Devon bets Amanda had a lot of fun going after him today. If you believe that, add me to the long list of things you don’t understand. Putting your lack of loyalty on display was a painful reminder. Abby, of all people. Amanda didn’t see it coming. I helped you pick up the pieces after Elena cheated on you. I hate remembering how deeply you hurt me. I thought you were a good man. Amanda now knows he’s not.

Diane has something else to talk to Kyle about – her and Jack getting married. He suggests they talk later, the three of us, so there’s no misunderstandings.

Maime flashes back to her last visit, years ago. He and Diane were thinking about getting married (Ashley wasn’t thrilled then either) Barging through the front door shouting ‘Jack!’, a surprised Billy hugs Maime. After she goes upstairs, Jack tells Billy that Maime’s here for the gala. Billy’s there to accept Jack’s job offer. I’ll do the ole man proud this time. Jack credits Chelsea with the change in Billy. I couldn’t be happier for you, or for me – welcome home, Billy ~hug~

Are you in or out? If we go through with this, my entire life will change, Phyllis is near tears. Every day will be about keeping this secret; this is next level. If you can’t, tell me now, Jeremy gives her one last chance to call it off. I have to go, Phyllis scurries out.

At Society, Lily tells Jill that things were going well. Devon joins them – what’s this about? There won’t be ‘sides’ anymore – the IPO is dead, Jill announces that the company remains private. Then, the two of you can find a way to be a family again.

There’s too much going on tonight for Jack to talk about Billy’s ideas. When Diane and Kyle walk in, Billy takes the hint – see you all tonight.

Diane went to see how Kyle feels about their engagement. He’s come to talk to both his parents.

Hey Summer. I got your text, Phyllis greets her. I hate that we can’t talk anymore. Summer confronts her Mom for lying about Jeremy going to Europe to look for Diane. He never left town. You lied straight to my face, with our relationship already on the brink!

How do you expect us all to work together after everything you’ve said and done? Devon scowls – like hiring Amanda. Jill stops the siblings bickering – she wishes she could take back the IPO. Devon doesn’t see how he can work with them again.

On the CL’s patio, Abby sends Devon a text – then comes face to face with Amanda.

You’ve joined forces with a dangerous felon, Summer looks disgusted. I don’t even know who you are anymore. I’m your Mother; I’d do anything to protect you. You put me in harms way and lied to me! Stop – or I need you gone before someone gets really hurt! Summer runs out. Phyllis is left to clip-clop to the elevator.

Kyle can see that his parents love each other. The circumstances of your love story are beyond extraordinary. Who am I to stand in your way? You deserve to be happy. This is all he wanted as a kid. Of course you have my blessing ~hug~

Phyllis pounds on Jeremy’s door. I’m in! Let’s do it. We’re gonna make this the party they never forget.

My Thoughts: The arbitrator was ready to wrap things up without being shown a copy of the contract? You’d think she’d have been given a chance to go over it before the hearing was even scheduled…. It’s a good thing TGP has such thick walls that Phyllis’ shouting about Diane can’t be heard by the other guests …. This is one long day. This next masquerade gala will likely be the last one (until the next one) Where’s the gala being held? Noah’s club? Nice to see Maime again – but would it kill them to bring back the Chief for the 50th celebration?
