At the club, Billy scolds Jack for not supporting his wife – and being self-righteous (bringing up him and Adam once faking Victor’s journal) Jack’s going to tell the truth, and will save Billy and Phyllis from themselves.

Save us? We don’t need saving, Billy argues with his pious milk-toast brother. You love watching me lose – it’s the cherry on your sundae. That’s why you didn’t lend me the money. Dad wouldn’t have lent you the money, Jack growls – he’d have killed the deal. Would Dad have let his wife be arrested for perjury? Billy thinks Jack might as well be back on the island for all the support he’s shown Phyllis. You’re USELESS to her. Jack leaves without further word.

Vikki knows Jack hates this vendetta – how can Phyllis disregard his feelings if she loves him? How about YOUR vendetta? Phyllis snaps back – you can’t make Billy your puppet. You don’t deserve him anymore – probably never did, she marches out.

Nikki has a dream that Victor shows up in her suite (to declare his undying love) Hearing a knock at the door, Nikki jumps up – Victor? She’s disappointed to find it’s room service delivering tea.

There was no grudge against you – the situation’s been handled, the warden assures Victor (who’s breathing becomes laboured as he sits) Are you OK? the warden asks. Victor’s bleeding through his shirt.

Next: Devon speaks – As the man writing the checks, I think it’s time Ashley took back her title and her office (Ashley smiles at Hilary) … I realized something about today, Nikki tells Jack – it’s my anniversary…. A tear glistens as Victor looks lonely in his cell.

My Thoughts: Who the hell cares whether Billy lied to his wife about coming back to her? This isn’t divorce court – no one gives a rats ass. And why is the deposition being held in Victor’s office? And why is Vikki calling all the shots? It was great when Phyllis steamrolled over Daddy’s little princess … Whether or not Jack agrees with Phyllis, he shouldn’t have turned his phone off to hold Nikki’s hand. How handy that they were able to catch an AA meeting after Nikki was released from GCM. How does Nikki plan to explain being run over by a car outside the club? Her family knows she’s fallen off the wagon and it seems they don’t care. Why is Nikki afraid of what her staff will think when they see her? It should be easier to lie to them than her kids. Go ahead Jack – clean out the mini bar – there’s a fully stocked bar downstairs (or delivered from room service) … Since Natalie hates her glasses so much, why doesn’t she wear contact lenses? And it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to get your hair dyed and cut into a bob (a bob? Is that still a thing?) .. Summer and her ‘I can’t tell a lie’ is almost as annoying as Noah trying to be Mr Honest. They’ve both inherited the lying gene from both sides.
