At CL's, Abby can tell Ashley's pissed at Uncle Jack. Never mind - go back to texting your criminal boyfriend! Ashley stomps out. When Vikki and Billy arrive to quip about the 'kidnapper' too, Abby heads for the patio to make a call - can we do lunch at G-worm?

Back inside, the Abbott's ask how Eden is (and hear she really wants to help Paul - but can't remember what happened with Ricky).

Chris continues to hear Paul doubt himself. She KNOWS he HAD to shoot Ricky - and by golly will prove it - Tim may have info he doesn't even realize he has.

Does Tim have enough to put you away? Nick and Avery grill Phyllis (who's not to panic - Tim can't say anything incriminating). But - they had a relationship. Was the 'incident' mentioned outside of therapy? Phyllis doesn't KNOW - can't remember where or when or what she told Tim.

Mike, Heather and Malloy interrogate Tim; who talks about Ricky sniffing around for dirt on Phyllis (who then paid him to leave town). So - what doesn't Phyllis want anyone to know? Mike asks.

Jack finds Nikki visualizing an outdoor ceremony. Another work out? Nikki fears he's working too hard. Traci's coming to the wedding - Vikki's in - Nick's not confirmed - and Jack's gonna tell Kyle today - face to face - so they can talk things through.

In Victor's office, Kyle's praised for his hard work (and given a coupla days off - for Jack's wedding to Nikki). Huh? That's news to Kyle.

Dr Tim was sent out of town to eliminate him answering questions - he won't reveal Phyllis' secrets and only came back because Malloy threatened to arrest his friend Beth. And when threatened with a subpoena, Tim wants a lawyer.

Avery's off to the station - and will let the Newman's know if she finds out anything. Nick only wishes he could make Phyllis feel better (which he just has). It's not a good time, Nick says when his Mom calls (but is told to go - Phyllis will be fine).

Kyle recovers - doesn't matter - he's 'cool' with Jack marrying Nikki. No - he doesn't need to take this call - it's just Dad. Poolside, Jack sighs when his call goes unanswered.

Abby thanks Kay for meeting her at G-worm (and is amused to hear that Kay was racy - aw hell, she's still a rebel). Abby apologizes for (and explains) the gala 'stunt'. Forgiven, she feels guilty for donors pulling out. Maybe this will help. Kay's impressed by the size of the check - twice the money pledged. And as Kay plans a big announcement, Abby would rather it be anonymous - doesn't wanna make a fuss. This is one secret that won't burn her.

While a shaky Phyllis pours and gulps wine, Avery's updated by Chris; Tim asked for a lawyer.

Rafe takes a seat beside his client (who knows him from the newspaper). Not talking, Tim can still invoke 'privilege' (as per Rafe). Pillow talk and in-session discussions are totally separate; Mike will challenge 'privilege'.

Nick joins his Mom and the Abbott's - what's the big news? All are surprised to hear Nikki's marrying Jack this week. Vikki's delighted to be Matron of Honour - Nick will walk Jack down the aisle. Jack's gonna talk to Billy AFTER he talks to Kyle (a rough conversation if you ask Billy).

Well I'll be damned - send him in ~click~ Hello Jack, Victor greets his adversary warmly (in front of Kyle).

Your son's doing a great job here, Victor boasts. Eyeballing Victor, Jack apologize for Kyle not hearing about the wedding from him. Stepping into the hallway for privacy, Kyle shrugs it off - but won't be attending.

Just family and close friends - a private ceremony by the Abbott pool. Yes - Victor knows, Nikki tells the kids.

Nick's vanished - but the Abbott's will help Nikki in any way they can (as she helped with their wedding).

Nick updates Phyllis on the wedding - both agreeing that the wedding will be good for Jack and Nikki. The 'second time around' IS working for Nick (who knows Phyllis is scared about what's happening at the station). Extremely, she admits ~hug~

Tim and Rafe conferring aside, Mike won't let him protect Phyllis (it'd be better if she came clean, he tells Avery). Yeah - better for YOU. And as Chris hovers, Heather asks Tim to stick around - it's personal - as Ricky's sister, she wonders if he can speak to her Dad.

Kay's summoned Ashley to the Abbott backyard - she better sit down for this. What's Abby done NOW? Ashley frets.

Chris and Heather thank and praise Dr Reid - then file into the interrogation room. Thanks for doing this, Paul shakes his hand (then is told that Tim and Ricky had a common enemy; they'd both been screwed over by Phyllis). He was obsessed with revenge. Violent? Under the right circumstances, anyone is capable of anything. But why would Ricky lie about being a murderer? Revenge - against me, Paul suggests.

Returning to the penthouse, Avery updates - Tim isn't talking - but Mike won't give up - he's challenging privilege. No worries; Avery will discredit him on the stand.

Hold the door - Jack gets on the elevator Victor courteously stalls to let him on. It DID cross his mind to let it close in his face. And as luck would have it, the elevator soon comes to a grinding halt.

Nikki summons Kay to CL's - to give the delightful news that the wedding's been moved up - to boost Jack's spirits - and show him that Nikki's committed to him no matter what.

