Why ever would Ronan almost arrest Summer? Putting more than sweetener in her coffee? Why you get in here young lady. Unapologetic, Summer bets Mom can't wait to show Ronan how grateful she is. Ordered upstairs, Summer storms off - to Dad's! No! I'm NOT OK, Phyllis is left to wail at Ronan. My daughter hates me for something I didn't do - and what the hell did you say to my husband!?

Bumping into Nick at the club, Nikki easily puts it all together. HE wants to pound Ronan - Ronan wants to pound something - and Nick's staying at the tackhouse. Sharon could be at the ranch soon - but hopefully the doctor's agree she's in no shape to run NE (leaving Vikki in charge).

At the office, Vikki's on the phone with a reporter - assuring that it's business as usual at NE - safeguards are in place - Sharon at the helm poses an unacceptable risk.

While Vikki's on the phone, Billy texts Genevieve - How's our friend? I've got my eye on him, Genevieve replies. Tattletale's toe to toe with Victor - people who cause trouble get hurt around here.

Hanging up, Vikki's thrilled that her quote will appear in tomorrow's edition. Yes, Billy thinks Victor will come home ~hug~

Celeste explains to Victor that the workers on this pier have no other options. The boss knows that, Genevieve chimes in. Victor gets that - but the work's unsafe. He knows all about government regulations - but isn't sure HOW he knows that.

A child and company to get back to, Sharon's eager to be released. Dr Lawrence isn't prepared to make that call yet - protocols must be followed. He'll let Sharon know when he's made his decision. Daisy bursts in - demanding Sharon tell the truth. Sharon now thinks she recognizes Daisy Carter. Unimpressed, Dr L will speak to them both later. That leaves Daisy to widen Sharon's eyes - she's being fed meds and not allowed to leave.

Getting a surprise visit, Daniel's impressed by Heather's baby voice (while Lucy looks at her like - 'talk normal bitch')

Lucy (now off with the sitter) likes you - that makes two of us, Daniel tells Heather - who's about to drop the bomb when Summer shows up in tears to do it for her - Mom's cheating on my Dad - with Ronan! No need for Heather to leave, Summer's off to see poor Dad - oh how could Mom do this to him?

Back at the penthouse, Phyllis wonders why Ronan would let Nick think he's in love with her. What they had was just 'lust'. His silence speaking volumes, Phyllis gets it - but loves Nick (and now believes there's strings attached to Ronan's help).

Seated with Nick, Nikki relays waking up in a cold sweat at 3am - something's about to happen to Victor. Nick's sure that Dad's fine (and will be home when he's ready). Nikki can only hope so.

You've given us all a lot to think about, worker one leaves Celeste to warn Christian that filing a complaint will cost him his job. Things are wrong - and Christian's gonna make em right. As a worried Genevieve hovers, Tattletale sends a quick text.

Billy's back to pick Vikki up for lunch. Yes, he changed clothes (a run in with Phyllis left his shirt wet). When Nick arrives, Billy's sent on ahead. But Nick's not comfortable confiding with Vikki (in case it winds up on the RS website). Promising not to blab, Vikki's told that Nick's wife doesn't trust him - won't accept that he's on her side. How many times can a guy get kicked in the teeth before he's had enough.

Ronan doesn't much appreciate being put into the same category as Tim Reid - he's better than that - and sure doesn't need to blackmail women for sex. Phyllis is sorry - and out of line. She needs to call Nick (about Summer) - but wants Ronan to stick around.

Vikki knows all about loving someone with flaws - but everyone has limits (on forgiveness). Phyllis calls Nick to update on Summer's drinking - and how they both owe Ronan. Bye ~click~ Nick says thank you, Phyllis lies - then apologizes for freaking out (on the only friend she has) Letting himself in, Daniel finds them hugging.

Needing to speak with Sharon, Dr L rudely dismisses the complaining Daisy. No - Sharon shouldn't start packing yet - he has questions - about her husband.

Tattletale helps a bloodied Victor into a seat at the bar. What happened!? Celeste, Genevieve - and the workers are all very concerned.

Who did this? Turns out worker one found Christian - Tattletale helped get him back here. Least I could do, Tattletale's humble. Genevieve and Celeste tend to a moaning Christian - who refuses to go to the hospital. I don't know my name - they'll call the cops - maybe that's who he's running from. Genevieve believes he's a good man - not running from the law. It'll be alright. Nurse Gen will do what she can. Behind the bar, supposedly for ice, she Googles - how to splint a hand.

Nick (Vikki with her arms folded at his side), shouts at Summer - it's a VERY big deal. Vikki thought she knew better. Nick tells the story of Cassie being killed - because of alcohol. Mom's the reason. Nick won't accept lame excuses.

Don't let me interrupt, Daniel makes his presence known. And after Ronan quickly exits, concludes it's true - Phyllis and Ronan are sleeping together. Summer told him - know how upset she is? Phyllis wishes she could explain. Daniel accuses her of being in self destruct mode - and taking the whole family down with her.

