Today's Spoiler

At RS for some NE related business, Nick tells Billy and Vikki that he hasn't heard from Phyllis either - perhaps she's still with Mike.

In the interrogation room, Heather, Mike, Malloy, Paul and Nina are all discussing the possibility that Phyllis committed hit and run in 94. Chris obviously thinks so - and is off confronting her now.

Chris isn't leaving until Phyllis admits it - this is no joke. A credit card statement? Mine? Did I overspend at Fenmore's? Reminded of the hit and run, Phyllis hopes she's not being accused. Huh? Danny kissed you? Yes - and you'd have done anything to get me out of the way, Chris is confident (Phyllis pretending to be).

At CL's, Chloe joins Daniel (and hears Kevin's helping Mrs C with her Internet). Chloe's wifey 'brilliance' on hold, she's happy to hear Daniel's in the clear - they think Ricky killed Daisy He's glad Chloe understands (that it's sad Lucy lost her Mom). She then gripes about Abby getting only a slap on the wrist - at least Carmine's looking at jailtime.

At the club, Carmine thanks Rafe for defending him. Abby hopes he gets the same deal - community service and a fine. When can Rafe make that happen?

Chloe tells Daniel that she's gonna testify against Carmine - make him pay. And Abby - playing the damsel in distress. Yeah - but Daniel points out that THEY both have 'timeshares' in 'the land of bad behavior' too.

A deal? a doubtful Rafe reminds that Carmine put the DA's sister in law in his trunk. Dumbest move ever - but Carmine wouldn't have hurt her. He's a good guy who messed up - please do what you can. It'll take time - Mike's got a lot on his plate right now, Rafe informs.

Mike tells all that he questioned Phyllis about the credit card statement - but not the hit and run (the car rental wasn't circled on his copy). It's all speculation, Heather and Malloy point out. Even Paul can't think of a motive (but Nina can).

Huh - kiss? If Phyllis tried to run over every woman who's kissed one of her husbands .... You knew Danny didn't love you - couldn't stand our connection, Chris is told that Phyllis has moved on - isn't living in the past. Chris scoffs - this 'little piece of paper'? Plus your jealousy - your lies - obsession. How many times has Chris looked into the face of the woman who tried to kill her? Say good bye to life as you know it - it's over!

Getting input on NE's ad, Nick sure misses Vikki at work (but she's NOT missing working with Dad and Sharon). Nope - Vikki's fine away from NE, BofN - and their darling little sister.

Rafe gone, Carmine frets about going to jail - while Abby's full of reassurance. And why tell Ashley he's he's her boyfriend? Lies like that won't help me.

In the main station, Malloy basically asks Mike if he thinks Phyllis guilty. He hopes his best friend isn't - but there's only one way to make sure. Malloy will go get the old case file.

Back in the interrogation room, Nina asks Heather to leave her with Paul (is there anything she can do? Beside make Ricky's funeral arrangements?). Paul just wants out - to say a proper good bye to his son.

I'm warning you, Phyllis holds the door wide open (which Daniel enters through). What's going on here? I was just leaving - Chris marches out - leaving Daniel to force an update out of Phyllis (all about the credit card statements; who had em - who's got em now). Yes - she was confronted (by Mike and Chris) - and lied. What else could I do?

Abby said Carmine was her boyfriend - because her Mom was with Tucker - AND to prove he's not dangerous. No - Carmine wouldn't hate being her boyfriend. Good ~kiss~ Now let's get you out of this mess, Abby skips off.

Chloe joins the Abbott's and Nick at RS (to hear there'll be no more long lunches - the show's a go). Congratulations, Nick thinks it a good thing that Phyllis will have more responsibility. She'll be thrilled at throwing herself back into her work, he's sure.

There's no proof - nothing connecting Phyllis to the vehicle that hit Chris and Paul. That makes it alright? Daniel's troubled. You want me to go to prison? Lose my husband!? My job?! etc. etc. These people (and Chris) won't stop, Daniel stresses.

