Heather accuses Chris of being more concerned with putting Phyllis in prison - than proving Paul's innocence. Denying it, Chris relays what Tim's neighbour said - firmly believing Phyllis killed him. She had a stronger motive than Ricky.

On the CL's patio, Avery tells Nick that the Judge pulling the video (of him punching Billy) is a small victory (but better than a loss). Nick's off to work - Avery's gonna go strategize with Phyllis.

Has Mike questioned Phyllis about Dr Tim yet!? Chris huffs in disgust when told Malloy's handling it.

At the penthouse, Phyllis argues with Malloy (clearly not afraid of being arrested for slapping him). Someone heard you threaten Dr Reid - so - one more time - did you kill him? Avery's arrival ends the interrogation - what's going on?!

Poolside, Jack's eager to get into the water. Yeah - he's ready to show 'Auggie' (Sarge) what he's got.

At the boutique, Lauren's put some dresses in the change room. Nikki's grateful - the dress Jean Pierre's making might not be ready - it's good to have Plan B. This just came in. Oh - it IS beautiful - just stunning, Nikki admires a dress. Wait - really? That didn't even apply at your FIRST wedding, Sharon arrives to sneer. Such an easy target - it's not even fun for Nikki to put Sharon in her place. And where would that be? Oh yes, Sharon gloats - Victor's bed! I was gonna say the gutter, Nikki makes Lauren chuckle.

Sharon then watches as Chelsea thanks Lauren for sending dresses to Kansas - the wedding WAS perfect. Shown a photo of the chosen dress, Lauren claims it was her favourite too. Yes - we ARE happy, Chelsea's glowing. Both turn - when a nosy Sharon topples over a perfume display.

Adam bumps into Victor at CL's. I'll be damned - you tied the knot. Adam did indeed - the honeymoon will follow business. Victor hopes his son's happy. Adam is - for the first time since Mom died.

Wrapping up Chelsea's purchase, Lauren can take Sharon now. No need - she's changed her mind. Yanking a clutch purse out of Sharon's hand, Lauren snips - lemme know if I can help you with anything. Chelsea turns - to confront Sharon on her trip to Kansas (embarrassing - being blown off like that). Kansas was a huge mistake, Sharon admits. Don't try to come between me and Adam again, Chelsea warns the woman who doesn't seem to learn from her mistakes. Ohhhhh - insecure much? If this ring - and the mansion Adam bought Chelsea don't convince Sharon, maybe the family they'll raise there WILL. Sharon's left with egg on her face.

Adam thanks Victor for his good wishes - and hopes he finds the same happiness. Even if it's with Sharon? Ignoring that statement, Adam tells Victor something he should know (Sharon's trip, and motive). I know son, Victor exits.

THAT was NOT necessary, Mike slams folders down - as Chris ends her call to say Malloy's too personally involved to work Phyllis' case. Same's been said of YOU. Reminding that she was the one run over, Chris claims they must both go through proper channels. Phyllis should be questioned at the station - NOT by Ronan. Thanks for helping with THAT, Mike snarls.

Malloy showed up unexpectedly. With a warrant? Avery snips. He came to give Phyllis a heads up - she's a suspect in another case; Tim Reid. Again asked if she's involved in the disappearance of her former shrink, Phyllis' lawyer tells her not to answer. Knock knock - who's there? Two cops - with orders to bring Ms Newman in for questioning.

Never mind that Malloy was 'just about to bring her in' - the cops are under direct orders (from the commissioner). Wonder who got HIM involved (all know it was Chris). Cuffs not necessary, Phyllis is lead out - Malloy bleating that he had nothing to do with it. Avery knows who's responsible - and won't let her get away with this.

You really think Phyllis' responsible? Heather reminds Chris that she's Nick's wife ... Mother - grandmother, Mike chimes in. The Phyllis Chris knows would do anything to protect what's 'hers'. Paul adds that the hit and run was a crime of passion - if Phyllis killed Tim, it's cold, calculated - Paul still thinks Ricky's behind it (though admits Tim wasn't mentioned in his confession).

