In the rehab room, Sarge encourages Jack to take another step. Oh my God! Jack's then helped to his wheelchair. This is significant alright - let's call the doctor. Jack's moved to tears - owing Sarge for making him work so hard. He can't wait to tell Nikki - the moment he's prayed for is here!

At the club, Sharon checks out the necklace she stole - flashing back to Victor agreeing that she doesn't know how to handle the beast. She then calls ranch security - to confirm that Nikki's still there.

You can't leave like this. Nikki's willing to stay - if Victor has something worthwhile to say. He has one question - is she really in love with Jack Abbott?

Hello? Somebody there? Paul goes back to mourning at Ricky's grave. Good bye son - I love you. Malloy appears - and is invited to arrest Paul (which is exactly what happens).

At the station, Chris and Nina tell Heather that Paul's being arrested - per DA's orders. Where the hell IS MIke?

Mike's at the penthouse - urging Phyllis to lean on Avery and Nick. Thanks for the heads up, Phyllis snaps. This isn't ethical, Mike explains the risk he took - get your affairs in order. My marriage? If she takes off, Mike will be all over her - Phyllis must face this. Thanks for coming by, Phyllis is left to fret (and face Nick when he returns).

Seated at the ranch, Nikki can't believe Victor wants to talk about Jack (whom she DOES love). Get out, Victor orders. You love Jack Abbott!? Get out! You deserve each other - don't come back. Don't worry, Nikki slams out.

Jack can't wait for his MRI - hoping to hear he'll be standing beside his bride. Sarge will keep the secret - but worries it won't happen in time. Jack WILL stand beside the one person who stood by him (if it kills him).

Mike back at the station - Malloy arriving with Paul, Heather, Nina and Chris express their displeasure. Paul's fine - and grateful he got to attend the funeral. The charge? First degree murder.

Nick's spoken to Mike and Avery (who both think Phyllis guilty of hit n run). For the last time - did you do this? Silence. It's true - you did it, Nick concludes.

Sarge is thrilled that his 'friend' has had a breakthrough - good work. Jack's left to call the future Mrs Abbott (as she enters the club). Yes, she'll get a table. Along comes Sharon (who's quickly told that Nikki's having lunch with her fiance). Nikki just came from the ranch - her horse isn't being taken care of properly. Sharon should to home and have a good ride.

As Sharon clip clops out, Eden arrives. Looking worried, she pauses - then heads up the club's staircase.

Back at the station, Mike's still under fire from Team Paul. This is wrong! Nina shrieks. Yes, Malloy's kicking out his own mother (unless she'd rather be locked up). And when Mike orders Heather out too, Paul calms the ladies down. Chris and Mike are then left to argue the evidence. Put your case together, the DA growls.

Phyllis rented a car - but it was a mistake. A mistake is buying the wrong toothpaste, Nick corrects - two people almost lost their lives. Why'd she leave Chris and Paul lying in the street? Phyllis regrets it - couldn't think - you don't know what I went through. That doesn't erase it - and that she didn't trust Nick enough to tell him.

At the club for lunch, Jack tells Nikki to forget her run in with Victor - she's with HIM now. I certainly am, she beams.

I wasn't expecting you, Victor asks what Sharon's there to talk to him about (NE). He can't help but notice her new necklace (as she's making such a point of it).

At CL's, Nina's sorry she got them kicked out of the station. Heather's only able to control herself because Chris is defending Paul. OK - Nina will try that too - will Paul be released on bail?

Paul's not surprised that Chris wasn't able to get him out on bail. Chris and Mike then discuss Paul's safety in jail. He'll be in protective custody.

All those times we opened up, Nick scolds - Phyllis said nothing (only admitting it because her back's to the wall). Phyllis was terrified - of this - what's happening now. When is the right time to confess? Causally over dinner? Yes - Phyllis was jealous of Chris (which makes Nick realize he shoulda been afraid for the hated Sharon).

Over lunch, Jack and Nikki laugh about a night at the theater - many years ago, when they were first married. Nikki can be rather feisty alright - Jack owes her for his progress. Yes, we make a good team. Jack will be there for Nikki the way she has him. He'll always have her back.

Victor and Sharon settle their business - then decide to have the chef make dinner.

How's Paul? Eden joins Heather and Nina at CL's - and is alarmed to hear that Paul's back in jail; arrested. Eden's sure Mike hates all this - and feels guilty that Paul may spend his life in jail because she can't remember.

In an interrogation room, Chris informs Paul that he'll be in protective custody. Grateful, Paul's accepted his fate. Chris should too - this is where he belongs.

Nick needn't have feared for Sharon - Phyllis was a different person when she came to GC. You know the real me. Nick's not so sure he ever did. Phyllis knew he wouldn't love her anymore if she told him.

Chris will fight to clear Paul's name. He pulled the trigger to protect Eden. Ricky was going to stab Eden. Plus. Paul didn't aim to kill. Paul now wonders if there was another way (which Chris chalks up to grieving). Paul still took his child's life - something Chris can't understand. No, she's not a parent - but she knows he loved Ricky (and how this hurts). Fight - we can get through this - together. Paul doesn't care anymore - he'll accept his punishment.

In another room, Malloy and Mike chat. Usually they wouldn't canvass homeless people to find the missing knife. But Malloy realizes Mike wants to disprove the case against Paul.

Eden's been back to Ricky's door many times - but it's still a blank. But you must get your memory back to help Paul (Nina immediately apologizes - then leaves Heather to suggest Eden stop trying so hard - it'll come back). She HAS to believe that.

Mike's already compromised himself hundreds of ways since becoming DA. Like with Phyllis? Malloy queries. Mike admits he'd like to prove Paul innocent (Malloy too). Then let's do it. Mike will work the legal end; Malloy the cop end.

Chris can't leave the exhausted Paul - until he remembers who he is; a good man - a good father - NOT a murderer. Don't give up - Chris sure as hell won't.

Nikki's smile is a bribe - to start planning the wedding. Jack's right - we're lucky - there's no reason to wait ~kiss~

This'll be a while, on the phone, Victor dismisses Sharon (who gives him a strange look as she fondles the necklace and heads upstairs).

Nick can't give Phyllis any answers right now. Sleep on it - maybe tomorrow, she's hopeful. Alas, Nick's not sure what he feels for her right now. You can't leave - we're married. Nick's packing his bags and going back to his place.

Next: Adam (with Chelsea) sits across from the Fishers. You came to me. No - SHE (Chloe) came to you. Kevin was blindsided. Adam will withdraw the offer - if that's what they want. No! Chloe jumps.... You remember Carmine, Abby rubs his arm. You get out now, Victor growls (at the ranch)... Nick! Sharon's surprised to find him at the tackhouse.

My Thoughts: You don't know what *I* went through, Phyllis has the nerve to tell Nick. SHE wasn't the one hit by a car and left for dead - but she WAS the one who caused whatever she 'went through' (which is what? Guilt? Or more likely, the stress of keeping the secret)... Is that Sharon's white bra clearly visible under the back of her dress.
