Nervous at the penthouse, Phyllis calls Malloy; answer, answer, answer. Her mantra (and call) ignored, Malloy's in the alley - let's forget about this rug, he tells the cop. Heather arrives all giddy (about possible evidence in the Tim Reid case).

Encyclopedia's? Kevin plays dumb (Chloe really is) Don't mess with me, Mike then asks a straightforward question - where was Kevin 4 nights ago?

On the patio, Lily chats with Daniel - about their kids. So cute that Daniel's lovin' being a Dad. Awkward giggling - clearly they both have things to discuss.

At G-worm, Jack's impressed with Cane's expertise and commitment. How would he like to head up marketing for BofN? Jack needs help crushing the launch of NE's new cosmetics line.

At the ranch, Sharon whines to Tucker (Abby's calling her names on TV). Nobody pays attention to the Brainless Heiress, Tucker reassures - she can't hurt you (unless she's behind the wheel of a car). She's gonna wish she never tried, Sharon grins.

Oh look - the Newman ranch has a security hut at the entrance (manned by a new guard who won't let Abby on the property). Where's Bobby? Fired - by the same person who put Abby on the no access list; Mrs Newman.

She can't do that - this is my family's home! Carmine's support getting Abby nowhere, she'll just get her horses. Percales and Starfire? They've been sent to the glue factory. Restrained by Carmine, Abby spits about ripping the bleached hair from Sharon's head (then killing her).

Inside, Sharon's on the phone - she'll tell Abby how much her generous donation's appreciated ~click~ Tucker approves of Sharon letting everyone know she's in charge - and has set up a profile interview (with the Chronicle) at G-worm. Yes - you can do this - let's go.

On the patio, Lily's going crazy with 'family stuff'. Mommy Dearest causing problems? Cane's having a hard time letting Genevieve in (but should). Phyllis then barges in to take Daniel aside - seen Ronan? Detecting disapproval, Phyllis darts out - forget it.

Ignoring Heather's 'contaminating evidence' warning, an ungloved Malloy touches the red stained rug - sniffs - it's wine. After Malloy helps the cop put the rug back in the dumpster, Heather's still convinced something's amiss - let's get to the station and figure out what it is.

Chloe tells Mike that Kevin didn't get home til late because his car broke down. Who towed the car? Mike asks. A guy fixed it in 2 seconds - no charge. Not buyin' it, Mike wants Kevin at the station - not for arrest - but to meet someone.

Sharon knew what those horses meant to me - she's messing with me - there's no glue factories! On cue, Sharon stops in her car (with Tucker). She cheerily announces donating the horses Abby hardly rode (to a farm for disabled children). She thought Abby'd be happy - not upset. It's for the kids, Sharon hits the accelerator (leaving Abby to shriek 'liar' at the nasty old hag - and McCreep).

Shaking Jack's hand, Cane will now head up both departments - and head off NE on two fronts. How about buying some NE stock? Kinda risky, Jack thinks Sharon might run it into the ground. As for Genevieve, Jack's left what happened in the past (Cane wishing he could to the same).

The hit n run charges must be hard on all of you - but yes, Lily knows Phyllis can 'self absorb'. But behind the Phyllisness - she wants Daniel to be happy (with anyone other than Daisy). The ADA prosecuting her isn't acceptable. Heather!? Really? It's messed up - but Daniel really likes her. Be with her then, Lily advises - just don't tell your Mom.

Finding Malloy shooting hoops, Heather tells him to get back to his day job. He's on his first break in 10 days. Take a shot, he challenges Heather to put things in perspective. Making her shot, Heather will be in her office - doing her job - when he 'decides' to check in.

In Mike's office, Kevin's about to tell Chloe the truth when Mike brings Beth in. That's him - the guy who was selling encyclopedias! she blurts out.

Yeah, Beth's sure (that Kevin was selling drugs - and Tim was onto him) You killed my Timbo! A cop's summoned to lead Beth out. Start talking, Mike demands - then fills Chloe in. If Kevin's moved a corpse recently, now's the time to come clean.

Joining Daniel on the patio, Heather gets his text - but 'going someplace' isn't a good idea. There's a lot going on with his Mom's case - possibly more charges.

Still shooting hoops, Malloy's now joined by Phyllis. The rug? You're a suspect - we can't do 'this'. Not seeing anything wrong with a little 'one on one', Phyllis thought he liked danger. Malloy takes the challenge - if Phyllis sinks her shot, he'll talk to her.

Shot missed, Malloy DOES like seeing Phyllis sweat - but not like this. Why you doing this to me? she wonders. Malloy really liked her rug - too bad she ruined it with wine. Yes - she did the right thing by throwing it out. Phyllis appreciates the reassurance. Get outta here, Malloy tries to sound gruff - but neither break eye contact as Phyllis exits.

Back on the patio, Heather can't talk about the extra charges. Daniel's sure they could find other things to talk about. Running through topics, the only things they have in common are art - and sex.

Still at G-worm, Jack's on the phone - apparently there's a big buyer of NE stock. Hanging up, Jack greets Sharon (as Tucker goes to find the reporter). Be careful - with the press and Tucker, he warns.

Please tell Mike the truth, Chloe encourages (causing Kevin to hiss about his brother AND wife thinking he's lying). Go! But don't say I didn't give you a chance. <sarcasm> What WOULD Kevin do without Mike on his side? </sarcasm> Guess you're about to find out, Mike snaps.