Nikki left two dresses in the change room - and will be back with Vikki. She can't wait to be Jack's wife! Poor Paul. Poor Mike - this case is tearing him up - they must find the knife! Lauren's not sure how much more Paul can take. At least he has Nina. And Jack's lucky to have Nikki (who just hopes he's not pushing himself too hard).

At the pool, Jack's frustrated when Sarge calls it quits for the day. I'll kick your ass when I'm outta this chair. They continue to bicker - Jack must trust Sarge. OK - but not a word to Nikki.

Victor's surprised when Nick drops by his office. Summer? She's angry, scared, confused (and at the movies with Noah). Hearing authority's been delegated to Sharon (with Nick focused on Phyllis), Nick's pissed - you serious? Yes - Victor is - the new line (with the packaging Sharon chose) is already in production.

Chelsea's back for the bag she forgot. Wouldn't want Adam's hard earned money to go to waste, Sharon quips (as she examines a green dress). Green's not your colour - Adam's moved on - you should do the same, Chelsea advises. Sharon lights up when Adam joins them. Yeah - she made it back to GC OK - congratulations. See ya, Adam follows Chelsea out.

Beaten home by Adam, Chelsea wastes no time bringing up Sharon (she's a bitch - but it's kinda sad that she's so lonely). She has Victor though. Maybe - Victor already knew Sharon went to Kansas (but Adam no clue what's going on between her and Victor).

Outside Victor's door, Sharon listens to Nick whine about the authority she's been given - is this a gift? Has Victor lost all perspective? No - Victor knows exactly who and what Sharon is; a smart lady who's earned his respect. Avery calls Nick to report Phyllis has been taken in regarding another crime. As Nick hurries out, Sharon sashays into Victor's office.

They should have been here by now, Chris gripes - then leaves Lauren to ask Mike what's going on. She's there to see Paul ~kiss~ Chris races back in - they're here. Phyllis enters loudly. 'Not another word', Avery's given a moment with her client (as Malloy glares at Chris - itt's the Department of Justice, he reminds.

Phyllis merely persuaded Tim to leave town - NO - not a bribe - she gave him cash to take a vacation. A neighbour told the police EVERYTHING, Avery's frustrated - why must Phyllis always ask 'what should we do' AFTER her actions come back to bite her in the ass!?

Everyone files into the interrogation room (Chris there as an 'observer'). You can't walk in here! Mike yelps when Nick bursts in. Fine - take a seat. What happened between you and Tim Reid? Mike shuts Nick up. Phyllis is vague - she's never seen this neighbour - maybe she's lying. Chris is smug - sometimes all the pieces fall into place - Phyllis' ex therapist just so happens to disappear as her secret's about to come out? Coincidence? What does Mike think? How far would Phyllis go to keep the truth hidden? What part of 'observer' does Chris not understand? (but the question lingers).

In another interrogation room, Paul lays out Chris' theory to Lauren. He's not sure what to believe. Instead of being relieved, Paul's .... crying. Lauren's so sorry. Oh what a good man Paul is. A good man who killed his son. Paul's instincts told him Ricky was capable of murder - what if he's wrong? Lauren recalls Paul saving her life - you shot Ricky in the SHOULDER - NOT to kill him.

Back at the pool (now in a suit), Jack vows that Nikki's gonna see a smiling and STANDING groom - he won't set a date until that happens. Nikki joins the boys to say she wants to get married right away. After Sarge leaves, Jack's flabbergasted - Nikki wants to get marred - next week!

Now home, Chelsea's puzzled to find a lipstick she purchased is not in the bag. Meanwhile, in Victor's office, Sharon's - you guessed it - applying lipstick. Thanking Victor for defending her, she agrees to buy him dinner.

We can't get married next week - the dress won't be ready for a month, Jack balks. No problem - Nikki found a dress at Fenmore's - and paperless invitations are better for the environment. Jack wants a perfect wedding - but Nikki just wants the man she loves. Jack can't argue that - OK - he'll marry Nikki next week ~kiss~

Heather now included, Mike and Malloy question Phyllis (who admits she saw Tim once - but didn't threaten him). The bickering continues when Chris' feathers get ruffled - and Phyllis admits she did get rid of Tim (by paying him to go away).

