Mr and Mrs DA are at G-worm when Avery bursts in - Vikki on her heels - to announce that Nick and Phyllis are getting married today - it's crunch time.
At the penthouse, Nick has the marriage license and will call Kay to officiate. That leaves Phyllis to call Daniel. Answering on the patio, Daniel and Lucy will be there of course - please don't bring Daisy. Your Mom moved up the wedding? Daisy guesses - and if she's 'off the hook' - to 'stay home and relax', Lucy will be staying home with her.
Arriving at CL's with Heather, Paul chats with Noah and Eden (glad to hear they're roommates - with Ricky across the hall). Aside, Paul admits he's afraid of what Ricky might do - to anyone.
Tim awakens to very loud banging at his door. Ricky's pissed that Dr Tim's not answering his calls. Phyllis showed up yesterday - and Tim blames him. Phyllis was here!?
Victor and Sharon are at the club. She feels energized - life is full of surprises (like the necklace she found under her pillow). Jack wheels over (with Nikki) to gloat. Victor would like a word with Jack (and Nikki could use a talk with Sharon).
Back at the penthouse, Nick is such an eager groom. Kay's gonna officiate. They consider announcing the pregnancy - and Daisy not being invited. Phyllis also doesn't want Sharon there. She wants to feel the love on this happy day.
I'm your wife - Lucy's mother, Daisy whines. Hearing that Phyllis is pregnant, Daisy's more determined to go. It's just a few hours. Daniel then wheels Lucy out - time to go play dress-up (which seems to give Daisy an idea).
A pro at last minute weddings, Lauren has just the dress for Avery. And after they head to Fenmore's, Vikki talks to Mike about whether she should run BofN or not.
Victor chuckles - knowing Jack can't pay by the deadline, BofN still belongs to him. For a brief moment - in name only, Jack assures. Time's ticking away, Victor warns.
Victor is a kind and loving man. So no - Sharon's not ashamed (to be Victor's friend). Nikki congratulates her on sleeping her way through two generations of Newman's.
On the patio, Paul updates Heather on Rachel's 'suicide' - then Greg's 'accident'. He died coming to talk to Paul about Ricky.
Inside, Dr Tim confirms he didn't tell Phyllis about Ricky's visit. He now wants to know about Sasha Green. Get out - Tim's not saying another word. True, he's not a DR anymore, but knows a sociopath when he sees one.
Still at the club, Jack tells Abby that his money's tied up - he's a little short. It'd be a great investment - and she'd have a prominent role at BofN. What's not to love? Oh - Abby's sure her father will finds LOTS not to love about that.
As Victor rejoins her, Sharon has no more time to waste with Nikki (she has a beauty division to run). Ah - your ex husband, Nikki turns to take a call from Nick. Of course she and Jack will attend the wedding (and thinks it a wise decision that Sharon won't be). Good that you're busy today, Nikki snipes at Sharon and Victor - then walks off to take another call. Nick then calls Victor - to invite him to the wedding (without Sharon). Victor asks him to reconsider. Nick insists - it's not appropriate - his bride doesn't wanna see his ex on her wedding day. Victor might not be able to clear his schedule, Nick wants him there - but it's his call. Hanging up, Victor announces the wedding. And I'm not invited? Sharon guesses.
Lauren and Avery arrive at the penthouse with garment bags. Nick thrown out, the three girls oooh and ahhh over the dresses.
Decorating the tables at G-worm, Vikki talks about BofN being her baby. Yeah - but working for Jack? Talk to Victor first, Mike advises. Jack will have me, my Mom, BofN - Dad can only take so much before he flips out, Vikki frets.
Jack's still campaigning to Abby - Vikki will be CEO - but having Abby onboard will honour BofN's roots. She knows the younger demographic. And you need my big fat wallet, Abby quips. It's a good investment. You and Vikki are Abbott's too, Jack reminds. Abby nods - I'm in. As they're about to go to the office - to finalize it - Nikki appears; no office - we have a wedding to attend.
Nick finds Noah at CL's - to ask him to be his best man. Eden's invited too.
Just this once, Victor will respect Nick's feelings. No one's ever gonna accept that you and I are together, Sharon pouts. Victor understands Nick's decision - though he'd rather have Sharon at his side.
Looking stunning in her dress, Phyllis sends Lauren and Avery out - she needs a minute to herself ~hug~ See you there. The bride alone for nanoseconds, Daisy shows up at the door - with a gift. Congratulations.
Heather trusts Paul instincts - but how to proceed? Paul asks Heather to listen as family - not as an attorney (and keep this to herself). A well dressed Daniel (with Lucy) joins them. Heather's surprised to hear he and Daisy are married. After Daniel wheels Lucy inside, Paul quickly turns the conversation back to Ricky.
You have as much reason to hate Phyllis as I do, Ricky reminds - and WOULD take her down if you had the guts. Get out - or Dr Tim goes to the police and Phyllis. That'd be poor judgment, Ricky warns. We're done, Tim holds the door open. Tim, Tim, Tim - are you really gonna make this harder than it has to be? Ricky mutters as he's shown out.
