At CL's, Kevin forgot all about the concert in the park. S'OK - Chloe's distracted too - about Abby. And she got a text about Daniel's blood being on Daisy's scarf?? Kevin passes along what he overheard from Heather - the cops think Daniel's making it look like Daisy's alive (and on her way to Canada). Wait - is Kevin afraid it's true? Yes, judging by the look on his face.

At the club, Heather invites Paul to the concert in the park; fireworks, wine and music will take his mind off everything. Updating that he spoke to Ricky, Paul's relieved - at least he's got nothing to do with Daisy's disappearance (since someone else was taken in for questioning).

Eden sends Kevin a text - he's to meet her in the park (for BIG news). Putting the 'proof' in her bag (Daisy's phone and wallet), Eden gets as far as the door. Ricky wonders what she's doing in his suite.

At the station, Mike tells Daniel and Avery that Daisy's 'husband' is making charges to her credit card - his blood's on her scarf - and Daniel has no alibi. That's not enough to arrest him! Avery yelps - as Phyllis arrives to agree. As the lawyers and Daniel head to an interrogation room, Phyllis calls Nick (who's on his way). Hi Phyllis, Malloy stuns her.

Due to his relationship with Phyllis, Mike's having someone else question Daniel (who tosses his keys - no search warrant needed - he's innocent).

Back at CL's, Chloe suggests they go support Daniel. But with all the evidence piling up, Kevin's not sure what to believe. Getting Eden's text, the Fisher's are off to the park - to hear her big news.

Getting a call from Mike, Heather tells Paul that Daniel was the one brought in for questioning (though he still doesn't, and may never, trust Ricky).

'Dumb' Eden apologizes for forgetting her bracelet in Ricky's suite. Never mind shots downstairs - there's beer here (unless there's some reason she wants to leave).

No, Malloy assures Phyllis he's not there to build a case against Daniel - Victor summoned him to find Abby. He's glad to be back in GC - see some people he's missed (hint, hint). Nope - not Nina (who's in LA). When Nick arrives, Phyllis catapults into his arms - so glad he's there. Malloy manages weak congratulations - while Nick claims it slipped his mind (to tell Phyllis that his Dad called Malloy in). Assuring that everything will be OK, Nick leaves Phyllis to ask Malloy to help her son - yeah, for old time's sake.

Joining Avery and Daniel in the interrogation room, Nick's disgusted to hear Mike's searching the studio. And when Avery goes to check on things, Daniel and Nick discuss who might be setting him up. After what happened to Cassie, Daniel couldn't take a life. Yes, Nick knows that - and will prove it to Mike.

Looking uncomfortable, Mike oversees the cops as they search Daniel's apartment.

Reluctant, Malloy doesn't work with the GCPD anymore. Pleading until he agrees, Phyllis is muttering 'thank you's' when Nick returns - also appreciating Malloy's help (though not looking too happy about it).

Also looking unhappy, Mike picks up a framed photo - placed face down; Daniel and Kevin. He sets it back on the table.

Heather joins Daniel and Avery (who finds it strange that she's the one questioning Daniel). Yeah well - who thought Daisy would go missing - or that Daniel would be the one responsible?

At the park, the Fishers bump into Paul (who explains that Heather was called in to work). He's surprised Kevin's not at the station. And as that's where they head off to, Paul agrees to let Eden know if he sees her.

Giving Eden another beer, Ricky would rather stay there - it's nice - and private. Jumping off the bed, Eden picks up a photo of his Mom - she's beautiful. Where is she now? A mental hospital - but she's still a better parent than Paul. Kissing Eden, Ricky's happy with the way the night's going.

Surprised to see Mr Malloy (at Daniel's), Mike's told that he's working Abby's case. No - he doesn't mind Malloy doing a favour for Phyllis - be my guest. Daniel may be innocent. Yet, here Mike is - trying to prove he's not. He doesn't have enough to hold Daniel - never mind prosecute him. Maybe it'll stay that way, Mike responds.

Several people heard Daniel threaten his wife, Heather begins. Daniel was just blowing off steam (because Daisy caused his Mom to lose her baby). Was he in the alley? Where the bloody scarf was found? Heather doubts how Daniel injured his hand. Daniel didn't much like his wife (who didn't have a single friend). Why not talk to her enemies? Because all the evidence points to YOU.

Evading Ricky, Eden suddenly gets a tummy ache - she better go. Ricky quickly produces a glass of water and some 'magic' pills. Don't you trust me? Grabbing Eden's arm, the contents of her bag spill out; Daisy's wallet and phone. Uh oh.

Back at the station, Phyllis frets (while Nick makes it clear he doesn't appreciate Ronan's help). She's so glad when Kevin (with Chloe) arrives. He'll stand up for Daniel right? Kevin hesitates - he needs to talk to Daniel. Daisy got to him - turned him against his best friend, Phyllis realizes (then takes exception when Chloe compares Kevin's sister to hers). Don't make Kevin feel any worse, Chloe marches off.

Heather must hear from Mike before releasing Daniel (who knows nothing was found in his apartment). Kevin then visits. He doesn't want to believe Daniel did this. DO you? Daniel's surprised. *I*know he didn't do it, Avery chides - then leaves Daniel to talk about Cassie. Yes, he hated Daisy - but didn't do anything to her. As my friend, believe me.

