As Vikki referees, Victor asks Nick if he’s in trouble for this woman’s death. No, but if I were, I’d want you to stay out of it! Every time you do something for the family, there’s a terrible price to pay. After Nick slams out, Vikki scolds her Father and also clip clops out (leaving Victor to rant to himself about his ridiculous it all is)

Now seated at the club, Jack has to wonder if Billy’s not ready to come back to Jabot. Phyllis is aghast – how can you say that? He nearly died proving himself worthy of your respect and you’re talking about letting him go!?

Billy’s on the phone as he arrives home – get it to me right away. I don’t have much time.

If Jack feels guilty about not supporting Billy in this Internet project why is he debating letting him go? Billy needs this – he needs your support, Phyllis downplays his ‘moment of weakness’. Jack knows that one moment of weakness can obliterate an addicts’ progress. Billy returning to his old obsessions could kill him or ruin his future with Vikki and those kids.

Vikki comes home to find Billy with a rose clenched between his teeth. That smell is the Garlic Marinara he had delivered. What’s going on? Trouble at work? Big trouble, someone was killed last night – Nick’s blaming Dad, Vikki confides

Sharon understands the loss of a child. How to cope? Sometimes you don’t. The days become weeks, then months, then years. Sharon struggles sometimes too; thinks about Cassie every day. It makes her feel closer. She can feel my love. Sage thinks that nice – hopes to be there one day. You will be, Sharon takes her hand. Nick finds them bonding. He gripes about Victor refusing to accept responsibility – it’s business as usual for him.

Natalie and Summer have both been summoned to Victor’s office. What’s up? A change of plans.

Victor’s restructuring; including this genius idea. Natalie can’t work in an office. Victor insists she move into Summer’s spare room. Why not? Both reluctantly agree and leave.

Over a bottle of wine, Vikki tells Billy the sad tale of the girl who got injured in their pool and the boy she liked never coming to visit her. They then discuss the various times Victor’s tried to meddle in their lives. Even Victor can’t fight destiny ~kiss~

When Dylan comes home, Sharon goes up to get Sully (leaving Dylan to relay that Paul’s not investigating why Patty killed Dr Anderson) Nick agrees – there’s more to it.

All smile as Dylan hands Sully over to Sage.

Given the tour, Natalie asks how Summer affords such a nice place and assumes Kyle will be over constantly. He’s working in New York – we’re long distance. That never works out, Natalie snaps – and she needs space to do her work. Fine, I’ll give you space, Summer grabs her coat and slams out.

Phyllis loves Jack, but you’re going about this the wrong way. Billy needs his big brother to have his back. OK, but Jack needs to stay in front of this. No, he’s not worried about HIS addiction, he saw Neil with a drink in his hand. Billy’s addicted to gambling (and besting Victor)