At Jack's, Nikki pouts - she can't believe the men she loved fell for Sharon's charms; Victor, Jack, Nick .... We both got WAY over her, Jack points out. Even if Sharon came to the wedding, no one will notice her. And soon, it'll be Nikki and Jack at the altar ~kiss~
Whaddaya want?! Please - Daisy's trying - for Lucy's sake. She knows she's not invited to the wedding - but wants them all to be happy. She has another gift. Strings? No - something that might include her in the wedding - info on Ricky. Phyllis doesn't wanna hear about that freak - on the happiest day of her life. Daisy drops the nice act - God - you can't stop being a bitch long enough for me to do you a favour. How can Nick marry you - after he knows what you're like? How can he have another baby with you?
Phyllis flips - you wanna talk to ME about having a kid? You're a thug - who's tormented people I love. You wanna tell your precious daughter about how she was conceived? Putting her father in a coma the night she was born? You dangle her like a carrot! You're a loser - no one cares about you! You hate me? Because you ARE me - older but no wiser - Daisy screeches - Lucy loves me! I'll always have more than you - no matter how many babies you crank out! Finally managing to wrestle Daisy out, Phyllis is soon screaming in agony. Help! Oh God - she clutches her belly (unable to get to the phone). Daisy pauses in the hallway - but ignores Phyllis' screams for help.
At G-worm, Vikki hugs Nick - surprise weddings are the best. Billy will be watching via computer. Faith and a much older Summer arrive. Next is Victor. Jack asks for a minute with him (and when Kay and Nikki leave), Jack assures the money will be in his account before the Judge's deadline. Tick tock, Victor doesn't seem convinced. Nick tells Kay that Phyllis will be here any minute (which is relayed to the guests). Dad didn't bring his 'shiny plus-one' (that's his gift), Nick whispers to Kay. On cue, Sharon makes her grand entrance; the only thing brighter than her dress, is the smile she bestows upon all.
Back on the patio, Heather agrees to be just a sounding board for Paul (who decides it's time to leave). Heather declares him a good Dad ~hug~ Ricky appears. No, he's not interrupting - they've got someplace to be. Busy day for all of us, Ricky walks off - sniffling as he watches his Dad (full of regret) and sister leave.
Sharon sashays into G-worm to congratulate Nick. Classy, he growls - must he escort her out? Cause she sure won't be there when his bride arrives. Sharon informs that she's with Victor. Avery and Lauren report that Phyllis is driving herself - thought she'd be here by now. She will be - this day's gonna be perfect for her, Nick eyeballs Sharon.
Please! Can't anyone hear me? Phyllis rolls around on the floor (the phone off the hook and emitting a busy signal). Oh - the baby, Phyllis groans. No - no!!! No!! Please help me!! The elevator dings it's arrival - and Daisy steps onto it.
Next: Nobody wants you here, Nikki hisses at Sharon. Well Victor does, she gloats .... Daniel - what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at your Mom's wedding? Daisy asks (at CL's) .... Jack Abbott and BofN - it'd be a dreadful mistake - and I won't allow it, Victor tells Abby.
My Thoughts: Sharon and Victor may have spent the night together, but they don't appear to be any closer; physically ... If Jack's just 'a little short' - and has money invested, surely he could apply for a business loan - maybe use the equity in his home for collateral .... Is Vikki really expecting an objective opinion from Mike (he may not work for Victor anymore - but old habits are hard to break - if his head wasn't still up Victor's @ss, Mike would tell Vikki to make her own decision - she IS a grown woman after all). And why does Vikki even care about Victor's opinion? When did she become so in need of his approval again? Victor hasn't apologized for any of his deplorable actions (when trying to destroy her marriage to Billy) ... Since there was no notice for this wedding, is G-worm closing to the public without notice? What about people who made an advance dinner reservation for this evening? .... WTH is Jack talking about? How will having Abby onboard be honouring BofN's roots? Especially with Vikki as CEO? Abby has nothing to do with BofN. She's qualified because she 'knows social media' (meaning she can Twitter and Face'place')? ..... Phyllis was right in everything she said to Daisy (but let's not forget that she did the exact same thing - and then some) .... There's absolutely NO excuse (or reason) for Sharon crashing Nick and Phyllis' wedding. Nick's right - it's totally classless (and disrespectful). Even Daisy had the good sense to steer clear of a wedding she's not welcome at. Sharon shows up - having made the effort to change into a dress obviously designed to be 'noticed' - smiling like an idiot. Nick's a wuss - he should have showed her out immediately. Even Victor told Sharon that they should respect Nick's 'feelings' (just this once). The couple getting married (and footing the bill) have every right to choose the guest list - and Sharon was specifically told (by her new love interest no less) that she's NOT on it. Get the hell out. She just gets more and more dislikable every day. Maybe Lauren should put her 'biceps' to good use ... Nick's been looking for Noah everywhere? And didn't make CL's his first stop? ... 'Super girl' is now a lovely young teenager (who'll surely soon be company for Fen) ... No comment on nuHeather - who, for some reason, gives off an 'asexual' vibe.
