At the club, Sarge expresses doubt that Jack will attend his session. Giving him her card, Nikki will drag him there if he doesn't show up. She doubts it though - Jack fights for what he wants - he's no quitter.

At home, Jack reads an article in the newspaper - NE got the Mitsukushi contract - ousting Jabot (but he'll happily take BofN as a consolation prize). Avery details the suit against Genevieve - fraud - unlawful use of inside info etc. She's asking that the sale be declared null and void - BofN to go to the next highest bidder (Jack). Avery's off to file it - and will pass along his support to Daniel and Phyllis.

Vikki's home and on the phone with Billy. BofN will be just fine - she just needs to regroup. Ending the call when Genevieve arrives, Vikki's stunned to hear she's thinking of selling BofN back to Victor.

In Victor's office, Sharon's welcomed with a hug and praise. Nick's busy - but they head off to celebrate.

Never mind that Adam's not good company, Chelsea insists on joining him (at the club's bar). Yes - they ARE 'friends' - unless Adam tells her otherwise.

Leaving CL's, Daisy pauses to coo - it's an important day - she'll give Lucy the family she never had. Flashing back to the Daisy/Ricky kiss, Eden leaves Daniel a message (it's about Ricky). What about me?! Ricky appears to snarl.

At the penthouse, Mike interrupts Phyllis' rant about Daisy - this hearing is JUST about reinstating Daniel's rights as a father. OK - Phyllis will keep her mouth shut (except for kissing Nick when he arrives). She's confident they can win - it could be their last chance to get Lucy away from Daisy.

At a table with Chelsea, Adam mopes about Sharon - and the father he'd like to forget about. On cue, Victor and Sharon head to the bar for champagne. She talks of the 3 months they have to get the new line up and running. Easier than you think, Victor's unconcerned.

Newspaper in hand, Genevieve is indeed serious - in fact she's already spoken to Vikki's father. No - Victor's not pressuring her - the sale is legal. Losing the contract is just the last straw - time for Genevieve to cut her losses.

On the patio, Eden tells Ricky that she saw him kissing Daisy (and didn't come home last night). Ricky claims he went to Jimmy's - and snuck in late so as not to wake her up. Ricky's ONLY cozying up to Daisy to advance his career - and because Phyllis asked him to. Satisfied?

As the Judge takes the bench, Phyllis, Nick and late arrival Avery sit behind Daniel and Mike (who gets off to a shaky start).

Genevieve continues her explanation - she was trying to fill an emotional void (with BofN) but it's been depressing. Vikki has regrets too - losing her son because she put business first. Do what's best for you - sell BofN to ME.

As Victor and Sharon toast to their success (and Chelsea heads to her class), Adam heads to the bar - to congratulate them.

At Jack's, Nikki's pleased when Jack declines lunch (as he has a session with Sarge). Having researched online, Jack's found an experimental stem cell surgery. Slow down - Nikki wants to get him to his therapy.

Approaching the Judge, Daniel explains that he gave up his parental rights to that the Abbott's could adopt Lucy - then lists why Daisy shouldn't raise her. The Judge is only concerned with Lucy's stability - she's thriving. Introducing another parental figure could do more harm than good.

Back on the patio, Eden asks Ricky about Billy's TV pilot - and Phyllis' 'webby award'. She deserves much more, Ricky's intent is hard to read.

The Judge wonders if this is more to do with punishing Daisy - than Lucy's best interests. Not at all, Daniel just wants his daughter to be safe. And as the Judge takes a minute to consider, all panic.

What's on Sarge's agenda today? The usual, only worse. Let's get started, Jack looks fiercely determined.

As Sharon contemplates the 'changed' Adam, Victor hopes he leads a productive life (and leaves them alone). Left to enjoy the massage Victor's arranged, Sharon's again approached by Adam (returning for his phone). He has something to say - and if she gives him a second, Sharon might just find out what they could 'possibly have to say to one another'.

Adam's happy for Sharon (knowing how much this job means to her). And she's glad he has his sight back. If something's important enough, you don't give up, Adam concludes.

Cut to Jack - sweating away under Sarge's supervision. But for what? You ARE making progress - getting stronger. Grumbling that he didn't see his legs move, Jack grunts his way back into his wheelchair. After Sarge goes for a much needed break, Nikki arrives. Oh buy, is Jack 'finished'. I want my life back. I'm gonna have that operation. What operation? Sarge reappears.

While Phyllis is sure Daniel's beautiful words had an effect on the Judge, it's actually Daisy's that sway him. She wants Lucy to have both parents in her life. Not caring how or why it happened, Phyllis quietly tells Ricky - you know what you have to do, right? He does. Daisy's smile soon vanishes - when Daniel announces he's going for sole custody. This is how you repay me? Lucy needs both of us, she wails. Daniel makes it clear they'll never bee a happy family. And pretending to be a good Mom for a few weeks doesn't undo the damage Daisy's done (and he's sure the courts will see it that way too).

