Pleased when Danny agrees that Lily shouldn’t have fired Daniel, Phyllis rubs his arm and takes another dig at Chris (which continues when the Bug summons Danny via text) That leaves Daniel to conclude that his Mom lied when saying you’d accepted Dad’s decision and moved on.

The doctor doesn’t know yet what trauma affected Connor. Blame isn’t productive – today’s assignment was to write in his journal the top three things that scare him. Trust the therapy, ERP is the first step. Chelsea and Adam continue to play good cop-bad cop.

Devon and Nate oppose going to the board. Billy agrees with Lily (which means he thinks the board will vote his way, Devon frowns) Guess we’ll find out, Billy leaves, followed by Nate. Lily then asks Devon to be honest – would he have sided with her if Billy wasn’t so opposed?

Video chat over, Adam’s pissed. Chelsea’s in shock. It was me, the rooftop, she starts to cry – Connor blames himself. Adam blames himself – Connor thought he was dead. How did we not see that our son was suffering?

Phyllis HAS moved on – but Chris WILL hurt Danny, she’s sure. Daniel hopes her job’s not at risk because of him. They know about your lawsuit, she guesses when Chance and Nate enter to take a table. Phyllis has inside information – things aren’t good at CW. She wonders what Chance and Nate are talking about. Perhaps we should eavesdrop.

Hello gorgeous, Danny joins Chris at the club’s bar. Before he hears what she’s decided, he presents her with an official concert T-shirt.

As Chelsea and Adam worry that their son will resent them, Connor tosses his notebook aside and counts as he clicks his pen. 64.. 65.. They won’t take Connor way – he’s coming home to us, Chelsea tries to stay positive.

What can Danny say to convince Chris to come on tour with him? He’ll dedicate every song to to her. Chris feels ‘adored’ but this client needs her. Danny’s disappointed but takes the news well – this client is getting the best. This isn’t the end for us, they decide to make the most of the time they have together ~kiss~

Devon would have sided with Lily either way but Billy and Nate made valid points. We shouldn’t let things get ugly. Things have already gotten ugly, Lily won’t let Daniel and Heather take anything else from her.

Phyllis won’t ‘entangle’ herself in anything but Daniel can see the gears turning. Watch this, Phyllis races over to Nate and Chance – she can’t believe Lily would be so petty – surely you two don’t approve of her firing my son and Heather.

Nate has nothing to say to Phyllis – the firings were a business move. It’s above my pay grade, Chance is praised/mocked for his quick grasp of corporate double-speak. Phyllis has been hearing rumours of discontent in the C-suite. Getting no feedback, she’ll just have to ask Billy. Still at his table, Daniel watches.

Lily had ’cause’ to fire Daniel – he cheated on me! Vowing not to let Daniel and his girlfriend win this ‘nuisance suit’ and trash her in the court of public opinion, Lily’s tired of playing nice. As she clip-clops out, Devon looks weary.

Meeting Billy at CL’s, Chelsea updates him that Connor has OCD and ‘trauma’. Adam was OK on the call – he’s afraid Connor will resent and blame us. Maybe Connor will decide he’s better off without us, she fears.

Adam calls Sharon – can you help me before I make things worse?

Today’s show closes with a PSA from Chelsea, Adam and Connor about childrens’ mental health – visit onoursleeves.org (which looks like a really cool site. Since they’re out of beanies, I plan to donate $25 for a kindness kit that goes out to elementary school classrooms.

My Thoughts: It’d be easier to believe that Danny’s a big ‘rock star’ if just once, a fan would approach him to take a selfie or get an autograph … It appears they’ve hired a new hair-stylist who specializes in the side part (except Daniel – he’s working on his unemployed, starving artist look) … Show me a restaurant in which three adults take up bar stools while one of them sips on a glass of water and I’ll show you a bartender who’s muttering under his/her/their breath as they leave (without tipping because water’s free after all) … Weird how Nate sits to talk to Lily, but is blocked by Devon’s butt .. Why is a fashionista like Chelsea shopping at Forever 21? … You’d think Adam would at least have a 15″ laptop for video calls instead of a tablet/iPad on a book .. Phyllis looks fabulous in her purple dress – but hasn’t the wardrobe dept. heard of full length body slimmers? When Phyllis reminded Nate that she’s still a CW employee, he should have looked at his watch and asked what time her lunch break is over …. Seeing Adam and Connor side by side, they actually do look like father and son (same frown) Isn’t there a real bench Connor could be filmed sitting on? There must be one around the studio. Shouldn’t troubled kids be supervised?… If Lily’s so concerned about losing out on merchandise, trading cards, book and movie rights, why does it have to be winner-takes-all? CW’s legal dept. can hammer out an agreement that gives both parties a percent of the profits?(though I doubt Princess Louisa will be the next Harry Potter)
