Today's Spoiler

Thanked for coming over, it's not Devon that Neil's been summoned over to discuss. Kay feels this may be their last chance to make things right.

Have a seat old boy. Victor knows BofN will cost a lot. Mike then informs him that Vikki wants it as much as he does.

On her laptop - and phone - Vikki's doing some liquidating - needing enough cash to buy BofN. Sofia then calls to summon her for an accidental run in at the GCAC. 'All good to go' - she hangs up Tucker's phone. That's my girl, he praises.

Nikki huffs and puffs into Ashley's office - to express how NOT in favour she is of the surgery Jack's considering (which is dangerous, insane, experimental - and only for desperate cases). The doctor's opinion? With hard work, there's a slim chance Jack could walk again - or never - if this surgery fails. Help me talk him out of it, Nikki implores.

Yes - of course Genevieve meant it (and brought Jack the paperwork to prove it). But first, the conditions of the 'transfer'. Good thing Jack's sitting down - Genevieve wants him to marry her!

As ordered, Mike's been tracking Vikki's financial maneuvers She's selling to get her hands on lots of cash - presumably to buy BofN. Victor thinks that utterly ridiculous (making it sound like she had nothing to do with creating the line). Mike states the obvious - Victor plans to fight her.

Nikki explains the stem cell surgery - if it fails, Jack will never walk again! Sarge made his disapproval abundantly clear - and Ashley (while she understands Jack's frustration) agrees (they need to talk him out of it). Big risk does not equal big win.

Genevieve didn't mean a second chance as 'buddies' - she still cares for Jack. Cozy threesome - you, me, this chair, Jack quips. Wanting to help, Genevieve insists it's not an act of kindness - she's being selfish. The Iron Lady is indeed 'afraid' - and not sure she's capable of having a normal relationship. Gen should have trusted Jack. BofN is her wedding gift to him (as it SHOULD have been).

Opening the front door, Vikki gives her father an emphatic 'no' (never mind that he hasn't spoken yet). We have nothing to discuss (re: BofN). I beg to differ, Victor barges in.

So far so good - the stage is set - a 'select few' believe Tucker and Sofia are having problems. Today they put on a show for Vikki - who will go to (and get) confirmation from Neil (whom Sofia has misgivings about deceiving). It's time to move in - Genevieve's off her game. Sofia will be positioned with Vikki - and Tucker goes after BofN. It all hinges on everyone believing he and Sofia are 'on the rocks'.

Back at the mausoleum, Kay has some candidates lined up - but really wants NEIL back as CEO (a job she knows he loved). You and I were a damn good team. Yes, Neil agrees. Kay won't beg anymore - she's sincerely sorry about how she handled the Devon issue. Neil WON'T think about it - he'll do it!

Marriage isn't the only way to set this right - Jack figures he could beat Genevieve in court. Why fight for years - when they can both have what they want right now? Come ON Jack - take this leap with me. Marching in, Ashley asks what the hell Genevieve's doing there. The only question is - who'll 'do the honours' (of telling her).

Neil wouldn't play games with Kay - and he HAS been thinking. Bringing Anna back at Christmas touched him (as did Kay giving him time to think). Neil will tell the kids - oh yeah, and Sofia (who always thought he belonged at CI).

Knowing this is Tucker's best shot at BofN, Sofia's in - let's do this. She has no qualms whatsoever (that today's performance will be uglier than the one at Devon's studio).

BofN should never have been taken from NE - we both know it. Vikki's to stop interfering (as punishment for Chelsea and Anita). It's a business decision - Vikki has the capitol. Yes - won from ME, Victor reminds. Challenged to go ahead and buy BofN, Victor won't walk away - which means Vikki will LOSE.