Vikki marches into her father's office. I know what you're doing with Genevieve - and it's not gonna work. Is that so? Victor replies.

At the club with her lawyer, Genevieve assumes Vikki and her father will get into a bidding war. Talk about your day turning around. She's then served. Genevieve Atkinson? You've been served. Her jaw drops at the contents - no! This can't be real!

The bubbly flows at the penthouse - as all marvel at the win. But - Mike warns that Daisy won't make the same mistake at the custody hearing.

You OK? Ricky asks at Daisy's door. No - it's so unfair. They played me, she whines about being so stupid. They exploited your vulnerabilities, Ricky sympathizes. Daisy admits she's used Lucy - but that was before she became a super duper Mom. Oh God - what am I gonna do?

Phyllis toasts to Ricky - their inside man. Careful, Mike and Avery warn. Phyllis will keep an eye on him. Avery and Mike leave Phyllis to take Nick to bed (or the sofa).

At CL's, Eden congratulates Daniel - but wonders how far 'under cover' Ricky's willing to go (tattling that she saw him kissing Daisy).

You really love her don't you? Told that Daisy will spend the rest of her life making amends for abandoning Lucy, Ricky blurts out that Phyllis sent him to get dirt on her. He'll let Phyllis think he's going along with the plan - but really, it's Daisy he'll help.

Back at the bar, Adam will always treasure the time he spent with Sharon - especially Kansas (which changed his life). A coupla years too late, Sharon suddenly needs to go. And as she pauses to sniffle, Chelsea observes - one look at an equally upset Adam says it all.

Vikki knows Victor's pressuring Genevieve to sell BofN (for peanuts) - and the tactics he's using. Victor thinks the idea for selling to Vikki 'absurd'. We'll see. We will indeed.

You might not be selling BofN after all, Leslie reads the suit. Ridiculous - posturing, Gen points out that Jack SHOWED her his bid. But BEFORE she made her bid? We might have a problem.

Jack and Sarge argue over the experimental surgery. Not a 'hopeless' case, Sarge insists Jack stick with therapy - it's not worth the risk - Jack might end up in a wheelchair until he dies (a thought that greatly worries Nikki).

Next: You're really good with her, Daniel admits. I LOVE her, Daisy points out ... Harmony and Sarge shake hands and exchange names. How funny that she'd run into someone from AA now ... What are you doing here? Jack asks. Please don't kick me out, Genevieve implores.

My Thoughts: You'd think someone as hated as Daisy would lock (or at least close) her front door. Eden's always the one to witness (and blab about) secret kisses. I'm surprised she wasn't in Japan - for some tea seminar - poking her head around the shoji screen to catch Victor and Genevieve.... How on earth is NE gonna get a new line (as yet unnamed even) tested, manufactured - packaged - and ready to go on Japanese shelves in 3 months!? ... Chelsea whines that her 'ole man's' a 'loser'? Yeah - Like Jeff's gonna be proud of a daughter who's a petty criminal - carrying an out of wedlock baby (fathered by a married man). So, WHO'S the loser? .... Nice to see Leslie back - one more woman for Sofia to be insecure about. Too bad she wasn't representing Daisy (as I'm sure she'd not go along with Daisy handing Daniel his parental rights on a silver platter). Why the assumption that one parent gets SOLE custody anyway? If it's in a child's best interests to have both parents in his/her life, why must there be a 'winner' and a 'loser'? Neither Daisy or Daniel have a job - making joint custody and an equally divided schedule even easier to arrange .... Why did Daisy's lawyer take the time to write out a 'brief'? Wouldn't it have been quicker/easier to just TELL the Judge? ... How nice that Sharon took the time to 'check on Faith' (in between the airport and Victor's office). I wonder if Faith got a nice drive by visit from her busy Dad too ... Daniel sure seems confident that 'the courts will see things' his way - considering he was just about to lose (with a pro father's rights judge no less). Why wasn't Vikki there? She said she'd support Daniel through this ... Sure - it's LAWYERS who 'exploit things' - not JOURNALISTS (like the guy who exploited his own sister - then his own aunt - and gets no credit while Phyllis gets a 'webby award') ... Speaking of credit - nice that Adam gives Sharon all the credit (for his 'life changing' time in Kansas) - when Victor (the father he's trying to forget) is the one who owns the farm, came up with the idea - and convinced Sharon to go along with it .... Now Sarge says Jack's NOT a hopeless case? But weren't the doctor's pretty sure he'd never walk again? And if so, what does Jack have to lose by trying the surgery? As it stands (no pun intended), he'll be in the chair 'til the day he dies' anyway (never mind Nikki's horrified look - like this is news to her) ... How soon can we pull the trigger? Jack asks (odd words from a man with a bullet still lodged in his spine).
