Tucker will lose everything and be humiliated, it’ll affect his relationship with Devon, Ashley warns. She makes Abby promise to tolerate Tucker if she promises not to get back with him.

Devon reluctantly agrees that Tucker can drop Dom’s gifts off at the house. Looking over at Ashley (seated with Abby) Tucker pushes to spend some time with them on Christmas Eve.

That’s not gonna happen, at all, Devon doesn’t need Tucker’s drama or lies. It’s your own fault (which Tucker agrees with) Rejoining Ashley and Abby, Devon reports that Tucker’s a lost cause. He is for me, Ashley agrees – but maybe not for you.

Jack ends Kyle’s call by taking his phone away. Tucker can’t prepare for what they have planned. You protected us, Jack couldn’t be more impressed or proud. It means a lot to both of them that Kyle will soon be Jabot’s co-CEO.

The games will never end with you, Summer lists the reasons her Mom can’t accept Tucker’s job offer. 1) You hate him 2) he’s going after the Abbotts 3) it’ll be illegal 4) leaving Omegasphere will break Daniels’ heart 5) if you take this job, I won’t trust you again.

Jill’s building her troops to protect her position, Maime must do the same. Nate thinks it a bad idea to make a power play against Jill, especially with Billy as acting coCEO.

Billy meets Chance at CL’s – he’s there to point him in the right direction. I’m your mentor and at your disposal. Chance nods grimly.

Jack reminds Kyle that he must continue to play the role of ‘disgruntled son’. Ashley joins them on the front step. No mention of Tucker today, she implores.

Summer thought Phyllis was serious but can see she wants to accept Tucker’s job offer. When he arrives on cue, Summer assumes he’s there to meet her Mom and warns him to stay away from her.

My mentor? Chance balks. Given your lack of business experience, we think it’s a good idea, Billy asks if Chance disagrees. Honestly, Chance looks forward to working with Billy but his history in the corporate world makes him wonder how this mentoring looks exactly.

Ashley happily takes over putting the angel atop the tree while Diane’s thrilled when Kyle quietly confirms that he and his Dad are working on the plan against Tucker.

Stop tempting my Mom. She doesn’t want anything to do with you, at any price – right Mom? Summer leaves Tucker take her tirade as a sign that Phyllis is considering his offer. Wrong. No way in hell I’ll EVER work with you, she claims.

My Thoughts: Chance needs to check his ego and be grateful that Billy’s willing to mentor him. He has zero business experience and Jill’s the boss. If he doesn’t like it, he should stick with what he knows – taking bullets and getting people killed … The club’s food can’t be too appetizing or Abby’s salad is very filling or she’s boycotting because they’re not eating at Society. … Note to the Abbotts – less is more. When there is no more empty space, your tree is done. If it wasn’t placed in the corner, one more ornament would cause it to topple over ….. Good LORD – we get it, daytime works on a shoestring budget – but surely it couldn’t cost much more to hire 20 extras to jump up and down in a concert scene than it would to have Summer and Chance superimposed (very poorly) into a blurry concert scene? In this case, the C in CGI must stand for ‘cringeworthy’. If the concert was last night, why are Summer and Chance again spending time together? … If Devon doesn’t want Tucker to stop by over Christmas, why not volunteer to bring Dom over to his suite for a quick visit? And what kind of rinky-dink, Made in China, Amazon clearance gifts is Tucker buying his grandson? I searched for a deluxe kids’ tambourine and found only one over $25. That tacky instrument has ‘choking hazzard’ written all over it. I mean ‘Zhìxí de wéixiǎn. 窒息的危险’