After Jack dismisses Ashley to the kitchen, Genevieve continues her appeal - to right a wrong - for both their sakes. When Jack doesn't want to announce anything until they know where it's going, Gen agrees - it'll stay between the two of us. And turning her nose up at the flowers Nikki sent, Genevieve leaves Ashley to grill Jack. To get BofN, Jack's door is wide open. She's THAT afraid of a lawsuit? He's not sure Genevieve's afraid of anything.

NE is traded on Wall Street - Victor's no longer Lord and Master. He's got a board to convince - red tape - giving Vikki enough time to make HER move. Victor gave his kids 1.5 billion - forcing him to take NE public. He forgave them - and THIS how Vikki thanks him? Showing no sympathy, Vikki learned all about business - from HIM. Yes - and did she notice Victor never loses? You're playing a dangerous game my dear, he slams out.

Genevieve and Nikki spar at CL's. To clarify the photo, Victor's merely a business opponent. Nikki looks down her nose - Victor's a lion playing with it's dinner. With a haughty laugh, Genevieve quotes Victor - if there's no pleasure in business, you're doing it wrong (and clearly she and Victor are doing it right). Oh - and the flowers Nikki brought to Jack's? Unsophisticated colour. You were at Jack's? Nikki clams up (score one for Genevieve)

Genevieve's a liar - Ashley warns Jack not to trust the woman who's peddling BofN all over the place - trying to start a bidding war. Jack wants Ashley to let it go - trust him - keep it to herself (especially from Tucker). Ashley persists - BofN is not a sure thing - and neither is the surgery Nikki told her about. Disagreeing, Jack's taking BOTH opportunities offered within the last 24 hours. No one (or this chair) will keep Jack from what he wants.

Ashley knows Jack wants to walk (and run a huge cosmetics empire) NOW - but it's not that easy. Jack knows that - a surgeon will be cutting a bullet from his spine. Hopefully there'll be lots of pain (which'll mean it worked). God willing, Jack will hurt like hell. He knows the odds - and is willing to take the gamble. I hear ya Jackie - but do you hear ME?? Ashley leaves with a weep hug.

Back at CL's, Genevieve orders Nikki to keep her nose out of her and Jack's business. Understand and respect that. Nikki's respect for Genevieve runs as deep as a teaspoon.

Returning to his office, Victor's told there's no way around board approval - and (thanks to the lawsuit) he doesn't have the liquidity to buy BofN privately. His assets would be at risk (which makes Mike nervous). BofN is MINE - I WILL get it back, Victor vows.

As Vikki watches, Sofia and Tucker have their very loud (and very orchestrated) argument at the club. You're fired! I quit! And after Tucker storms out, Vikki joins Sofia (who - with Neil watching - asks her for a job at BofN).

Neil continues to watch - as Vikki likens Tucker's public firing to something her father would do. Pressured to arrange a meeting with Genevieve, Vikki stammers that things are 'in flux' right now. Encouraging Sofia to look around, Vikki will get back to her (then exits to take a call). Neil wastes no time joining Sofia - to ask what's going on between her and Tucker.

At Ashley's office, the only part of her rant that interests Tucker is that BofN's in play again. This isn't a business tip - Ashley's worried about her brother - not BofN.

Marching into Victor's office, Nikki will never understand why he finds Genevieve amusing. And being badgered by HER is the last thing Jack needs. Whoa - she came to see Jack Abbott? Victor's most interested.

Arriving at the club, a call from Jack puts a smile on Genevieve's face. Yes - I'll marry you.

Next: I'm ready to make you a firm offer for BoN, Vikki tells Genevieve (as Nick watches) ... Victor tells Nikki that Jack Abbott would sleep with the devil - if he thought it would best HIM ... Ashley shouts - Its not like your empire's gonna completely collapse! This is starting to feel like some kinda test, Tucker replies.

My Thoughts: Sorry - no time or energy for commentary. A long 8 hours in the hospital today. Day 1 - of round 3 is behind us. 3 more days of chemo to go - then it's off to Texas for scans. Thanks to everyone who's kept my stepson in your thoughts and prayers.