At a nearby table, Billy tries to figure it out; his mother in law will soon be his sister in law? Vikki joins in - her brother in law will be her stepfather. Both are happy for Jack and Nikki (who's made a better match than Victor has).

Kyle arrives at CL's - exhausted from walking down NE's stairs. Nikki and Kay (and the Abbott's) are alarmed to hear him tell Eden that the elevator's out. Victor and Jack are stuck together. As everyone files out to check on them, Nikki pauses to ask if Kyle's spoken to Jack. I don't wanna keep you, he dismisses Nikki and rolls his eyes.

Jack scolds Victor for his 'low blow' - telling Kyle about the wedding. Victor must hate that he's on top in his personal and professional life (and may be walking again soon). Victor sneers down at Jack - he's got a better woman than he deserves. Enjoy it. While it lasts? Did I say that? Victor adds.

Poolside, Ashley tells Abby that she's proud of her. Yes - Kay blabbed (but won't tell anyone else). No - it doesn't make up for all Abby put her Mom through - but it's a start.

Back at CL's, Kyle whines to Eden. Everyone hated my Mom - but she was the best. His Dad's marrying the woman who killed her - practically on the anniversary of her death, Kyle feels Jack's ruining his life.

Thank God the power's back on! Nikki, Kay and Billy are relieved when Jack and Victor exit the elevator. Jack's smiling. Hello, Victor says as he walks past the stunned trio.

Ricky was smart - able to get away with so much - but Heather and Chris credit Paul with seeing through his charade (though a glum Paul feels he was shooting at a monster that didn't exist - and that's why he's decided to plead guilty and accept the consequences).

In the outer station, Malloy and Mike agree that Tim's the keeper of Phyllis' dark secrets (which Mike's sure he can threaten out of the shrink). The Judge will be the easy part - watching Tim's testimony destroy Phyllis will be the hard part.

Assuring that she'll handle Tim, Avery leaves Phyllis to answer a call from him (who didn't tell them anything - yet). Nick a few feet away, Phyllis plays like it's a book she ordered - and will meet him at Trimble's tomorrow morning to pick it up. As she hangs up, Nick's oblivious to his wife's guilt.

Next: We're supposed to be partners here - or have you forgotten that!? Kevin raises his voice at Adam ... Poolside, Traci gets Ashley thinking - when the wedding's over, why don't you come home with me?? ... Jack and Nikki smile at one another; I can't wait to marry you tomorrow. I can't wait to marry YOU.

My Thoughts: Is Kyle a 2 pack a day smoker? He really shouldn't still be winded from descending stairs at NE ... I guess Rafe would know about crossing lines during 'pillow talk' (he sure did so with HIS client; Adam) ... Paul was 'constantly misjudging Ricky'? Has he forgotten that he confessed to three murders? ... Chris is so sure of herself - making it sound like she was in the room when Paul shot Ricky (like she's trying to convince HIM of what happened). Of COURSE Chris will have another chance to question Tim (if he follows in Paul's footsteps, he'll be held in an interrogation room indefinitely) ... When did Mike tint his hair red - and why? He sure doesn't garner much respect as the DA (it was Rafe's turn to blow him off today). Mike won't let Tim 'protect' Phyllis? Isn't that what he (and Ronan) have been doing? ... Tim remembered Phyllis phone number? Or did she give it to him recently? ... The words Abby and anonymous just don't belong in the same sentence - she doesn't wanna 'cause a fuss'? I guess we're all supposed to overlook her recent shenanigans? It's just money, she says (easy to say when you've got 50 million). Kay DID only promise to keep Abby's secret from 'the press' ... You're worried about your father, Dr Reid wisely concludes - so perceptive - so astute ... TIM has an 'unsavory past'? Avery says this to PHYLLIS? Can't HER unsavory past be used to discredit HER? ... Of course the elevator Jack and Victor are on is faulty - aren't they always? Was it really necessary for the whole tribe to run over to NE - to make sure Victor and Jack made it off the elevator unscathed. And does Billy really think Victor would assault a wheelchair confined Jack? Oh wait - he HAS assaulted a woman (Diane) so I wouldn't rule it out .. Criminal boyfriend? Ashley makes it sound like she's a stranger to crime (or has never been involved with anyone who's broken the law). Billy too - he has no room to comment on Carmine being a 'kidnapper' (since his crimes include buying a baby on the black market) .. Dead end job? What's wrong with being a security guard Dr Tim? ... The 'incident'? Why can't Avery call it what it was - attempted murder? It was SO long ago - but Phyllis told Dr Reid that she had some guilt over Chris and Paul? There's been NO guilt - then OR now ...Phyllis continues to lie - and make a fool out of the gullible Nick in the process. How many forced revelations will he overlook? He's given Phyllis ample opportunity to fess up. When Phyllis admits they had a 'relationship', does Nick's sigh mean he knows she slept with her shrink? He sounds like an even bigger fool when explaining what patient/doctor privilege means. Somewhere there's a village missing it's idiot.
