This week in Genoa City; a brief but comprehensive recap of what occurred in our favourite faux metropolis.

Jack's large and in charge at Jabot. Sparks fly when he fills a vacant position with Genevieve; while Kay fills it with Jill (who's then filled by Collin; on Genevieve's shiny new desk!). Not to worry - once Kay sells him controlling interest, Jack's new love interest will have the office and title all to herself. Jill's OUT!

Armed with an old photo - and following a trail of groupies, Paul discovers that Devon Hamilton is Tucker's long lost son! Coincidentally, Tucker's just fired Devon (who wasn't able to find a 'star' within 24 hours of Noah quitting to go write jingles for Jack). Getting the cold shoulder from Tucker, Kay keeps the secret - and deciding that CI really needs a 'recording label under it's umbrella', stuns Devon by asking him to run it.

The Winters brothers engage in open warfare on the basketball court - then fierce glares at the hospital. All are disappointed when Dr Liv reports that the much anticipated tests don't indicate which one of them fathered Sofia's baby boy. Looks like the anticipation, wishful thinking - and woe is me-whining will continue until the baby arrives (in dramatic and untimely fashion I'm sure).

Sure Lily's sleeping with Daniel - but the twins deserve to see their father. Oh lucky day - she arrives at the airport just in time. Unhappy to find Cane at Lily's, Daniel makes a beeline for Neil (who makes a beeline back to Lily). Sticking to her guns, Lily makes it clear to all, she's not reconciling with Cane - he's ONLY there for the kids.

Diane's murder seemingly forgotten, Ronan's only job this week is giving the ladies something to gripe about. Now back to being friends with Kevin, Chloe's all fired up to 'get in Ronan's face' (but ends up in his bed). She may have been satisfied between the sheets - but she's certainly NOT satisfied with his lame 'the FBI made me do it' explanation for leaving town. Chloe huffs out - and just in time too; Jill and Ester have taken a sick Delia to Memorial.

Noticeably absent this week: any mention of Diane or the investigation into her death - and anything else Newman. Ya got that?!
