Bringing Johnny down, Billy's plans to surprise Vikki with breakfast are thwarted - when she brings out a big plate of waffles n berries. Oh how happy she is that Billy's home - but still worried that Chelsea and Adam are plotting to take their son away.

Morning fiance ~kiss~ How is it that Chelsea can be so happy - but so disgusted at the same time; Jeff and Anita (one big happy family because they smell money) - then there's Vikki (the paranoia queen). No more talking (Adam soon has her giggling beneath the sheets).

Over breakfast at the club, Lauren assures Phyllis that Paul's telling the truth about Ricky's confession. Phyllis won't let her feel guilty about the gun - Paul saved Eden's life. What kind of person deliberately plots to end someone's life? Yeah - Phyllis can't imagine.

Arriving at CL's, Heather watches - then approaches Daniel (who's playing doting Dad). He prefers not to discuss their 'business' in front of Lucy. Due to Paul's situation, Heather's removed herself from his case.

In the interrogation room, Nina fusses over Paul (who's still torn up about Ricky). The whole thing's so arbitrary (to Nina). Chris enters to agree ~hug~ Paul? He's 'hangin' in'. Barely, Nina whispers (as Paul tears up in Chris' arms). She'll do whatever she can to help. Hopefully Mike and Malloy will realize he's telling the truth - so Paul can get out before Ricky's funeral.

At the station, Malloy stresses the need to find Daisy (the only way to prove Paul's story). Mike doubts they'll find her (she's resourceful and hard to find). And if she's dead, Malloy knows it could take years before Paul's cleared of suspicion. On his laptop, they review security footage from the club - the night of the shooting (in which Ricky's seen dropping something into the housekeeper's cart). They then watch Paul returning to the room. Back to the first clip - why wouldn't Ricky throw the newspaper in his own trash? Why is he looking so cagey? What did he throw out?

Back at the Abbott's, Billy and Vikki discuss Abby - then his meetings in LA. Vikki's proud - the reality show's a go. Now it's time for Billy to reassure the 'irrational' Vikki (who's terrified she'll lose this baby she loves - like she did two other kids). Can Billy guarantee that Adam and Chelsea won't ruin their family?

Distraction sex over, Chelsea thinks Anita and Jeff 'shameless'. With these genes, how can she be a better person? Adam likes her genes just fine (and without her genes). Nothing like those two, Adam reminds that she turned down Victor's 10 million - the Abbott's money (and gave them her baby). He's one of the kindest people Chelsea has ever met. And now it's a race to the shower ....

Malloy's gonna talk to Paul - find out what Ricky was up to with that paper. Mike greets Chris (and refers he to Ronan on his way out). Good to see you, they hug (but Chris then gets to business - releasing the innocent Paul). Go find the knife - let Paul bury his son. Malloy still have questions (and some of his 48 hours left to get em).

At CL's, Daniel expresses concern for Paul - and is sorry about Ricky. They weren't close - but Heather still thinks it sad - Mike will assign someone who's fair. Like you? Daniel quips. Heather knew all along that he didn't kill Daisy.

Lauren's relieved that Daisy's gone - and assumes Phyllis is too. The Carter's DO have a way of coming back from the dead - hopefully not this time. Phyllis wishes she could be sure.

Mike arrives at the club to briefly join Lauren and Phyllis (who gives some attitude and gets it back in return). After he leaves with a glare, Lauren scolds Phyllis (who wonder if being DA is worth it). Lauren sometimes wonders that herself.

The housekeeper's brought over to Mike (in front of Ricky's suite). Hearing that the victim discarded a newspaper into her cart, she unfortunately knows nothing.

Now that she's off the investigation, Heather knows Daniel wouldn't hurt anyone. He apologizes for Lucy - she's strange around women (because she's had 3 Mom's). Heather bets she misses her Mom - and yes, would like to hold Lucy.

