It’s hard to trust someone who’s all in on themselves. Billy vows to prove himself to Devon, but you have to give me a chance.
At Society, Amanda asks Abby for a word. After Mariah goes to the back to check on Tessa, Amanda wants to know how serious Devon’s objections to Billy working at CW are.
Chris and Phyllis are so busy arguing that they don’t even notice Danny pack up and leave – then blame one another when they do notice.
Danny isn’t interested in you – you’re not what he wants – Danny and I will always find our way back to each other, Chris raises her voice. You’re holding on to moldy memories, Phyllis’ relationship with Danny is new and exciting. You haven’t changed – you used your son to get to Danny. My son would be happy to have his parents back together. You’re scared of being alone – you’re broken. Nobody wants you! Chris shouts – certainly not Danny! When Phyllis leans in to call her a bitch, Chris challenges – go ahead, give me a reason to press charges.
Invited to bounce ideas off Nate, Chance does have one he’d like to run by Nate before taking it to Billy. A music festival. Run with it – see where it goes. Nate once took that idea to Devon. Maybe we can work together to convince him. I’ll back help you with the pitch. Summer arrives to smile at Chance.
You want me to betray Devon by telling you how he feels about Billy? Abby realizes. No, Amanda wants her to convince Devon to accept Billy. Do you have a problem because it’s me asking? she wonders.
Where do you go when Lily comes back? Devon also claims that it’s Billy who doesn’t trust him – why? Billy points to Devon’s fall-out with Lily and your ‘my way or the highway’ mentality won’t work.

Abby’s sorry she hurt Amanda (by cheating with Devon) but doesn’t want Amanda to use that. Why can’t the four of us work together? Amanda suggests. Let’s just let Devon and Billy work it out themselves, Abby declines.
Running into Lauren at the GCAC, Danny’s starting to think that his next concert tour can’t come fast enough.
Exchanging pleasantries with Summer, Nate leaves Chance to tell her that he (Nate) likes one of his ideas.
Abby tells Mariah that Amanda was there about CW but she made it personal. That sounds messy to Mariah. Could be, Abby has to wait for the board vote to know.
Devon has no intention of working with me, Billy whines when Amanda returns to CW. She’s not sure appealing to Abby was a good idea. Billy thinks it best she back off – let me handle this. Amanda’s there at Jill’s request – Maime and Tucker are huge threats – she wants everyone on the same team – and that’s what Amanda will do whether they like it or not.
Phyllis wouldn’t hit Chris – you’re not worth it. I was getting very, very close to Danny when you showed up. You’re afraid you’ve lost him all over again. At least you have your memories to keep you warm at night. Chris is left with her head in her hands.
Are Phyllis and Chris fighting over you again? Lauren hears Danny out – then casts doubt on his assertion that he only likes Phyllis as a friend.