Nothing incriminating found at the apartment, Malloy leaves Mike to read an email (from a frightened Daisy to Kevin; whom she's writing in case something happens to her).

I'm such a klutz, Eden's nervous - gotta go. Ricky wants to know why the phone and wallet were in her backpack. OMG - is that Daisy's?! she feigns surprise. Poor Eden - now you know my secret - and now I have to kill you. Running, then wrestling, Eden hits her head on the bathtub. Ricky grins down at her still body.

Malloy's back at the station - updating that nothing was found against Daniel at the apartment - they've gotta let him go. Insisting on seeing Daniel, Phyllis thanks Malloy - and as Avery goes to do paperwork, Chloe comes out - a weird night just got weirder. Her ring flashed in his face, Malloy notes that a lot of weddings have taken place while he was gone. Explaining why Victor summoned him, Malloy needs to talk to Chloe about Carmine (later - she needs to check on Kevin). He's happy everything worked out for her.

Saying their good byes, Nick and Phyllis leave Daniel to express disappointment that Kevin doesn't believe him. Oh alright - he believes him.

Humming, Ricky drags an unconscious Eden into the middle of the bathroom floor - to caress her hair. He wraps Daisy's stuff in a newspaper and tosses it in the housekeepers cart.

Kevin rejoins Chloe - worried that he can't reach Eden. Calling Paul, he worries more when hearing she didn't show up at the park. Something's up. She was convinced Ricky had something to do with Daisy. They fought - and she probably went to see Ricky. Paul will go check it out. Mike then tells the Fishers, Avery and Malloy about Daisy's email - it doesn't look good for Daniel.

At the park, Phyllis and Nick discuss 'payback'. Is the universe trying to tell her something? Everyone has stuff in their past - Nick loves Phyllis - and nothing will change that ~hug~

Mike continues; Daisy was afraid of Daniel (and what he might do to her). She wanted Kevin to raise Lucy (if something happened to her). She didn't trust Daniel or Phyllis. Mike's got enough to make an arrest. Avery goes to tell Daniel - Kevin marching after her.

Avery breaks the bad news to Daniel (the email). Kevin and Daniel stare at one another through the window (Kevin leaving).

Standing over Eden, Ricky's got a knife in his hand - when Paul comes knocking Ricky! Ricky!

Next: Malloy's at the station with Ashley, Victor and Sharon - I'm glad you're all here - I can tell everyone the news at once ... Are you charging him? Avery wants to know. You have a great lawyer, Mike tells Daniel - do exactly what she tells you. Got it? ... Paul tells Ricky - I'm looking for Eden.

My Thoughts: Yes - Mike IS trying to prove that Daniel's not innocent - that's what the prosecuting side does (though the DA doesn't usually oversee crime scenes personally) Crime statistics sure have skyrocketed since Mike too office - people are disappearing left and right. He better start catching some crooks if he wants to make the position permanent ... Daniel's place was hardly turned upside down - in fact Mike was actually straightening things up. And there doesn't seem to be any limit to the number of visitors Daniel can have ... How could Isabella possibly be a better parent than Paul? If she was capable at all, wouldn't she have been moved to a halfway house by now? ... Important details of an ongoing investigation are still being passed around via text - and overheard by the ADA in the local coffee shop. What a joke the GCPD is. And forget about 'chain of evidence' on that scarf .... Oh Daniel - Daisy didn't CAUSE your Mom to lose her baby - she merely failed to help as she was doing so .... Since when is someone being taken in for questioning a guarantee that they're guilty? They've had innocent people charged and serving their sentence while the guilty party walks around free. I don't understand why Paul's heaving a sigh of relief (and has he, along with everyone else, forgotten all about Tim Reid?) .... Won't Victor be happy to hear the detective he flew into town on his helicopter is working harder on Daniel's case - than finding Abby. Malloy didn't raise any objection when Chloe refused to discuss Carmine with him! I guess she's no longer worried about Abby; who she believes saved her life ... Wouldn't it be relatively easy to determine that the items being ordered on Daisy's credit card - are being charged by phone (not someone physically entering stores between GC and Canada)? .... It slipped Nick's mind that Malloy was coming back to town? Phyllis sure buys that lie easily (though I guess she can't be too indignant - considering the secrets that's slipped HER mind) ... That bracelet of Eden's looks like it'd take a crow bar to get off - no way it'd slip off .. Ah - so Nina's in LA - at least THAT mystery's solved ... Why is Phyllis so aghast at the thought of Chloe comparing her sister to Daisy (hasn't she compared HERSELF to Daisy many times?) ... How will the Silver Chipmunk showing up at the station help 'convince' Heather and Mike that Daniel's innocent? ... Why was Eden so quiet while being chased around Ricky's - you'd think she'd scream her head off .... The apple has fallen far from the tree this time - It took 'a long time' for Daniel to forgive himself for what happened to Cassie - yet his unconscionable mother doesn't even think she NEEDS forgiveness - because she's not at all sorry (in fact her attempt to murder Chris and Paul was Chris' fault - perfectly justifiable because she was 'kissing a man who was not her husband').
