Back at TotT, Noah and Neil seem more worried about PR than Paul’s investigation into a sex ring. Paul can’t guarantee word won’t get out – then goes to scold Sharon and Tessa – I asked you to leave this to the police – where’s Crystal? She took off before anyone could stop her, Sharon claims. Sure she did, Paul’s skeptical.
Forget about what I had to do to survive – and Zack won’t mention the things Abby’s Father has done. No more excuses, Abby’s done with Zack and Design Date. Zack doesn’t believe that – you and Victor are both culpable. Stop the car! Abby demands. Zack speeds up.
Sharon wonders if Paul has more questions or does he just want to take his frustrations out on Tessa. Scott then calls – he’s following Zack and Abby; they’re a couple of miles ahead of him. As the connection starts to go in and out, Sharon grabs the phone to ask Scott to be careful – I love you, she adds. I don’t know if he heard me, she cries to Paul.
Victor and Vikki are in the waiting room at GCM trying to wrap their heads around what happened; Dina hurting Nikki – where’s Abby? And Zack runs a sex ring??? Vikki will handle this. When Noah arrives, Victor’s pleased that Vikki talked him into managing Top of the Tower. Seems both their new jobs are off to a rocky start.
In Jack’s office, Ashley updates him on all the shocking news. Dina’s still missing – could Nikki have provoked her? Jack doesn’t feel any provocation could justify this – and what about Abby being taken by her sex-ring operating boyfriend??? Ashley will try calling her again.
The car now stopped, Zack takes Abby’s phone and won’t let her get out of the car. Think this through. I want nothing to do with you – Abby wonders what his plan is. Are you going to hurt me?! Zack would never do that. He’s grabbing some things and leaving. Come with me. Tonight is proof that your family don’t care about you. No one will ever care about you the way I do.
It went straight to voicemail this time. Abby must have turned off her phone, Ashley tells Jack.
After Abby and Zack get out of the car, Dina pops up in the back seat.
Still at TotT, neither Paul nor Sharon can reach Scott. No tower ‘ping’ indicates he’s in the middle of nowhere. It’s time to let the police handle this. Sharon worries what Zack will do now (to Scott – no mention of Abby) We’ll find him, Paul reassures with a hug then leaves Sharon to worry alone at the restaurant.
Walking down the hospital hallway, Nikki answers Jack’s call to say she’s in a bit of shock but patched up. The plastic surgeon says no scars from the stitches. Jack’s on his way. No need, Victor’s here – Nikki’s had enough drama for one night. Understanding, Jack tells Nikki that he hasn’t spoken to Dina and has no idea where she is.