Johnny down for his nap, Vikki sits in Billy's lap - she's not blaming him for her insecurities - but knowing Chelsea and Adam are engaged, fears it's only a matter of time before she attacks. The deal was to be allowed to know how Johnny is. No - she hasn't asked - Vikki knows her reaction isn't logical. Chelsea doesn't want our son - if she changes her mind, Billy promises they'll annihilate her. Stop worrying and enjoy this life we've created for ourselves.

Nina's asked to stay, but when Paul's OK with Chris staying, so is Malloy. Avery's tied up in court. Despite Chris advising him not to, Paul's willing to answer questions - but doesn't know what Ricky was throwing out on the video - or why he'd confess. Did he know he was about to die? Ricky knew you were gonna shoot him - was he confessing because he wanted Paul to spare his life??

Adam doesn't wanna start their lives in a hotel suite - he wants to find a house. On a bartender's salary? Never mind that, what kind of house does Chelsea want? The kind Adam's in.

The housekeeper's pressured by Mike - is she positive she didn't see the newspaper? The victim was shot by his father - both deserve justice. The housekeeper admits it caught her eye. Did she pick it up? To recycle it? Was there anything inside. The housekeeper crumbles - handing over Daisy's wallet and phone.

The 'insanely cute' Lucy now in her stroller, Daniel thinks Heather will make a great Mom some day. But finding a great Dad isn't Heather's forte. Leaving, she thanks Daniel.

In the main part of the station, Nina scolds Malloy (for treating Paul like a common criminal). He was so sweet to call - knowing Paul needed her - she thought they were on better terms (after the note in which he called her Mom for the first time). Seriously? Malloy denies that grilling Paul has anything to do with HER. A man is dead - Paul killed him - Malloy will find out (too damn bad if anyone has a problem with that). OK - exiting, Nina can see he hasn't changed at all. An excited Mike races in to show Malloy the items Ricky threw out (Daisy's cell and wallet are in bags).

Vikki's taken Billy's advice - called in a sitter so they can go out and have some fun. Bloody Mary's - the arcade. Perfect. Fabulous. Vikki thanks Billy - both are confident nothing is gonna happen. Nobody will mess with their wonderful life ~kiss~

Adam brings in the mail - and is told to open Chelsea's GED results. You aced it. I passed?! She leaps into Adam's arms.

Look at that math score - 97% overall. Adam won't let Chelsea give him the credit. Let's go celebrate - by flying to Paris, London. Adam's serious. Insane, but Chelsea wants to go to G-worm. Her GED, the engagement - nothing can bring Chelsea down - maybe she should make peace with Anita and Jeff. Chelsea's so excited about her future - nobody can take this away ~hug~

Daniel's with Lauren and Phyllis at the club - to update that Heather's off the case (and never thought him guilty). Who's taking over? Won't be Mike. Phyllis is sure the police will realize they had the wrong guy the entire time.

Know what this means? Mike's pumped. Ricky may have been responsible for Daisy's disappearance. It's damning, Malloy's not completely sold - but yes, it excludes Daniel as a person of interest. Mike wastes no time calling him - I have some excellent news 'my friend'.

A cop delivers a box to Heather, Ricky's personal effects for his next of kin. Alone, she looks sad.

Chris rejoins Nina and Paul - Avery and Chris' supervisor agree she should stay in GC to defend Paul(who's character she can speak to). Grateful, Paul gives Chris a 'thank you' hug.

Mike tells Daniel that he and Malloy have dropped him as a suspect - no hard feelings? Nope - Daniel hangs up to update Lauren and Phyllis (Daisy's phone and wallet have been found). All three (and the cops) believe Ricky killed Daisy ~hug~

Malloy sees the case as more complicated - for Paul. The new evidence corroborates what he said about Ricky - but does it clear Paul?

At G-worm, Adam and Chelsea don't see Jeff and Anita - we're off to a good start. Cue the Abbott's entrance (as smiles fade all around).

Next: Mike tells Chris - The only thing we have proof of, is that Paul shot an unarmed man ... Paul gets a visit from Eden - no one blames her for not remembering. I DO remember some things, Eden replies .... Daniel's at the bar with Phyllis - you make it sound like you want them to find a body. I'm trying to protect your daughter, she claims.
