In the stables, Sharon ends a call with Scott (sorry that they lost track of Alice) Faith then comes in all excited about her riding. On the subject of her going ‘home’, to Chelsea’s, Sharon lists all the good things. Faith lists what she misses about the ranch – can I see Grandpa? Sharon thinks he’s at work – let’s have some girl-time ~hug~
Jack wants his Mother (and her expertise) at Jabot. OK, Dina vows that Graham will never read another word of Jabot’s business. Pleased, Jack leaves Dina to blast Ashley for being so hard on Graham – who she met on a sheik’s yacht in Monte Carlo. And if he did worm his way onto the boat just to meet her, Dina would be flattered. She’s NOT blinded by infatuation and can prove it.
Graham and I have keys to each other’s rooms, Dina hands his to Ashley – he’s in Paris, have at it. Satisfy your curiosity and search the room. Then apologize when you realize that Graham has nothing to hide. Ashley’s left to eye the key her Mother left on the desk.
He wanted to get to her first, Nick sums it up well; Victor played the good guy, he told Faith that her Dad moved in with Chelsea because he didn’t want her to be shocked. Nikki’s sickened – he must feel so threatened to have stooped to this. Nick never wanted to turn Faith against her Grandpa but must now tell his daughter the truth.
Pausing to watch Billy leaning over Vikki’s desk, Victor marches into her office to hope he’s not interrupting (which Billy doubts as he escapes quickly) Vikki wonders what’s so important that her Dad’s here in person.
Phyllis paces the small office offering Ravi encouragement and praise – you’re too good. Billy then comes looking for her. Saying he’ll work on this at home, Ravi exits. Billy doesn’t want to know what that was all about – he wants to discuss what’s happening ‘between us’
Nikki joins Jack outside his office to exchange a few forced pleasantries with Dina. We’ll discuss your new assignment later, Jack ruffles his Mom’s feathers and escorts Nikki into his office. OK – what has the lord of the manor done now? Nikki would rather escape the drama and jumps at the opportunity to go to the cabin (since Jack vows that he’s definitely not sabotaging Vikki’s company to get back at Billy)
In Ravi’s office, Billy apologizes for overreacting (when they argued about Vikki at BnS earlier) Phyllis is sorry too – dinner sounds perfect ~kiss~
Vikki tells her ‘Daddy’ that she took his advice – she’s being proactive and feeling hopeful. Victor has something he wants her to do for him.
As Sharon finishes braiding her hair, Faith jumps up to greet her Dad; who’s excited that her riding instructor thinks she’s ready to compete next month. Mom and I will look into it, Nick thrills Faith – who wants to go tell her Grandpa. Nick then sits Faith down to say that he knows Victor came to visit her at camp. Grandpa wasn’t honest with you about why we left the ranch.
Grandpa wanted us to leave? Faith’s corrected; he wanted ME to leave. Nick wanted to move in with Chelsea but did it while Faith was at camp because he had no choice. Why wasn’t Faith told? Sharon says they didn’t want to make things harder for her. Your Grandpa does care about you very much. Nick doesn’t want Faith to resent him. After Faith goes to fetch her stuff, Nick tells Sharon that Victor will do anything not to lose his grandkids.
