Phyllis explains to Nick how her miscarriage was caused by Daisy; who kept pushing - not literally. She snapped - said things to upset me - just a little shoving - Phyllis wouldn't put the baby at risk (but realizes she did by letting Daisy in). Nick consoles his devastated fiance.
On the patio, Daisy reports the sitter can take Lucy for a while - so she can listen to Daniel mope about his Mom losing her baby - today of all days (and flashback to the altercation; leaving Phyllis crying out for help). Wait Daniel - Daisy has something to tell him (before he goes to check on his Mom) - about what happened ....
Avery's still at G-worm with Noah and Summer (who've learned to deal with their unpredictable parents). Leaving, Avery bumps into Ricky - telling him to 'shut up' (when he expresses fake concern over the postponed wedding).
At the club, Heather entertains Paul with stories of her dating experiences in New York. Oh how they missed one another.
Genevieve bumps into the Ashby's at the club (where she's now living - because the Feds also seized her house).
Heading to the spa, Lily leaves Cane to praise Genevieve (who's learned from her mistakes).
Heather's happy to be working for Mike (who'll be a good DA; ironic given his history some may think - but it's a plus that he understands 'the dark side'). Heading to the gym, Heather leaves Paul with a kiss - and something to frown about; Ricky's just not the son and brother they hoped for.
Back at G-worm, Ricky types; Phyllis Newman Exposed - the Unauthorized Biography.
Phyllis tries to make sense of it all - women get upset all the time - they don't lose their babies. Nick doesn't want to assign blame - tragic things happen without reason or cause. Phyllis goes on to whine about Ricky's book on her past sins. He's a jackass, Nick offers a hug.
Daniel's NOT happy when Daisy confesses she went to make peace with Phyllis (whom she wasn't 'badgering'). She was perfectly fine when I left her. Daisy runs after Daniel (who can't deal with her no matter how hard he tries). On cue, Kevin appears to referee.
Genevieve doesn't need Cane's help - she withdrew a little cash before turning herself in. Declining his offer to stay with them, Cane's support means a lot to her.
As Kevin stands between them, the Romalotti's argue - until Daniel's DONE; his mother needs him.
As Ricky continues to type at the bar, Noah calls Nick - but it's soon Phyllis who's updating Summer that she was in the hospital. Hanging up, there's no mention of the miscarriage. Later neighbour, Ricky taunts Noah as they leave.
Nick continues to console Phyllis - who talks of karma - Daisy doing the things SHE did - past sins coming back to haunt her - it's payback. Nick KNOWS Phyllis to be an amazing mother - not someone who deserves to lose a baby.
Avery's now at the club's bar with Paul - relaying her unpleasant run in with Ricky. Paul can't wear blinders where his son's concerned - and as he's talked into joining Avery at the spa, sees a 'missing' bulletin on the TV; Tim Reid. Yeah - he used to know him.
Kevin lectures Daisy - it takes time to be forgiven. She blew it by pushing too hard - and is practically a single Mom again.
Phyllis is upstairs when Daniel chats with Nick - who reports that her pain didn't start until Daisy left. Phyllis comes down to be fussed over by her concerned son (who leaves for frozen yogurt and books). That leaves Nick with something to ask Phyllis...
Online, Paul reads all about Tim Reid - who didn't show up for work and isn't at home. No signs of foul play. Paul's on the job - leaving Avery to chat with Heather - then Ricky (who's told that she still holds the lease). Ricky finding a place to stay isn't HER problem. Agreeing to vacate, Ricky doesn't look so agreeable when his back's turned.
Now with Lily, Cane loves that she would have let Genevieve stay with them. So - what's her plan? That's the million dollar question.
On the patio, Genevieve pressures Kevin for an answer. She has a secret account in Switzerland that's being drained. Kevin's helping to PREVENT a crime.
Nick still very much wants to marry Phyllis today. Yes, really. They'll face the good and the bad together - so Kay's called for a favour.
Paul questions Tim Reid's landlord (Brett Butler; former comedienne, sitcom star and drug addict). She noticed a couple of vehicles in the parking lot; one sounds like the SUV Paul leant Ricky when he first came to town. Security cameras? In this neighbourhood? Now THAT'S funny.
Still at the club, Ricky's leaving a message for Daisy - him being thrown out of his apartment is an even bigger problem for HER.
At the club, Avery's making it clear to Heather that she's no ally of Ricky's. It's good for Paul that she's here - and hopes it works out at the DA's office. Heather looks forward to a fresh start.
Noah, Faith and Summer are at the penthouse when Kay arrives with a bouquet. Daniel's back too. No, Phyllis isn't wearing her dress - the only important thing is her babies and her man (who claims she's never looked more beautiful - he's never loved her more). Holding the bride and groom's hands, Kay says it's not just a wedding - it's the forming of a family.
Pondering how much money his mother has, Cane doubts she'll be able to get a job - even at CL's. She says she has everything under control - which makes Cane worry about what trouble Genevieve will get into now.
On the patio, Kevin doesn't think it worth the risk - he'd be violating International law - he has a family now. OK - you had your chance - Genevieve will find someone else willing to make a quick fortune. Hold on - Kevin will do it.
Paul bumps into Ricky at the club - he's not there to see Heather, he's working on a missing person case. Sounds serious - good luck, Ricky exits quickly.
Ignoring Ricky's message, Daisy looks unhappy when Daniel doesn't answer her call.
Nick goes first - yada yada yada - he will be faithful in every sense of the word, as long as they both shall live. Phyllis goes next - she won't say 'in joy and in sorrow' - Nick shows her joy - she will always be faithful - and has faith in 'us'. Hoping the kids are listening, Kay gives a speech on faithfulness and marriage. Pronounced man and wife, the Newman's kiss to the applause of their children.
Next: I better get my things, Ashley hands her key to Tucker ... I think she has money stashed away somewhere, Cane says. How are you gonna find out? Lily asks.... Somebody's been stealing money from her, Kevin tells Chloe (who says 'and'??) And Kevin's gonna figure out who - isn't that great? Nu uh, Chloe disagrees.