Joined by Abby, Jack's alarmed to hear she's changed her mind (on signing his contract). Bumping into Tucker in her haste to escape, Abby gives him the stink eye. Taking a seat, Tucker's asked what's going on with him and Sharon? He's merely a concerned board member - who wants NE to do well in Victor's absence. The interview? Sharon needs someone in her corner. Like Ashley did? Jack's left to call Cane back - there's been a change of plans.

At another table, Sharon tells the reporter how she worked her way up from spokesmodel (her success is not because of Nick). SHE'S the one who secured the Asian market. Yes - but Nick arranged the meeting. You make it sound like NE cosmetics exists because of you, the reporter muses. Sharon's played a major role. But does it qualify her to run the multi billion dollar corporation? Sharon goes back to her success in Japan; ergo, she's perfectly qualified to run the company.

Back at CL's, Cane announces his new position to Lily (who claims to be excited - but is still worried about whomever's messing with them). And after Cane leaves, she doesn't look 'fine' - when the lady she bumps into drops a keychain with a koala bear on it (snatches it from Lily's hand and without a word hurries out).

Heather can't go to a museum in Chicago - she has work. But how about the privacy of her place? Do posters count as art? See you in 10 minutes. 5. Heather leaves first - Daniel running out a close second.

On the court, Mike updates Malloy (on Beth IDing Kevin). Don't believe her, Malloy tries to sway Mike - maybe Beth did it. There's no evidence to implicate Phyllis OR Kevin. Yeah but, Mike wants to do what's right. Yeah but you're the DA - YOU decide what that is.

On the patio, Kevin's about to fess up to Chloe. This might be the craziest thing that's happened in his life (including robbing banks dressed as a chipmunk). But when Phyllis calls - to update that Malloy's on their side - and to keep his mouth shut, Kevin now claims it was all a misunderstanding - and wants to discuss the project. If Grab n Tag's media director and programmer are involved in a murder investigation, Chloe barks that they HAVE no project - or a future!

As Carmine joins Abby at G-worm, she's on the phone - buy up all available NE stock. My goal? (Abby turns to glare at Sharon and Tucker) To take down the stepmother from hell and the weasel backing her. To hit them so fast and hard they don't see it coming.

Sharon and Tucker wrap up the interview and leave. At a nearby table, Jack instructs Cane - to find out how much NE stock Tucker's acquired (and whether he's violated SEC regulations). Jack would bet his wheelchair that Tucker's trying to gain control of NE (and using Sharon to do it).

About to leave, Lily looks nervous - when she finds a business card on CL's floor; Claude Shirl.

Next: I WILL be the one to find Victor Newman, Genevieve assures Tucker .... They've hired someone to look like my sister - who shoves a ghost in someone's face? Cane's with Lily ..... This friend of Ricky's we're meeting today? If this is a dead end - they might as well convict me right now, Paul tells Avery (at Jimmy's).

My Thoughts: Jack would rather leave his issues with Genevieve in the past? Yeah - cause he never holds a grudge *cough* Victor .... Oh dear - with spoilers of a fall murder all over the Internet, will anything come of Abby's threat to kill Sharon? She does have a wiseguy boyfriend (and her birthday's probably coming up soon. Nothing says 'I love you' like havin' your rival whacked)... I can take care of myself, Sharon says (since when? and why does she need Tucker then?). You really think I can do this? Sharon doesn't have too much confidence in her ability to conduct an interview - and if she's 'perfectly qualified' to run NE, why does she need Tucker to 'prep' her on the way. And if it's a 'profile' interview, why not have Sharon sit behind her new desk - in her new CEO office? (instead of in the middle of the busiest restaurant in town)? Too bad Abby didn't get there in time to make a spectacle of herself. I'm sure the reporter would be quite interested to hear her story. Oh well - there's always next week's RSTV episode ... But really - how much DOES Abby care for her horses? When was the last time she rode either of em? .... But if Abby wants to hit Sharon hard and fast, why not make a call to the police? Those horses must have been registered in her name - it's theft (and not the first time Sharon's stolen something that doesn't belong to her). Stealing a million dollar horse is obviously a crime (and easily proven) .... About time the guards were given a list of persons restricted from accessing the ranch. You'd think there'd already BE a list (and that Jack, Nikki etc. were already on it) ... Too bad the charity which received a couple of million dollar horses didn't make any effort to thank Abby personally. But I'm not sure putting disabled children on thoroughbred race horses is a good idea. They're used to galloping at high speed - not going in circles tethered to a slow moving roundabout. Does Sharon really think Abby's gonna let this go? (she better not, animal lover that she claims to be). Ironic that she'd say Sharon's hair is bleached - I guess hers is natural? ... If Malloy's convinced Beth moved Tim's body, why isn't he prosecuting her? He's now as crooked as the dirty cops he and Chance put away. Question is; however will Phyllis reward Malloy's loyalty? ... Is Kevin really saying that anyone who buys encyclopedias are morons? Actually, I believe there's only one volume available now; a book of the year ... Wasn't Heather taken off the case? Why is she bossing an FBI agent around? ... Why is Heather putting on gloves - and panicking about Malloy 'contaminating evidence'? The rug just came out of a DUMPSTER! Was she gonna put it into a ziplock baggie for evidence?
