Today's Spoiler

Friday, April 20th

Copyright Toni's Spoiler Site. Not to be republished.

Nikki visits Jack - with treats, a limp and the news that she ran into Victor. Meanwhile, a panicked Nick goes running to Daddy. Explaining Lucy's brief disappearance, Victor's to make some calls - pulls some strings (to help Daniel win custody). Sorry son.

On the stand, Daisy's the picture of a loving Mom - who merely wants her daughter to have a two parent family.

At RS, Ricky's on the phone - trying to get info on the hearing. And as he sends Daisy a 'how's it going?' text, she's wrapping up her Mother-of-the-year performance by blaming Phyllis (who can't make up for losing Daniel by making Lucy call her Mom).

At CL's, Sofia apologizes again to Neil (who's over it) - but then forced to explain what he was doing out so late last night (as he flashes back to kissing Harmony; whom Sofia somehow knew was with him). As Neil escapes for a refill, he bumps into Harmony (Sofia taking note of the obvious tension between them).

Barely acknowledging Harmony, Neil returns to Sofia - who mentions the tension (as she dabs at his shirt). Did they get into it last night? Neil will be right back. Sofia then warns Harmony not to keep the husband she loves out so late - he has a family to come home to. Don't even, she cuts Harmony off and stomps off (as Sarge watches it all from his booth).

In the court hallway, Phyllis is seething - I wanna rip her face off. Following behind, Avery assures that the Judge will be fair - then stops Phyllis from going back in. Daniel HAS to win, Phyllis insists.

Now on the stand, Daniel admits he and Lucy were briefly seperated - but she's safe now. Mike objects to the word 'neglected' - then to whether Lucy will be dumped off on Phyllis - like luggage. Taking his turn, Mike leads Daniel to express his fear when he lost sight of Lucy. Having heard both sides, the Judge goes to deliberate.

Lurch spook your horse? Jack's then told how 'cuddly' Victor bandaged Nikki's ankle and had her driven home. Knowing how Victor 'gets' to Nikki, Jack ponders - perhaps it's NOT 'our time'.

Back at CL's, Harmony first snaps at Sarge - then is all over him when dragging him over to meet the Winters. Neither man looks too impressed (and Sofia's busy gauging Neil's reaction).

Jack scoffs at Nikki's insistence that she's staying away from Victor (by riding at HIS ranch). It's OK that Nikki's not over him yet. She may 'care' about Jack, but he knows she loves Victor.

At the ranch, Nick continues to pester Daddy to call the Judge. Victor can't - not because he doesn't like Phyllis, but because the SEC is breathing down his neck.

Still in the hallway, Avery makes Phyllis sit. Admitting she's still emotional (about Dad), she believes Daniel should raise Lucy - and when that happens, would like to be part of her life. You will, Phyllis assures.

Having done some research, the Judge isn't convinced that Daniel should have any form of custody. He'll revisit the matter in 6 months. Retaining full custody, a weepy Daisy hugs her lawyer (as Daniel looks crushed).

Updated (by Mike) that Daisy retains custody (Daniel gets visitation at her discretion), a furious Phyllis lists 'that psycho's' crimes - she kidnapped two women - and MY son has to prove himself!?

Alone in the courtroom, Daisy wishes Daniel had just let himself love her - be a family. And when can he see Lucy? (now back in Daisy's arms). When he accepts who Daisy is - and that she loves her daughter.

As Daisy carries Lucy out, Daniel's reassured by the group (now joined by Nick). We'll revisit in 6 months, Mike reminds (but is a bit harsh about Daniel's mistakes). And after Daniel sulks off, Phyllis confirms that last night's incident is to blame. Yeah - she WILL fix this (which leaves the lawyers looking worried).

No, Sarge doesn't mind Harmony telling Sofia that they met at a meeting. Policy change? Neil thought members were advised not to 'hook up' within the first year of recovery. Just one of those things, Harmony explains Sarge isn't actually in AA. As long as you're happy, Sofia's not surprisingly supportive (then gives Neil a kiss before wheeling Moses off to the club). And after Sarge heads back to work, Neil narrows his eyes at Harmony - what was that?

Because of 'last night', Neil doesn't buy that Harmony and Sarge are an item. It was just a kiss, Harmony tells Neil to focus on his family (cause HER mind's on Sarge). But as Neil walks off to take a call, her smile vanishes.

Seated at the club, Mike tells Avery (a self proclaimed 'idiot') not to blame herself. Neither of them could have prevented what happened last night.

Phyllis and Nick arrive at RS. Hey boss, Ricky bounces over. Promptly fired, he wonders what he did this time. Nick shoving Ricky onto the sofa, Phyllis accuses him of luring Lucy out of CL's. Ricky saw her outside CL's - he was merely being a decent human being. Is this about the hearing? Did Daisy win? The Judge thinks SHE'S the only one fit to raise a child? That's gotta sting. Nick now shoves Ricky onto the elevator - don't come back!

Nikki doesn't get why Jack and Victor always make it about one another - THEY should be married. If Jack's not interested, just say so. Jack IS - but knows she's not over Victor. And as Nikki exits one door, Victor arrives at the other (peeking his head inside as if expecting to see Nikki).

