No, Abby does love Ben but is confused by false expectations of ‘thunder bolts’ due to romantic movies. Deciding that they can still work on things, Ben’s summoned back to work. ‘Look back’, Abby desperately mutters her wish aloud – but is disappointed when Ben steps onto the elevator without doing so.

Ashley barges into Jack’s office to announce that she doesn’t want to work with Phyllis. Make it work, Jack orders as he exits for a lunch meeting. Ashley calls to summon Phyllis to Jack’s office. Phyllis can’t – she’s uh – going to a lunch meeting (and out she hurries)

Sharon agrees that her life is like a dream – so fragile. Thank God you’re back, she gasps when Mariah returns home. A puzzled Nick dispatched upstairs to tend to Sully, Mariah reports her conversation with Patty – but has no idea if she’ll play along.

How great is that kid? Nick comes down (as Sharon’s fretting to Mariah) I have to tell you something, Sharon says. Mariah quickly stands up to cover – my Mom’s grateful you reminded her how wonderful her family is – right Sharon?

In her room, Patty has an epic hissy fit – no more art! Make it stop! she cries as a doctor rushes in to hold her.

At the park cafe, Jack puts his briefcase down beside an identical briefcase. A suited man seated at the next table makes the exchange and hurries off – all watched by Phyllis. Back at the office, Ashley squints at Jack’s laptop in disbelief – 2 users are logged into the system!

Next: Hilary snarls at Neil – Jack is my friend. I won’t drag his name through the mud. That’s not what I’m about … Victor Newman will pay for the pain he caused. I am going to see to that, Jack vows to Phyllis … Ladies and gentlemen, the new Brash n Sassy, Cane announces to applause (at a presentation at Top of the Tower with Vikki and Billy)

My Thoughts: OK. I did have thoughts today but my Internet is down until a tech can come out tomorrow – so I have to go find a neighbour who’s home and will invite me in so that I can use their connection to upload. If you’re reading this, my sniveling was successful. That said, depending upon how welcome I am, I may or may not have time to proofread or spellcheck so let’s just appreciate the small things. I’m heading to my Italian neighbour first in hopes of being fed also!
