Heather and Daniel are both glad she didn’t give up on him – he wants to see her and Lucy every day – we can be a family again. That’s all Heather needed to hear.
Though Audra won’t tell Kyle her secrets, he confides that there’s rumblings at Jabot that his Dad’s not happy with Billy’s job performance. Even if that’s true, do you really think he’d give that job to you? she surprises him.
Still on the terrace, Diane and Jack are not on the same page when it comes to who Kyle might rekindle things with – Summer or Audra.
Claiming that he just exchanged a look with Maime, Tucker can see that Devon has a problem with his investor. What is it? Maybe I can help.
Inside, Jack isn’t impressed to find that Billy’s opened Tucker’s gift. Diane’s glad they don’t have to wonder about it. Maybe he really wants peace. Jack doesn’t see it as a harmless gift – Tucker isn’t done, he bellows.
Realizing the time, Devon needs to go home. Are we good or do you still suspect I’m part of some conspiracy? Tucker hopes his son will one day trust him.

My Thoughts: It’s always a shame when a young, beautiful actress feels the need to ‘fix’ lines and wrinkles before they even appear…. You’d think a man as wealthy as Tucker could afford better gift wrap. There must be more to this bonsai tree – like a listening device? (though I jotted this down before the big reveal, it wasn’t rocker science; the Abbotts were speaking very loudly and clearly into the bugged bonsai) If I ever form a rock band, it shall be named ‘Bugged Bonsai’; my band-mates and I will form a semi circle and clearly and loudly sing into a bonsai tree … Wouldn’t it have been easier for Tucker to ‘plant’ a bug in the living room? It’s not like the Abbotts would be stupid enough to take it to the office, right? Right?? … I’m no expert on reading body language but Daniel looks more terrified than thrilled. That, or Heather just ate some garlic cloves. Either way, if that couch didn’t have an arm, he’d be on the floor. Why does Heather need Daniel’s permission to live in GC?
