At GCM, an optimistic Lily waits with a nervous Devon - both hoping he'll be able to hear today.

Neil and Sofia are at CL's, chuckling about his injured hand (closed in the car door). When Angie's first hit plays, they can't wait until Devon hears the new one. They'll have front row seats to a miracle.

Outside the nursery, Kay and Jill are alarmed to hear 'he's not with us anymore'. Joining the Abbott's (and baby) in a private room, they side with Billy (Cecil!? Vikki must be kidding).

On the CL's patio, Chloe insists Kevin sell the house he shared with Angie - she wants nothing to do with anything Angie. Carmine saunters over on cue. Yeah - he was leaving - until Kevin's wife talked him out of it. Kevin gives Chloe a puzzled look.

Harmony and Tucker join Devon - followed by Neil and Sofia. Big day - the engineer will be activating the devices in Devon's ears. He frets - what if it doesn't work??

Now inside, Carmine looks quite at home as he reads the paper. At the counter, Chloe wishes she'd kept her mouth shut - now the childish Carmine is staying just to drive her nuts. And as he comes over to be all friendly, the Fisher's leave for the hospital. Trying to text and walk at the same time, Abby collides with Carmine (sloshing hot coffee all over his hand). OMG! Are you OK? she yelps.

As all wait, Devon shares some 'horror stories' online. As all reassure, Lily leads Devon out - Harmony dashes in the other direction - and when Tucker starts walking, Neil scolds 'cowboy' for not acknowledging Sofia. Now alone, he apologizes for going off on Tucker. YOU'RE not the one doing anything wrong ('I am' Sofia's guilty look reads).

No - Chelsea doesn't remember who pulled her out of the lake - and delivered l'il 'Fin'. Fin!? Vikki won't name their son after an airport bar (Fin McGee's). The Fisher's arrive - followed by Ester and Delia (who's shown her baby brother). What's his name? she chirps.

Administering an ice pack, Abby notices the blistering - and insists on driving Carmine to the hospital. Sweetheart, grab my coat, he orders.

Having another discussion about honesty, Sofia declares Neil the 'realest' person she knows. And Devon WILL be alright ~hug~

Lily and Devon are now in a room with a computer (where the engineer will turn on the devices). Reminiscing about Devon first becoming part of their family, Lily's pep talk reminds him of Dru ~hug~

Harmony's on her knees, praying in the chapel - that she's not the cause of things going wrong again. Please - please. Neil interrupts to say she wouldn't be to blame. But he can't understand - after all Harmony's put Devon through, she doesn't think she can live with herself (if this doesn't work).

Ester takes Delia out for paper - Billy and Kevin go for coffee. The nurse needs to take the baby for some tests - no need for Vikki to come. The ladies left to chat, Chloe updates that Carmine's sticking around. If only he'd find someone else to bug.

In emerg., Abby's told there's no one to call - Carmine's new in town. He's amused when she gives the nurse some attitude - and insists on sticking around - to flirt. You're the Naked Heiress? Awesome!

In the hallway, Kevin recalls last time they were there. Billy was in a Santa hat (to see Delia). Next time he wears that hat, he'll be celebrating his son's first Christmas. Amazing huh?

Neil reminds a weepy Harmony that Devon's a grown man - made his own decision, And how she's grown too. Oh how wrong Neil was - he's impressed with her effort (knowing how hard it is). Keepin it real, a tortured Harmony's been thinking a lot about using - like right now - and can't promise she won't (if things don't go well for Devon today).

Getting a moment alone with Tucker, Sofia whines about having to lie to Neil. It won't be for much longer - Tucker has the inside track on BofN. He may get it without Sofia having to infiltrate NE - but for now, stay the course. Sofia looks forward to dropping this act - she doesn't want anything to get in the way of her and Neil having a real marriage.

Neil knows the old Yolanda wouldn't beg a higher power for help - she'd be scoring a hit. You HAVE changed. Admitting he fell off the wagon, after Dru died, Neil does understand putting fear in your child's eyes (Lily was terrified she's lose both parents). Smiling through her tears, Harmony thanks her higher power for sending Neil to her. They're holding hands when Sofia interrupts (to report they're ready to turn on Devon's ears). Did you get a chance to 'pray'? she snarls (after Harmony scurries out). No - but Neil's feeling more positive now.

Devon and Lily are joined by Tucker. Harmony's next - the first sound Devon hears will be her (screaming her fool head off). Sofia tells Neil that she'll just wait in the hallway (due to Tucker). They'll celebrate with Devon later. Sending Neil inside (so as not to face Tucker), Sofia looks devastated (and pissed off).

The friendly flirtation comes to a screeching halt. Abby's entertaining offers (in the cosmetics industry) - but - OK - hasn't DONE much of anything recently. Ha! Carmine won a $50 bet - he KNEW she'd be 'done' once she put her clothes back on. Her face curled up in disgust, Abby's speechless - as Carmine struggles to call his pal.

There's a baby shower going on in the private hospital room. Never mind Billy's indiscretion (brought up by Chloe) - Vikki loves her new son. Impressed, Kay thinks the baby very lucky. Kevin returns with coffee - while Billy's at the chapel giving thanks; for Vikki, Delia, his son. Vikki slips in

*I missed a few lines here - but Abby's obviously pissed* Sorry about your career tanking - and I HATE chinchillas! Carmine shouts as she storms out.

Everyone at the 'baby shower' has their say about where the newlyweds should live. Covering Delia's ears, Chloe refuses to move into a house Kevin shared with his ex wife. But when Delia hears all about the wonderful place, Chloe agrees to look at it. The only one not in favour, Ester - will be invited to visit all the time. You can thank me later, Jill whispers to Kevin.

Vikki tells Billy that she's named the baby - no, not Cecil; John.

As all wait anxiously, the engineer activates the devices (basically just turning an 'on' switch). Can you hear me? Devon's smile indicates he can. All rejoice! OMG! Neil's the first to offer a hug - while Harmony's the weepiest of the weepy.
