Noah explains that Audra’s working on a deal for CW – he got a bad vibe. Mariah doesn’t like her already. Tessa doesn’t see Audra as a threat – Noah’s head over heels for Ally.
Back at the office, Billy leaves a ‘call me’ message for Vikki. After a chat with the new receptionist (Ester), he asks Lily why she didn’t tell him. Lily grumbles about him not caring what goes on at CW.
Back at the club, Noah’s worried that Audra might cause trouble (which concerns Mariah and Tessa.
Audra insists on joining Ally (who’s initially unintimidated – nothing you do or say will make me question Noah’s affection for me) Audra then describes their relationship as too electrifying to sustain. Doesn’t sound like that’s a problem for you – lucky. Ally’s confidence slips.
Billy tried very hard to make this fit. Lily misses their old working dynamic but appreciates him staying on until CW goes public.
Vikki tells Nate that Kay didn’t leave her company to Tucker in her will; she chose Victor to be her successor. We’ll bring CW into the fold – the way my Godmother intended.
After her meeting with Nate, Vikki joins Elena at CL’s – she’s sorry if this has caused problems in their relationship. Are you really sorrry? Elena asks – why don’t you care that Nate’s on a collision course with his family? Don’t fault him for learning how to play the game. Vikki calling it a game is all Elena needs to hear (so leaves)
Billy and Lily have kissed and made up when Audra joins the meeting. Lily praises Nate’s idea to move the schedule up. Billy jokes about Devon hiding his excitement. Devon’s just cautious – he wonders what Kay and Neil would think. Lily’s sure there’s nothing to worry about. When Elena joins, Nate tries to ship her off to his office. This can’t wait, Elena’s not budging.
Mariah and Tessa need to know what trouble to look for with Audra. She emotionally spirals, Noah confides. You never know what will trigger one of her moods. He doesn’t need the drama. Ally arrives at the club to report that she ran into Audra.
Nate and Elena have a chat in private. She’s interviewing for a job in Baltimore and chances are she’ll get an offer. She’s leaving tonight – this is me saying ‘goodnight’.
Ally relays her run in with Audra. Mariah knows the type – sickening sweet with a side of passive aggressiveness. Ally doesn’t need help dealing with Audra. You’re incredible, Noah gives her a kiss.
Vikki rejoins Nick at the office to say that Newman’s going full speed ahead on it’s plan for CW.
It’s over, Elena sees no future with Nate. That way, I can move on – you can get to work. In tears, Elena loves the man that’s deep down inside – but doesn’t want this power-hungry version. With a kiss, she leaves Nate to head back into the office. He has something to say to Devon and Lily, in private.
