Before his deportation hearing, Cane chats with Lily at the club. Despite Chris' persistent calls, he can't testify against his mother. Lily doesn't care where they live - as long as they're together.
Summoned to meet Genevieve at the club, Chris does indeed want to know where she got the funds to buy BofN - Collin's blood money? Genevieve will tell Chris everything - IF she'll leave Ethan alone for good.
No - Victor can't stop Genevieve from coming clean to the Justice Department (for her son). Avery thinks it bad timing - Jack's lawsuit goes before a Judge tomorrow. The sale was declared legal - if Gen's purchase is voided, Jack could be the legal owner of BofN. I'll be damned - just as I thought, Victor goes over the board votes - JagAbbutt's not getting his hands on that company.
Nikki's been summoned to Jack's - and is thrilled to hear that he felt his toe move - and Mrs Martinez stepping on his foot. Tests prove it's happening - Jack's regaining feeling in his legs!
At CL's, Ricky insists Daisy help him - unless she wants to go to prison. He'll tattle to Daniel. Why you talkin' to him? Phyllis bursts in from the patio; Nick on her heels.
Yeah it IS Phyllis' business - what is Ricky up to? He's discussing rent for the sublet. See you later, Ricky exits - leaving Phyllis suspicious. Oh but he's not gone - he's on the patio - demanding Daisy meet him at the penthouse - WITH the key - NOW!
Genevieve's done confessing - and will turn her financial records today. She drained Collin of his fortune while he was running illegal operations around the world. Chris will recommend Genevieve serve no jail time (though her funds will be confiscated) - and walks off to make the call that puts a stop to the deportation hearing.
As the Ashby's are leaving the club, Genevieve calls to tell Cane the hearing's been cancelled. Come to G-worm and he'll learn why.
Over tea, Jack explains that he didn't want to build Nikki's hopes up - then disappoint her. Oh silly - Nikki wants to share the good and the bad. I love you, Jack gushes ~kiss~ Let's go celebrate - at the club.
At the ranch, Victor arranges a meeting at the club (with a board member who had a conflict of interest because he works for FMN; whom his 'yes' vote created opportunity for) Victor's sure he can convince Halloway to tell the truth - JagAbbott won't know what hit him, both he and Avery exit.
At G-worm, Nick and Phyllis discuss Daisy and Ricky (who put her into 'attack mode'). She's frightened at the thought of what the two of them together could come up with.
Taking the key, Ricky won't let Daisy 'go home to her husband and daughter' - he needs a lookout. We look out for each other - or one of us might get hurt. Hurry up! Daisy hisses (then reluctantly takes her post at the front door - scowling into the hallway).
Joining Genevieve and Chris at G-worm, the Ashby's are stunned to hear that she told all. Why? You're my son. She had no right to tear him away from his family. And while Lily profusely thanks Genevieve, Cane's question hangs in the air; what does this mean for my mother?
Well - if it isn't Nikki and JagAbbott - celebrating prematurely (at the club), Victor remarks. Jack has no idea what Genevieve's up to - so is told she came clean - to stealing millions. It's not called alimony if it's illegal. Jack now has two things to celebrate - BofN will be his. Good luck to you, Victor grimaces - then goes to meet Halloway (Avery on is heels). Why did he decide to vote for the sale of BofN? Victor wastes no time.
Now seated, Halloway claims he only cast his vote - had no idea Mrs Atkinson planned to bid on BofN (and there's no proof to the contrary). Victor and Avery tag team him with their accusation. Now - Victor demands he help bring Genevieve down. How? Avery will draw up a statement for him to sign. Then Victor will have something to celebrate.
Jack toasts - to beating the odds. But it seems Nikki's still thinking of Victor. She just can't stand the idea of him being hurt. Nikki wants to focus on the reason they're celebrating - Jack walking soon. Never mind Victor - or BofN. For Nikki, Jack will try.
Ricky goes through a box of files - he'll know what he's looking for when he sees it. Daisy suggests the shrink's lying. But Ricky's determined to find the skeletons in Phyllis closet.
What are those two up to? Phyllis just can't stop thinking of the two punk kids. Ok - so old memories have been stirred up (with Danny and Chris in town). Nick has a way to make her forget her troubles - video games. Let's go kick some virtual butt, they leave G-worm.
