Victor calls the club staff - looking for Adam (who's not around). Nick then calls to report that Phyllis has been arrested - he needs a favour. Unable to reach Sharon, Nick's having the nanny bring Faith to the ranch. Back on the patio, Summer watches Lucy and Faith - so Nick can update Vikki (who's there for her brother ~hug~)

In an orange jumpsuit, Paul's told (by Heather) that Phyllis has been arrested for the hit n run. In the hallway, Chris complains that Malloy didn't put Phyllis in handcuffs. It's standard procedure. Do NOT let your personal feelings interfere in this case. Ditto counselor, Malloy growls.

In another interrogation room, Mike lists the evidence against his friend. You're in trouble Phyllis (who remains silent). What can you offer us? Avery wants to know.

On the patio, Billy introduces the LA producer (Miriam) to Vikki and the kids. And as she goes for coffee, Billy's stunned to hear that Phyllis has been arrested for attempted murder.

Mike can look into a plea bargain. The Feds will have to approve any deal. Meaning Chris, Phyllis now rants - Mr DA should know that people change. Lead out, she glares at Chris (who arrives with Malloy). She won't consider any deal that doesn't involve prison time.

Faith asleep, Summer heads upstairs. Victor has no idea where Sharon is (and sends Nick upstairs to be with them - while he calls Noah to update) Everything's fine - Phyllis was arrested. First, he wants to talk to Sharon. What do you mean she isn't there?

In Kansas, Sharon retrieves the spare key - and lets herself into the farmhouse.

In bed (at the bed and breakfast), Adam and Chelsea briefly discuss their wedding tomorrow. She completely understands him wanting to go to the farmhouse - alone. I love you.

Lucy off with the nanny, Vikki gives Billy more details on the 20 year old crime. Of course it'll effect the reality show. Returning to hear about Phyllis, a suddenly chilly Miriam heads back in to make some phone calls.

At the station, Avery tells a concerned Daniel - Phyllis is being booked - it's not good.

With Paul, Chris updates - Phyllis is being booked. Paul's blown away that they didn't suspect her - Ricky and Daisy were determined to bring her down. Phyllis won't get away with leaving us for dead, Chris assures. Paul talks of offering friendship - all these years - she knew what she'd done - lost no sleep - what kind of person does that?

Malloy and Mike agree it's been a helluva week; first Paul - then Phyllis. Malloy understands Chris being unable to forgive - but the Phyllis he knows .... Mike agrees - but she did it. So - here he is - stuck between his best friends. Is there any solution they can all live with?

Back at the ranch, Victor ends his call with Noah. No doubt wondering where Sharon is, he calls her cell. In the farmhouse, Sharon lies - New York is great as usual - she and Noah are chatting (though she hasn't mentioned moving in with him). Talk to you later - bye ~click~ Victor pours himself a drink (and makes one more call). Adam's at a bed and breakfast in Kansas - eloping with Chelsea. OK son - nice talking to you (Victor's even more puzzled).

Phyllis joins Daniel and Avery back in an interrogation room - panicked to hear that Chris is offering a deal; 5 years (which Avery and Daniel think she should accept)

At the bed and breakfast, Chelsea thanks a lady for altering her dress. Yes, the hankie was Hope's. She'd approve of you, the lady praises (which means a lot to Chelsea).

Victor's on the phone again - having Sharon's credit card activity checked. He wants to know exactly where she is.

At the farmhouse, Adam's unhappy to find the door unlocked (and lights on). He takes a seat - hey Mom - I'm back. He's finally found what she wanted for him. What are you doing here? he's stunned to see Sharon (who confesses that she still loves him).

Sharon wants to go back in time - to when they were happy together - when it was 'us' against the world. Reminded that Adam's marrying Chelsea tomorrow, Sharon asks him to call it off. Think of all we've shared - we can have it all back. Say the word and Sharon will leave Victor. Don't marry Chelsea - you still love me.

Online at RS, Billy reads articles from '95 (the police are baffled by the hit and run). Vikki knows the press will dig it all up. How can Billy handle it? This is huge - sensational. Does he publish it? Or give Phyllis a break?

Phyllis can't go to prison .... No time no deal, Chris stands firm. Knowing it won't be resolved tonight, Phyllis is off to a cell. Chris will call Danny - fill him in. After Daniel and Phyllis exit, Chris demands that Mike oppose bail. In the hallway. Phyllis whines about being put in a cell for the night. Daniel and Avery reassure - don't talk. Lead out of his interrogation room, Paul comes face to face with Phyllis.

At RS, Miriam tells Billy that the 'higher ups' concerns about one of RS's key staff members being prosecuted for attempted murder. The show is on hold. No need - Billy's decided to pull Phyllis from the 'mast head' and will put her on the front cover.

Still at the station, Heather and Daniel bond - both their parents behind bars, it's time for that support group (and a drink at Jimmy's).

Mike won't destroy his credibility by opposing bail - the crime was years ago - and Phyllis isn't a flight risk (and isn't dangerous). Malloy steps in to question Chris' objectivity.

When Paul demands a confession from Phyllis, she has nothing to say to him. Yeah, well if anyone deserves a bit in the ass from karma it's HER. It's time we both pay, Paul marches off. Take this deal, Malloy comes out to advise Phyllis (who won't survive prison). This isn't going away!

By this time tomorrow, I'll be Mrs Adam Newman, Chelsea gushes to her hankie. Meanwhile, Adam admits that a part of him will always love Sharon - but he loves Chelsea more. She's his best friend - gets him as no one ever has - NO ONE. Bananas Foster - New Orleans - it was a fantasy world they created - but THIS is 'real'. Adam's marrying Chelsea tomorrow (and with one last look, he leaves Sharon in tears).

Victor gets a call - she flew to Kansas? Nick arrives for an update on Noah - and to rant about Phyllis' lies. Don't ever let a woman make a fool out of you, is Victor's advice.

Next: How was your trip to New York? Sharon's startled when Victor appears at the farmhouse ... Are you telling me that you think you're mother's guilty? a horrified Avery asks Daniel ... Did you just call off the wedding? Chelsea jokes (but Adam looks serious).