Victor stood by me when no one else would, Sharon downplays him leaving after their wedding - he does this from time to time. She understands that - he entrusted me with NE and to be a good wife, Sharon must get back to running the company. Admittedly, she has issues - but hasn't done anything worthy of being locked away from the world. We'll talk soon, Dr L leaves her nervous.

Billy, Vikki and Nikki are seated at the club - moaning about what a trying time this is for the family. Billy looks guilty - when Vikki credits him with being her rock. What would she do without him?

Dr L scolds Daisy for hounding him while he's with another patient. How would YOU feel if no one believed YOU? Daisy's unapologetic. She lied to save her life. The fingerprint check could take two weeks - Dr L will let her know when he hears something.

Why does Phyllis continue to make these mistakes? She's thinking of her family when crawling into bed with Ronan? Daniel scoffs. Nick enters with an unhappy Summer. Updated, Daniel's disapproval gets a 'whatever'. 'Nice', he exits shaking his head. Nick confiscates Summer's phone - and sends her up for her other gadgets - what Mom's done has NO bearing on what YOU'VE done. Phyllis may be grateful (that they're handling this together) - but Nick sees nothing to be grateful for.

Celeste and Genevieve tend to Victor's injured hand. You're very nice - thank you, he manages to tell Genevieve (as she cradles his hand in ice).

Nick and Phyllis argue about Summer - who Phyllis is 'protecting' (which Nick ain't buyin'). You let fear dictate you're entire life, Nick accuses (and is accused of ALWAYS being disappointed in Phyllis - who has to fix things on her own). Nick's off to work - clearly now isn't the time to tell Summer he's moving out. He'll be back later to talk to her.

Daisy joins Sharon (who worries what Dr L thinks - but will be out tomorrow regardless). Daisy knows Sharon doesn't like her - but can she tell Daniel she's there - for Lucy - please? Fine - Sharon will - when she sees him. Call my husband - tell him I'm still alive, Daisy insists. Having a stressful day, Sharon asks for some privacy.

In the hallway, Daisy overhears a nurse telling Dr L that a patient's missing (who was supposed to go to Memorial). A lighbulb goes off over Daisy's head.

Back at his place, Daniel grumbles to Heather about Summer. Massaging his shoulders, Heather's rewarded with a kiss.

Taking pills from beneath her mattress, Daisy pops a handful; GCM here I come.

Heather and Daniel's kiss soon leads to naked bed-play.

The nurse gives Dr L 'Scarlet's' fingerprint report. You need to see this!

Naked beneath the sheets - a satisfied Heather thinks Daniel's pretty good at that (making her forget her troubles). Daniel feels so sane right now. Together we can handle anything ~kiss~

At CL's, Ronan gets a call - Daisy Carter? She's where? Are you sure!?

Phyllis continues to scold Summer (who's not Cassie OR Daniel). Alcohol only makes things worse. Your Dad and I love you - you come first. Dad's not happy with the things Phyllis has done - and may need some time away. If Dad moves out, Summer will NEVER forgive her Mom.

Nick's back at work - telling Vikki that Summer's grounded til she's 30. No need for Vikki to shoulder more of the work - he's cool - really. Sharon saunters in - I'm back.

Nikki corners Billy at the bar - she's never approved of his methods with the magazine (but needs his help). Use your connections and resources to find Victor.

Ambling over to the bar, Victor orders Tequila. Tattletale doesn't think it's safe for Christian around here. Agreeing, Genevieve doesn't want him to get hurt anymore. Celeste suggests he move on - before something worse happens. She'll buy him a bus ticket - go to another mission. Christian has a job to do - and won't be intimidated.

Next: Victor isn't safe here - I think it's time to bring him home, Genevieve tells Tucker by phone ... Beside a confident Sharon, Avery announces (to Nick and Vikki) that the Judge is ready to issue his ruling ... Nikki takes a seat with Jack at the club - I think we should talk about the divorce.

My Thoughts: How hypocritical of Ronan - to not only ignore Phyllis' crimes - but help cover them up - yet he threatens to arrest Summer? Great police work detective .... Phyllis is such a protective mother - makes me feel like I'm somehow neglecting my kids ... Of course underage drinking is a bad thing - but Nick makes is sound like no other kid has ever attempted it ... Beaten to a pulp and Victor's brought back to the dingy bar? If not the hospital, he should at least be taken to the mission (to wash his face for starters) ... How the hell does Daniel know that Lucy likes Heather? She must be sending him messages telepathically ... Why WOULD Ronan think he and Phyllis shared some deep love - they had nothing more than steamy sex ... Couldn't Nikki afford to BUY the best connections and resources? She's another Newman who won't be too happy to hear Billy's known all along .. Not sure which is funnier - Daisy calling Ricky a psychopath - or Heather saying Daniel has good 'fashion sense'.
