Strolling through the park, Cane encounters Genevieve - who's heard about what he did for her (and is very grateful).

At Jimmy's, birthday boy Ricky knows he's disappointed his father - but not knowing who else to turn to, needs Paul's help.

Sneaking downstairs - trying to get Eden out of the ranch without being seen, Kyle hides her behind the bar (where she grins when hearing Kyle tell Bonnie that his stay there has been tremendous thus far).

On the patio, Billy's cradling L'il John when Chloe arrives with Delia (who's not to ruin her party dress). Both ladies chuckle when Billy ends up with 'fashionable' spit-up on his shirt.

Phyllis didn't summon Avery to the penthouse for legal advice - she wants to share news with her sister. Avery's stunned to hear about the engagement and baby.

In Walsh's office, Mike thinks anger management classes and probation are fitting punishment for Lauren's weapons charge. Alas, the charge is now felony assault with intent to do bodily harm. What!? Lauren squawks. Walsh has witnesses - and here's one now to make a statement - Jill.

Can we talk? Daniel's let into Daisy's - to say he's come to a decision. Will you marry me? he produces a velvet boxed ring.

Ricky shows Paul a card from Mom - the writing is 'all over the place' (like her mental state). She blames someone else for everything. Could Ricky have inherited that? Perhaps he uses his resentment (towards Paul) to justify his actions (against Heather and Aunt Patty). Never meaning to hurt Paul (or anyone), Ricky's gonna find help - but needs to know it's not too late (for him and Paul to start over).

Jill makes it clear she's not testifying against her sister (which tells Walsh that the truth would damage Lauren). No problem - Walsh has plenty of other witnesses. Why this crusade? Lauren wonders. And when Mike concludes it's about Nikki Newman not paying for Diane's death. So he's going after my sister, a scornful Jill adds. Yeah - well - if she wants to help Lauren, she can run the family business (while Lauren's in prison!)

A baby - that's wonderful. Avery and Phyllis share a brief and awkward hug. Happy? Nick's ecstatic. Her beeping phone indicating an emergency, Avery agrees to keep the news to herself (then asks if Daniel's still out of town).

Eyeing the offered ring, a skeptical Daisy suspects Phyllis and Avery want him to spy on her. I'm a good mother. Daniel knows that - he just needed time. To get over being disgusted by me? Daniel respects Daisy (and the sacrifices she made for Lucy). Isn't this what she wanted? Tears in her eyes, Daisy's torn - speechless - but knows it's BS when Daniel claims to want a real marriage. Shown the door, Daniel pauses - the plants a persuasive kiss.

On a park bench, Gen's grateful that Cane wouldn't cooperate with the SEC. It's sweet that he worries about her. Cane has good reason - Jack's gone - she's on shaky ground with Victor - and the SEC. Cane suggests Genevieve cut her losses - and BofN - to start fresh somewhere else.

Cleaning his shirt, Billy rejoins Chloe (who worries Delia will get all messed up by the time she returns to pick her up). Not a hair out of place, Billy promises. Stay clean, Chloe orders in parting.

Inside CL's, Eden's reading the menu to Kyle (who's apparently never heard of a 'fritter'). They're kissing when Billy pushes the stroller in (Delia in tow). Hello nephew! After Eden escapes, the boys exchange witty banter - Kyle teasing Billy about his manly man purse.

Back at Jimmy's, Paul will see if Patty's doctors can recommend a therapist for Ricky (who's low on cash since he rubbed Phyllis the wrong way). If only he'd hired Paul to give him some background info on her. What's the story with her and Daniel? Wait a minute - did Ricky only invite Paul here to get dirt on Phyllis? No - Dad - what would give you that idea??

Still at home, Phyllis leaves a 'call me' message for Daniel. We don't even have to talk about the Daisy situation.

Daisy breaks off the kiss - then lunges back into it. Joined at the lips, they close the front door.

In Walsh's office (him gone), Mike tells Jill and Lauren that the DA has a grudge against him (but he respects Avery). Yeah - but SHE'S the one who got Daisy released, Lauren argues. Avery admits she was right. Regretting helping Daisy, she'd like to make amends. Mike thinks Avery can talk the DA into making a deal. OK fine, Lauren agrees (then insists Jill go to Australia). The sisters share a weepy hug - who'da thunk huh? And as Mike walks Jill out, Lauren asks how Avery plans to keep her out of prison.

Amused that Billy's giving him fatherly advice, Kyle assures he won't be a father anytime soon - it's not his scene. He won't even get serious with anyone. In the background, Eden looks concerned - and after Billy leaves, changes her mind on breakfast with Kyle. She heard what he said - it's fine - but her experience as 'friends with benefits' didn't work out so well. Hoping she sees Kyle again, Eden gives him a kiss and leaves.