Adam presents Chelsea with a gift bag; a honeymoon. Rare French wine, Italian antipasto, Beluga caviar, Belgium chocolates - then a Swedish massage ~kiss~

At G-worm, Jack toasts his bride to be (who can't wait) ~kiss~ They notice Victor grimacing at them (as Sharon flips her hair and takes a seat; her back to the spectacle).

Bouncing between interrogation rooms, Heather's back to update Paul and Lauren - Phyllis paid Tim to leave town. So Ricky didn't kill him - but they still believe he killed Rachel, Greg and Daisy.

In the other interrogation room, Phyllis explains that she sent Tim away because she didn't trust him to keep his mouth shut (with Ricky writing a book). Chris ain't buyin' it - something doesn't add up.

On the patio, Brett Butler's on the phone - with Tim (in a tropical location he's told that Phyllis was brought in for questioning).

Phyllis wired the money to Dr Reid. Even if she didn't kill him, it's obvious (to Chris) that she was desperate to get rid of him. It proves Phyllis has something to hide (and a jury will see that).

Next: Victor instructs Avery - I want you to keep a very close eye - on both BofN and Jabot ... One company - one CEO - it's gonna be ME Ash, Jack tells his sister.. Nick confronts Phyllis - so I have to wonder, yet again - what else haven't you told me?

My Thoughts: Adam's happy 'for the first time since his Mom died'? Odd - cause, regardless of where things stand now - Adam appeared to be very happy with Sharon (who's love inspired him to be a better man) .... Why on earth would Sharon be surprised that Adam told Chelsea she was at the farmhouse in Kansas - they're MARRIED. And it's ridiculous for Sharon to be calling ANYONE insecure. Go Lauren! Loved the way she yanked the clutch purse out of Sharon's hands... How did she manage to swipe lipstick out of Chelsea's bag? And why don't the bags have a Fenmore's logo on em? ... Kudos to Victor - for managing to be happy for Adam (during their last conversation he'd called the bride a slut and a con artist - who must be gone - before Victor would even consider doing business with Adam again) .... Editing/continuity blooper alert. In the scene she's escorted out by the cops, Phyllis hands are first behind her back - then, in profile, folded in front - then behind her back again (watch for it) ... Hard to believe Malloy's FBI - he's so quick to clarify (to Avery) that he had nothing to do with Phyllis being taken in for questioning - God forbid anyone think he's involved with apprehending a suspected dangerous criminal. How is it that everyone knows about Phyllis and Malloy's brief fling? Does Nick even know? (if not, it appears he's the only one who doesn't). Phyllis must be very good in bed (to invoke such blind loyalty) ... Yeah Jack - not a word to Nikki (unless she happens to overhear you shouting the big secret for the whole neighbourhood to hear) ... Jack hiring a Paris designer to make Nikki's dress was a thoughtful, romantic gesture - it seems a bit rude (and wasteful) that she'd buy one off Fenmore's rack just 'in case' ... Nikki can't believe that anyone would believe that Paul would kill his own son? That fact isn't in dispute - it's whether he had to kill Ricky ... Some friend Nikki is - she hasn't even visited Paul. And it's a good thing (for Lauren) that no one's asked where the gun came from. I guess the DA has a vested interest in not pursuing that angle ... NOW Jack knows his own body? Better late than never I guess ... Nick's not even curious enough to ask which packaging Sharon chose for the new line? .... You can't just walk in here! Mike squawks at Nick. Please - those interrogation rooms may as well have revolving doors like the GCAC. If Heather was taken off the case, why is she allowed free access to both interrogation rooms? Telling Paul everything that's going on? ... ... Give it a rest Avery - yeah, Phyllis is legally entitled to patient/doctor privilege - but Chris is legally entitled to cross a street without fear of being roadkill.
