On the CL's patio, a tired Cane thanks Lily for the PR person recommendation. She wants to discuss Genevieve (who's at Trumble's - on the phone with Gerard; the guy she met in Paris). C'est la vie - he has no job for her either.

The Fisher's are at the Newman's - arguing about who's to blame for their competitor's success. Could it be the early launch Kevin pushed Adam into? Chloe and Chelsea referee - needing to focus on saving Tag n Grab from internet oblivion.

Meanwhile, inside CL's, the Baldwin's discuss Mike having to prosecute two of their BFF's (for murder and attempted murder). He prevented Paul from pleading guilty - but worries deposing Tim will incriminate Phyllis.

At the penthouse, Nick grumbles to Phyllis - Sharon's been blowing off work - Nikki took off on Jack - and Phyllis paid Tim off (taking money from Summer's trust fund instead of confiding in her husband). What can she do? Stop flying solo - find ways to help yourself.

At home, Billy and Vikki butt heads over Nikki leaving Jack (to find Victor). Ratings for the show not great, Billy needs to come through on his promise (and expects his sources to get him dirt on Phyllis by the end of the day).

The Ashby's debate who (other than Genevieve) could be using childhood nicknames to harass their family. Badgered into calling Genevieve, Cane thinks avoiding one another is silly - let's have coffee.

Kevin declares the competitor's app and site hard to navigate. They're gonna revamp - but he can program faster. Adam wants to talk strategy.

Meet me right away - it's urgent, a nervous Phyllis is on the phone.

Back at CL's, Mike explains (to Lauren) why he thinks Tim has dirt on Phyllis. Sure she'll get herself in more trouble, he'd do anything to get inside Phyllis' head. On cue, Nick arrives.

The Tag n Grab team is in action. Chloe will promote it on RS (using her celebrity contacts). Ours is free - the competitor's has paid subscription, Chelsea reminds. Adam will pursue high end retailers - while Kevin will ensure the site is easy to navigate.

Agreeing things are 'awkward', the Baldwin's ask how Phyllis is holding up. She's not relying on her family, Nick confides she's taken matters into her own hands. Mike was afraid of that - and wonders if there's more to Phyllis firing Avery.

While Tim orders food and G-worm's finest champagne, Phyllis thanks Leslie for coming by (for some ass kissing) Will you take my case?

Getting a call from his source, Billy updates Vikki - Tim's about to be deposed by the DA. Mike thinks he knows something - so Billy will hire a PI - and find Tim first.

Lily may be glad Genevieve joined them (at CL's) - but she doubts Ethan feels the same way (and is offended he thinks she'd use her daughter's memory against him; by sending the 'gifts' - trashing her own room). Apologizing, Cane thinks the G-worm matchbook a clue. Hearing Claude Shurl made a reservation at G-worm, Genevieve worries what he has planned next.

The Fisher's gone, Chelsea sashays over to perch in Adam's lap - put work on pause.

The Fisher's are still all business as they've joined the Baldwin's - who just might have a solution to one of their problems.

Phyllis is reassured that Leslie thinks there's holes in the prosecution's case. But why isn't Avery representing her? She's amazing - but sister's can't work together. Phyllis is relieved when Leslie agrees to take her case.

His PI on the case, Billy leaves when Nick arrives. Billy's not changing his mind (on pursuing the hit and run), Vikki disappoints her brother.

Shutting Adam's phone off, Chelsea informs she got one of those kits - the best time to get pregnant is now. No - Adam doesn't want his phone back (they race upstairs).

Now's not a good time, Phyllis gets a visit from Kevin (who barges in to announce he has a proposition).

Nick doesn't like what Billy's trying to do to his wife - but didn't come to pick a fight. They then discuss Nikki searching for Victor - and a humiliated Sharon's denying knowledge of any prenup (and won't hesitate in humiliating the family and company). Word's gonna get out soon - which'll mean bad press for NE. Nick again asks Vikki to please come back to work.