Naked and under the sheets, Daisy (now wearing the ring) and Daniel apologize to one another. What a great start to making it up to each other ~kiss~ Daniel has to go meet someone - but can he see Lucy before he goes? And as Daisy goes to get her, Daniel's already in full regret mode.

Cane heading to work, Genevieve thanks him again ~hug~ Jill appears - didn't she agree to keep her distance from Cane? ETHAN? Jill scoffs at the way Gen failed him - then slaps her across the face (when Genevieve claims Jill was a worse mother to Billy).

At the penthouse, Billy confiscates markers from Delia - then finding a maternity magazine, soon guesses that Phyllis is pregnant. He's there to discuss Ricky (who Phyllis suggests they let 'fade away').

Back at Jimmy's, Ricky's agitated that Paul's misreading him. Not buying it, Paul stands - he wants no part of whatever Ricky's up to. Happy birthday! Paul leaves his furious son to mutter - well, THAT didn't fly.

Now in a robe, Daisy gushes as Daniel holds Lucy (this is how she always pictured them). He MUST know how right this feels. Daniel wouldn't be here otherwise. He'll be back in an hour - to make plans. And extricating himself from her cloying hug, Daniel leaves Daisy a happy woman.

That was a BIG mistake, Genevieve glowers. The verbal mud slinging soon leads to actual mud slinging (thanks to a conveniently placed wheelbarrow full of dirt; which Jill wastes no time soiling Genevieve's white jacket with).

Billy and Cane arrive at the same time - to pull their mud splattered mothers apart. What the hell is wrong with you? Billy soon has a bigger problem - Delia's having a blast playing in the dirt. Look I'm like Grandma!! Oh come ON, Billy groans.

Eden joins Ricky at Jimmy's - first picking up the crumpled birthday card (which he then rips up and hands back to her).

Lauren's a respected - no, beloved member of this community, Avery tells Walsh - the jury will sympathize with the hell Daisy put her VICTIM through. Mike adds that he'll be going to the ethics committee - to discuss how much it's costing to go after one family. It'll make for good headlines. Yes - Lauren's absolutely willing to go public with her story. Walsh caves - Lauren will have community service tacked on. Thrilled, Mike's left to hug Avery (who seems effected by it).

At the penthouse, Phyllis tells Daniel that she and Nick are getting married. Oh - and she's pregnant. Daniel has news too .....

OMG - do I even want to know!? Chloe's horrified at the sight of a dirty Delia (but notfurious because she has another dress in the car). Thanks so much, she tells Billy as she leads Delia off. That leaves Jill to explain what transpired between her and Genevieve. Billy assures Jill that she's a good Mom - a mess (literally) - but HIS mess ~hug~ Have fun in Australia.

On the patio, Cane thinks Genevieve should take kick boxing - instead of fighting with everyone. Jill's oversensitive, Gen sniffs (ladylike - as if she's not looking like Pigpen, covered in dirt). Stay out of trouble, Cane chides in parting. Gen then gets a call from Collin (relaxing in a lounge chair) - mission accomplished - thanks to her he's been released. Vague on his location, he's somewhere 'quite lovely' - and that's all Genevieve needs to know ~click~

Inside CL's, Paul calls Avery over - to ask how well she knows Ricky's character. He's trying - belatedly - to know his son. He's a smart young man, Avery supplies. But what about his ethics - or lack thereof? Her honest opinion? Avery thinks Ricky's ammoral.

An agitated Ricky tells Eden that he wrote the card himself - to get sympathy from someone - but it didn't work. He'll use every trick in the book to bring that bitch Phyllis down.

Celebrating at G-worm, Lauren toasts to Mike's brilliance. Turning, their smiles fade at the sight of Daisy. Mike dashes over to demand she leave. Daisy doesn't want to cause trouble - she wants to register at Fenmore's. For what?! Her wedding.

Sitting Phyllis down, Daniel drops the bomb - he and Daisy are getting married.

Next: He will do anything he possibly can to get ahead, Paul tells Avery (who adds - and God help whoever stands in his way) ... What'd you think I meant? That I was gonna kill her in her sleep? Ricky snaps at a worried looking Eden ... I want us to elope, Daniel announces. When? Now, he tells Daisy.

My Thoughts: Yeah Daisy - having consensual sex is a really good start to 'making up' for drugging and raping someone. Since Daniel clearly had it all planned out, let's hope he thought to use protection ... Being so new to town, how would Genevieve know what kind of mother Jill was to Billy? .... Cool - Phyllis/Nick can have a double wedding with Daniel/Daisy. But wth would Daniel go to such lengths to secure contact with a daughter he never wanted to raise in the first place? Now he'll have a wife he doesn't want too. Great plan! Staying together for the child's sake has worked SO well for Neil ... A random wheelbarrow full of dirt in the middle of the park? Why not? And did anyone NOT see Delia getting her party dress dirty a mile away?