At G-worm, Chris is on the phone - Genevieve's records collected, her accounts have been frozen. She'll do what she can to keep her out of jail. But yes, Genevieve got what she wanted. Chris leaves them to chat - how will Gen live? With a clear conscience. She couldn't take Cane from what she couldn't give him - a real home; family. It would be wrong. You gave up your life so I could have mine, Cane concludes. Gen thinks it about time she acted like a mother.
Ricky continues to search. This is a waste of time, Daisy snaps - then pokes her head out - to see the elevator's coming up! Stall them! Ricky sends her out. Getting off the elevator, Phyllis (with Nick) asks what she's doing there. I came to see you, Daisy bleats.
Following Phyllis and Nick inside, Daisy stammers - we must get along - for Daniel and Lucy's sake. Phyllis has heard enough - so Nick herds Daisy out - call first next time. That leaves Phyllis to rant - I hate her - she's the biggest liar I've ever met! In the closet, Ricky fiddles with his phone - trying to record her.
After Nikki goes to the powder room - and Victor leaves his table to take a call, Jack wastes no time wheeling himself over - to say Hi to Avery - and introduce himself to Halloway (whom he seems to know all about). You discussing FMN or NE business? Avery failing to shut him up, Halloway blabs that Victor wants to nullify the vote. It's been ruled valid, Jack crows. Ms Clark's 'hail Mary' is too late. Aside, Victor ignores Sharon's call. Sashaying by, Nikki pauses - to thank him for the lunch he hosted in Cassie's honour. She was a wise young girl - who'd be stunned to see you with JagAbbott, Victor snarks. The obvious comeback, Nikki wonders what she'd think about Victor with her mother. JagAbbott is a loser - always was - and always will be a loser. Not this time, Nikki sniffs. Good luck, Victor hisses as Nikki marches off.
Watching Genevieve with Chris and a DOJ agent, the Ashby's are thrilled that she's doing the right thing. All done, Gen then rejoins them - it went well - she's not going to jail. But - she's broke.
In the closet, Ricky records Phyllis' rant about Daisy. I'd kill her if I could, she vows - repeatedly (then follows Nick upstairs for some distraction sex). The coast clear, Ricky emerges from the closet to make his escape (files in hand). In the hallway, Daisy snarls a threat. You gonna lock me in a cage? Ricky taunts. You don't know what I'm capable of, Daisy hisses - we're done. Without giving details, Ricky boasts that he got a bonus - something to use against Phyllis when the time is right.
Chris apologizes for what she did to Cane and his family - Good luck to all of you. Chris leaving, Lily leaves Cane to thank Genevieve - with a hug.
Jack continues to eye Victor - but will never let the Mustache get to him. You'll beat him this time - Nikki can feel it - and he'll get BofN too. Avery ends her call - the brief's filed. Confident, Victor asks when Jack will know he's lost BofN. Avery offers no guarantees - but Victor's sure; Jack won't beat him - ain't gonna happen.
Next; I'm not comfortable speaking to you about my marriage, Ashley tells Kay - it's not anybody's business except Tucker's and mine .... Moses in her arms, Sofia tells Harmony she can talk to Neil anytime - cause we're getting a divorce... You told your father didn't you? About me and Billy sleeping together, Sharon confronts Vikki.
My Thoughts: If Genevieve was smart, she'd have a Uhaul at her mansion - getting as many of her pricey trinkets out as possible to sell on Ebay. Nice that the Department of Justice meets people it's busting at the local eatery (which still doesn't seem to have a hostess to seat it's diners) ... Wait a minute - who cares who Halloway voted the way he did - Adam selling BofN was ruled valid). It should not make any difference to Jack's case. He had nothing to do with Halloway. Victor should have raised this point during BEFORE the Judge ruled ... Jack's not a loser 'this time'? Is that Nikki's way of admitting Jack has usually come out on the losing end of his decades old feud with Victor? (which he has) .... Victor struck a low blow - how cruel (and irrelevent) of him to bring up what Cassie would think of Nikki with Jack Abbott (especially after she thanked him for the honorary lunch). Cassie had nothing against Jack - and would presumably have a bigger problem with her mother dating the father of her past two husbands; the man she called Grandpa. Talk about throwing stones from a glass house ... Oh let me guess - Daisy's gonna disappear (or turn up dead) and Ricky's gonna use his recording to frame her. How very original. Red may soon be in orange again.