The Ashby's delight Genevieve with photos of the twin's antics - and things are going well for Cane at Jabot. Announcing that Ashley left the company, Cane gets a call from G-worm - Claude Shurl made a reservation. Let's go! All three exit the patio in a hurry.

Nick works hard to convince Vikki - she'll be a stabilizing force - they must unite for the company. But Vikki can't assume Dad will be gone for long - and won't turn her life upside down because he's taking a quick break.

You know about style - what catches the eye, Kevin adds that Phyllis' fans will follow her Tag n Grab account. Fans? Phyllis admits it's a fun idea. She's flattered - but can't do this. Kevin thinks it could soften her 'vile' reputation - post pictures of puppies and unicorns. Think about it.

The Ashby's and Genevieve hover on G-worm's stairs. Who the hell are you? Cane follows the man who announces himself as Claude Shurl.

As Genevieve accuses Claude of harassing her family, Lily suggests they do this someplace else. Claude's not my real name. I'm Clayton Hamilton; actor - perhaps you've heard of me? Through the local theater, he was paid $50 to make the reservation and have lunch. He leaves the trio frustrated (at being played).

We interrupting something? the Fisher's return to update Adam about hiring Phyllis. He approves - she's trouble (but manageable).

At least Phyllis didn't give Kevin a firm 'no' (Kevin apparently updated the Baldwin's when picking up Chloe). They pat themselves on the back for their good deed - and now it's home for a quickie.

Sharon! Open up! Vikki pounds on the ranch's front door. Meanwhile, Nick's back at the penthouse. Phyllis isn't surprised at getting no help from Billy or Vikki (but is in a good mood - because of Leslie - and Kevin's job offer). Take it, Nick advises ~kiss~

With a camera man in tow, Billy accosts Tim with questions about Phyllis. Stammering, Tim rushes out of Trumble's (but it's enough to put a smile on Billy's face).

Next: Did you burn the prenup you signed right before the wedding? Vikki confronts Sharon ... So he WAS an actor, Lily confirms. Someone's messing with us - and I'm gonna find out who it is, Cane vows ... I might have a project for you after all, Tucker says. That's terrific, Genevieve lights up.

My Thoughts: It's been a crazy day, Adam says. Huh? It's only lunch time ... Why is Paul being charged with murder? Chris wasn't able to plea it down to manslaughter? Had Paul wanted to kill Ricky, he wouldn't have shot him in the arm (it was the unplanned fall that killed him, not the bullet) .... Sharon's been blowing off more than work - she's been blowing Newmans for years ... Lauren trusts Mike's instincts? His spidey senses didn't kick in when she was carrying a gun around for days ... Mike thought he'd have to prosecute 'acquaintances of acquaintances'? He can't be THAT surprised at having to prosecute their 'best friends' (and only friends) - everyone they know has been behind bars at some point. Mike couldn't get through 'this' without Lauren and Fen? There'd have BEEN no 'this' if Lauren hadn't bought a gun (then let Paul take it) - and Fen's not been seen or mentioned in weeks. He could age another 10 years by the time he returns from his friend's ... Trumble's owner must be elated - someone finally bought something (Tim actually purchased TWO books) ... Note how Lily turns her head away from Cane's kiss - perhaps it's the two cups of coffee ... And why is she recommending PR people she's never met in person? Why haven't either thought of Genevieve? (Jabot's previous PR person) ... Too bad Phyllis isn't paid by the word; 'sorry' (she'd have enough to pay Summer back) .... Nick doesn't like what Billy's trying to do to his wife? I don't think Chris and Paul like what Nick's wife tried to do to THEM ... Vikki'd be turning her life 'upside down' by returning to NE? Nick and Sharon seem to have plenty of downtime ... How could Kevin possibly know that the competing website is going to 'revamp'? Who'd PAY a subscription fee for a shopping site anyway? Especially one that's hard to navigate? Does Kevin really think that associating Tag n Grab with a 'vile' suspected criminal would be 'great for the site'? ... Perhaps you've heard of me - Is Clayton Hamilton (local theater actor) for real? Guess he doesn't recognize famed model Lily Winters.