At Daisy's, Ricky gripes about getting no thank you call (crowing about how pissed off Phyllis is). Good thing he rescued Lucy from Daniel's crappy parenting. Still not getting the gratitude he feels he deserves, Ricky doesn't agree that he and Daisy are 'done'. In fact, he's just getting started (which worries Daisy immensely).

Still reeling from the decision (thanks to that 'slimeball'), Phyllis (with Nick at RS) protests when Daniel arrives to say he's leaving GC. No! You're NOT leaving town.

Cookies to sell? No, Victor's there for Nikki (for whom he's very concerned). And if she starts drinking, it's on Jack's head. No - Nikki only turns to the bottle when Victor's involved. And when Nikki appears to ask what's going on, Jack wheels himself off, leaving Victor to express his concern. No need - Nikki's well taken care of. Good BYE Victor. Remember, this was your choice, are Victor's last words - as Nikki slams the door in his face.

On the patio, Sarge gives Harmony a peck on the cheek. What would her sponsor think about this 'act' she's putting on? Mind your own business - and back the hell up!

What's the emergency? Neil races into the club. This ~kiss~ Sofia's got a sitter - and a room - no more talk. Responding with a 'come on', Neil leads her upstairs.

Hypocrite, Ricky seethes - Phyllis' Dad was a con - and she's got a long rap sheet. Betting Phyllis has done stuff the cops don't even know about, he's gonna write a tell all book - expose Phyllis' sins. Daisy seems to like the idea.

Daniel assures Phyllis that he's not 'running'. Off to meet his art dealer (for a week or so), he plans to come back to fight for his daughter. Moved to tears (by his 'beautiful' words), Phyllis is thrilled to hear Daneil plans to fight for the daughter her loves. Exchanging 'I love you's', Daniel leaves Phyllis with Nick.

Still seated at the club, Mike doesn't judge - he lives in a 6 story glass house. Avery thinks Phyllis lucky to have such a good friend. Don't fret little lady - there's plenty of super-friend Mike to go around. Take care of yourself, he leaves Avery to look lonely.

Jack and Nikki debate Victor (who doesn't want her there). But it's not HIS choice. Nikki won't beg to stay - but DOES want to be with Jack. No more talk of Victor - concentrate on ME. Now why didn't Jack think of that? ~kiss~

Returning home, Victor finds a bouquet of flowers. 'To a growing relationship ~ G'. Tossing the card, an unimpressed Victor glares at the flowers - before trashing them too.

Next: Like father like daughter, Phyllis crows (Nick in the background). I'm not like Daddy, Avery protests. You're EXACTLY like him, Phyllis argues ... You're looking for a way to reneg on our deal, Genevieve guesses - what are you afraid of Victor? ... I'm not afraid of Lauren, Daisy tells Jill (at the boutique). You should be, Lauren aims her gun.

My Thoughts: With the hearing already in progress, what does Nick expect Victor to do? And has he forgotten that the last time Victor was asked to 'fix' a custody hearing, Vikki LOST custody of Reed. The only difference was the location - and colour of the ball used as a distraction; Lucy's was green, Reed's red .... Why did it take Mike so long to stand and voice his objection? Can Daisy PROVE Phyllis wanted Lucy to call her 'Mom'? Where did that information even come from? ... Of all people, Avery should know that the hearing isn't about what Daniel 'deserves' - it's about what's in Lucy's best interests ... But as Daisy herself has testified that Lucy deserves two parents, why WASN'T Daniel granted partial custody - and why is visitation 'at Daisy's discretion'. It appears the courts oftentimes are determined to pit one parent against the other ... As spoilers indicate that Christine and Danny are both returning to the show, it's a safe bet that Ricky will unearth one of Phyllis' best kept secrets (mowing Chris and Paul down with her rental car). Long time fans (if not of Phyllis) will be delighted with the prospect of her finally being held accountable for this crime (while others won't give a rats ass - and will note that the statute of limitations prevents any legal action against Phyllis). Still - we will get to see Paul's face turn red - his veins popping. Will he be proud of his son - for finally solving a mystery the PI himself wasn't able to solve? ... Is Sofia really that easily placated? Marrital vows didn't stop Neil from impregnating his brother's wife - why would Sofia think a 'hook up' with Sarge is gonna stand between Neil and Harmony?

FYI: I will be off next week - for a second time taking my stepson to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas - hoping to hear news that the three rounds of chemotherapy have shrunk his tumours to the point that surgery is an option. Thanks so much to all who've kept us in your thoughts and prayers - and to those who've generously donated towards the cost of my trip. Appealing to strangers for money is just one of the many negative aspects of this whole unfathomable journey/nightmare. Thanks also for your patience - on days I wasn't able to update the site as early as I'd like - or been able to muster my usual attempt at lame humour. I am eternally grateful for your understanding and support. In my absense, we're yet again very fortunate that Lyndsay and Tina will be covering the spoilers. Once I've received them, via email - or on the temporay boards (click on the 'Forum' link on the main page), I'll email subscribers - and update the site if and when possible. I'll keep you posted - and be back in business April 30th. I the meantime, please enjoy the spoilers provided by Lyndsay and Tina (as I will). I'm sure they'll once again do a fantastic job (as will Elks and Luv with the Message Boards). God Bless - and hug your kids very, very tightly tonight.