Back at the station, Chris updates that Phyllis acted shocked and indignant at the accusations. Mike's pulled the file - and wants an account of what happened. Chris will tell him everything - AFTER she talks to Paul.

Outside the interrogation room, Nina's not surprised that Chris' trip (to confront Phyllis) was wasted. Paul? He wants to go to his son's funeral. He questions Phyllis' motive - but no, Nina didn't say anything (but Chris needs to). That's why she's here. And now with Paul (who still questions motive), Chris confesses to kissing Danny the day they were to be married - that's why Phyllis came after me.

Leaving RS, Nick gives Abby a chilly greeting. Aloha - missed you guys! she chirps. Billy hopes she's not there for an interview - RS is one media outlet that won't indulge her. She's gone way too far. Reprimand noted - but Abby's there hoping Chloe will hear her out.

Nina appeals to Ronan - please release Paul. He's in hell right now. Because you're my mother? The funeral will give him comfort - please, Nina persists. There's nothing Malloy can do - ask Mike - it's his call.

Reading the hit and run file, Mike refuses to give it to Heather (who's to apply herself to some other crimes). Go to your office - leave Paul to me, Mike barks.

I let Danny kiss me - Phyllis must have seen us - Chris admits in tears - That kiss set off a chain of events - she feels horrible that Paul was almost killed trying to save her. Chris wanted to marry him - the kiss was a good bye to Danny). It's OK - Paul came to terms with her connection to Danny years ago. If Phyllis hit them, SHE'S responsible. In tears, Paul doesn't wanna discuss something that happened two decades ago - he must come to terms with what he did to his own son.

Phyllis is willing to take a chance with this - that Paul, Chris and Mike don't find enough evidence to come after her. Daniel hates that he knows what his mother did. He won't say anything - will watch it play out. In the meantime, Phyllis shouldn't have contact with Lucy (her pleas falling on deaf ears, she's left to mope).

Following Chloe around RS, Abby insists on apologizing. She feels awful - about the gala (wearing overalls) - everything. The Abbott's watch on as tolerates a hug. Oh, and could Chloe maybe reconsider her stance on Carmine?

Bumping into Daniel at CL's, Heather confides she got booted from the station (and her Dad's cases). Plural? Something else besides Ricky's death? Daniel's interested.

Malloy and Mike are now updated on the kiss Phyllis saw. Surely Mike must realize it's feasible. He reluctantly informs that the VIN numbers match - it's proof that links Phyllis to the car.

Returning to the penthouse, Nick asks Phyllis what's wrong - and is told she had a fight with Daniel. He needs to revisit the conversation Mike's call interrupted. Phyllis is too wiped out - it's nothing - I'm fine.

Back at RS, Chloe can't believe Abby's serious (in claiming that Carmine's a great guy - a sweetheart - a puppy dog - who wouldn't hurt her). The Abbott's completely on her side, Chloe wonders if Abby's certifiably insane - she will NOT back off on the guy who tried to kidnap her. Forget it!

Rejoining Paul, Nina delivers good news. Mike's not charging him at this time - and is releasing him. Hugging Nina, a blubbering Paul WILL be able to say good bye to his son.

Unable to discuss Paul's cases, Heather's just as nosey as Daniel (what's going on in HIS life?). Trust me, you don't wanna know, Daniel exits quickly.

Phyllis claims her problem is that Daniel told her she's a horrible person (which makes her wonder). You didn't hurt anyone, Nick encourages. Phyllis is looking at herself from her son's perspective (and doesn't like what she sees). Nick sees the woman he loves. I need you, Phyllis latches on for a kiss.

At the station, Chris' jaw hits the ground. Phyllis really did it, Malloy concludes. OMG - finally - we have the truth. It must be satisfying - but Mike points out that due to statute of limitations, Phyllis can't be prosecuted.

Next: I would rather be a valued employee than a charity case - hire me, Genevieve asks Tucker .... I hope it's not too late to repair what I have with Phyllis ... I know about the hit and run - it was you, Mike hisses at Phyllis.
